Balloon flight was great, staff friendly.
Telephone information accurate, fun to help with aet up and pack away.

This was such an amazing experience - right from the start to the end. Getting the balloon up, the ride, views was simply marvellous (we travelled a good distance due to the wind). My 10 year old was with us and he was absolutely beaming at the end. Our pilot Mark ensured the entire ride was very smooth.

I know a lot of people have faced multiple cancellations and there was a couple in my group that were on their 4th attempt but I was lucky to have gone ahead on my 1st try. So hang in there.

Few things to note for people wanting to try this:
- The website makes it seem like the staff can manage inflating and deflating the balloon on their own and customers can help only if they feel like it. I would say unless you help, the whole process wil be much, much longer. But don't worry, it's loads of fun (and still not mandatory)
- It can feel a bit hot if you are standing closer to the middle because of the flames used to heat up the air but it's temporary and doesn't affect the experience

All in all, really, really fun and if it was cheaper I would try it again very soon

Our balloon flight was brilliant. Worth the 3 year wait and cancelled flights to get the perfect day. The team were friendly, knowledge and helpful. They clearly love what they do.

We were included in preparations, launch was so quick and smooth. The pilot chatted about heights we were flying at, pointed out landmarks and everyone was friendly. Landing was smooth and after helping with the balloon storage a very welcome glass of bubbles completed a super experience - thank you

We finally got our trip after a number of postponements resulting from the temperamental British weather. On the day we had to move locations due to wind direction, but clear details were provided.
The day itself was near perfect. Still morning, sun rising into clear skies. Once checked in, we helped with the set up, then boarded to take the flight. Safety procedures were clearly explained before hand.
Adrian the pilot was very informative, telling us what was happening when he did things and why, explaining what we were seeing below and around us.
Choosing a good landing site proved not as easy as we had expected, but Adrian explained the thought process and considerations needed, so it was never an issue.
Once we did land, most of us helped to pack up balloon and basket, with good clear instructions from Adrian and the others. Then after some bucks fizz all round, back in a minibus to where we started.
Terrific experience.

Having all helped to set up the balloon for the flight, we then had a lovely evening ‘sailing’ from Oxford to Sutton Courtney. We had every confidence in our pilot throughout. Once we landed, we helped pack away the balloon, and were then given a celebratory drink. The mini bus then returned us to our starting point in Oxford. Ballooning was a lovely experience.

I don't know quite where to start with this 'experience' / ruined birthday surprise.
We booked onto a flight the night before at Oxford to be told the next day it was in Henley due to building work at the launch site. According to them this is a reasonable change of location. I would argue it is a sign of their disorganisation.
We arrived at the meeting point 120 seconds late to find no one there and no means of contacting them. No one had the courtesy to give us a quick call. Hilariously, I was sent a customer review email the next day to rate my flight and experience.
After many complaints we have been effectively left with no balloon flight, no vouchers and a significant loss of money.
They clearly don't care about customers and I think anyone considering buying their vouchers should be warned.

Bought as a Christmas gift for my partner as she had always wanted to go on a hot air balloon flight. And she loved it , we both went and from start to finish was well looked after by the pilot .
It was a fantastic experience and was greeted with a goblet of bubbly after we landed.
I would recommend going on it if it's something you're interested in doing.

It was a beautiful evening over Oxford and we enjoyed it immensely. We were fortunate with no cancellation but were disappointed that the venue was changed by the local council not Virgin.

Absolutely loved every minute of it. Our pilot Gary was brilliant and explained every step of the flight making the whole experience very relaxing and enjoyable.
Helping to prepare the balloon for the flight and packing everything up afterwards adds so much fun to the day and really makes you feel like you’re part of the team.

The pilot Damon Bridger and his two colleagues were very knowledgeable and skillful in setting up the balloon. The flight was smooth and seamless. Many landmarks were highlighted to us on the flight. We felt at ease and enjoyed every minute.

I wa lucky enough to be given a voucher for my 50th birthday. I had always wanted to fly in a hot air balloon and I wasn't disappointed! The whole experience was perfect, from booking to landing. The night before, I had an email telling me that the flightline had been updated. I rang the number and was given clear instructions from the recorded message. It was a very early start but was worth it. The pilot (Gary) was very professional and had a reassuring, calm manner. The flight was so peaceful, I would have happily stayed up there all morning. I wasn't so keen on the landing!🤣 I would say that you need to be relatively fit and agile just to get in and out of the basket. I'm hoping that I'll get the chance to do it again in the future. Thank you for a fabulous experience!😍

It was an amazing experience drifting calmly over the fields and it was topped off by Chris and his incredible crew who were extremely fun and helpful. Oh and she said yes when I proposed!

And helping to get the balloon ready and to pack it away with our fellow passengers really brings you all together for that moment in time that you have shared. Highly recommended.

Nothing wrong with the experience it was the location. Disappointing just seeing farmers fields and housing estates. If you book this be careful of the location you choose. It was not the thrill I was expecting and to be honest not worth the money.

The flight was booked by my family for my birthday although it was cancelled due to the weather when we did go it was a beautiful day. The pilot was very informative about where we were. All in all it was a very good day.
