Mortgage offers are produced quickly and if underwriters need something they contact you to discuss as well as email. Vida is a specialist lender but they give a personal touch that most specialist lenders do not offer. From calls directly from underwriters to an interactive portal I do think Vida are on of the best out there. I have recently placed 2 specialist applications with Vida and both went through smoothly and to mortgage offer. It took a few weeks but we got there! A special mention to underwriters Mark Bellows and Patricia Muller for both their communication and stellar work on the cases. They are an asset to the Vida and I can tell you genuinely that the work they do is appreciated and respected by somebody works with all of the major lenders on the market.

I always have such a positive experience using Vida and do not hesitate in recommending them to my clients. The whole process is quick, straight forward and easy to manage.

Application process to offer as good as any high street lender

When you place a case with adverse credit history and just a 5% deposit you know the lender is going to ask for additional information but what was great with Vida was their shopping list day1 stayed the same throughout the entire application all the way to mortgage offer. It was refreshing to not have to deal with additional requests for more and more information which feels like moving goal posts and adds to the stress for the client. Great service, short response times and real helpful people at the end of a telephone rather than AI only chatbots - thank you Pat for my pre-offer call and help moving the deal on to a better rate for the clients!
