Pat Muller was the underwriter who was managing my application, she really took her time, even went out of her way to explain the process and what things I should be looking out for in the future. I cannot fault her at all, the mortgage offer was also issued extremely quickly!

I had a very complex case on a very tight deadline. Lisa @ Vida was the underwriter in this case and she went over and above to take my calls and help me get the offer issued quicker than it should have been due to a deadline the client was given by the council. Excellent service, over and beyond the stated SLA's.

Poor Communication.. now at risk at losingproperty
I’ve been stuck in limbo for the past four weeks. My application was submitted through the broker and the valuation was completed on the 18th of February. Vida later raised a query about the valuation, which the valuers responded to on the 27th of February. Since then, I haven’t received any update from Vida and I’m now at risk of losing the property offer.
Vida say they’re waiting for a response from e.surv to a post valuation query, yet e.surv say they have responded and haven’t received any communication from Vida. I’m struggling to understand what’s actually happening. What’s going on! Response time is shocking and underwriter seems to be uncontactable outside of email, it’s a joke!

Do not go anywhere near Vida Homeloans…
Do not go anywhere near Vida Homeloans unless you can’t get a mortgage anywhere else. Try lots of mortgage brokers to see if you can get alternative lenders. If you do have to get a mortgage with them, get the shortest fixed period you can and re-mortgage away from them as soon as you can. They are TOO expensive.

Slow but positive outcome
Very little issues except slow unfortunately.
On both applications it took around 3 weeks.
However they offer a good amount of options to buyers with a complicated situation and my application was eventually accepted!
