Customer service is nonexistent

Customer service is nonexistent. I ordered early December. Got the diffuser only late December but no fragrances. Its January and still no fragrances; diffuser is useless at this point. I only get automated msgs about being overwhelmed with orders so they are running behind. Ugh!

The device literally does not work and…

The device literally does not work and I cannot smell anything. Also, unfortunately I cannot cancel the scents that keep coming in since it’s a contract for 6 months. Please do not buy this if you want your home to smell good and would like a diffuser that actually works. Very misleading product advertisement.

Customer Service is IMPOSSIBLE

Extremely dissatisfied with the customer service. I ordered a device and 2 scents over a month ago and still have not gotten my items, or even a shipping confirmation email. Their customer service chat option online is virtually impossible to get someone to speak with you. And every time I get an email for support, it's an auto reply that I've already received from another agent.

Terrible

Terrible, terrible customer service!!! You can only live chat… what a waste of time that is. I have had five Pura devices for about a year and when they work they are great but there are WAY too many bugs and that makes it very frustrating and not worth the hassle for the price. I obviously know how to operate the device that I’ve had over a year but the bugs the company has happen WAY to often and don’t expect to talk to anyone

Non-existent customer service & back orders.

The diffuser is nice & I love the scents, but customer service is non-existent & products are on back order. The site says the holidays were very busy for their employees and they are now giving them some time off. What does that mean? Did they shut down the company? I downloaded the app and I’ve gotten my diffuser to work. I ordered scent subscriptions online. I can’t link my account to the app. On the app it says I’ve never placed an order. I’m concerned I’m not getting the advertised point credits for my large order. Online chat support keeps sending me a verification code, but I don’t know what to do with that code. Not sure if I need to delete the app and start over or what.

Don’t waste your money on product you won’t get

It started out a strong company and loved the product. Now it has tanked. They charge you for scents that never get shipped and say they are working on fulfilling them. However it has been 2 months and nothing. They won’t credit you back either.

The Worst Service and Communication

It is unbelievable that this product hasn't shipped when it was ordered on December 12th. This is the only gift we got my family member for Christmas and not only did they not have anything to open Christmas morning, they STILL don't have the gift, have traveled home, and now I'm going to have to ship it twice. And now to find out they are closed from Dec 23d to Jan 3rd despite, what I'm sure are mountains of unfulfilled orders. We are unbelievably disappointed. Literally any kind of communication or expectations around this aside from "sorry" would have been miles better. I still have no idea when my order is shipping.

Save yourself the grief!

Let's start with, my subscription (which you can opt to have ship immediately) did not ship as requested. No way to contact customer support. You'll need to deal with this insanely-crap chat help engine that does nothing but avoid having you speak/chat with a human by using response loops.

When you get lucky enough to force the chat session into leaving your email, you won't get a response for like 3 days. I decided to cancel and wanted a refund on the unfulfilled order. They said they canceled it, but even 10 days later, the refund never showed. I had to file a claim with PayPal (currently waiting for my funds).
Customer support are useless, and If you go to their Facebook page and post a complaint, they will remove it. I saw many recent complaints about late shipments and the next day, they all magically disappeared.

You're better off paying a few dollars more and get some scents off Amazon. I use the scents in a regular water diffuser because their own unit is hit and miss anyway.

The diffuser and the scents are great…

The diffuser and the scents are great themselves but the scents always arrive late or you don’t get one the scents because they’re sold out but they don’t tell you. You can’t reach their customer service ever. It’s been a pain to get in touch with the company. Really unfortunate having this experience.

Don’t Waste Money on the Pura diffuser

The device leaked everywhere & ate away & melted the top of my record player. The scents smell nothing like they did once they start diffusing, gave me a headache. Customer service is unhelpful & practically nonexistent. Save your money. Do NOT recommend!!! 😕

Customer service is an absolute joke.

I am giving this company a 1 star rating for their customer service alone: it is in name only and does not exist. I honestly otherwise like the product. My latest order however was missing more than half despite the packing invoice saying the full order was included. I contacted the company right away but after nearly a week I’ve heard effectively zilch from them. I am ready to rescind my payments from them and demand a refund on all my orders. I don’t think they actually care though at this point.

UPDATE as of 10/3/23: I appreciate your response here AND I think it is case in point that it came over 10 months after I posted this review. I did receive a response from your customer service but only after I had my card rescind all payments I made to you and even then, it was several months after my initial inquiry. I would give you points for bravery to respond this late and really, that does say something...

11 days, order still not shipped. No replies from support.

It’s been 11 days since I placed my order. The only thing they have done is printed the shipping label 4 days ago, but haven’t shipped the package. Nobody replies my emails and support tickets. What am I suppose to think? Or course that this is a scam.

Horrible company and product

Diffuser doesn’t work well there is no scent whatsoever. I have requested a refund with in my 30 day window and it has now been over 45 days since I sent the diffuser back but have yet to receive my refund. I have reached out multiple times via their email, live chat and even through IG and no one ever gets back to me. I can not find a phone number to actually call and speak to anyone. Needless to say I extremely unhappy with this company and their way of doing business.. I wish I would’ve never even tried this , worst experience ever

This is a terrible company to deal…

This is a terrible company to deal with. I ordered the six month subscription that comes with the free diffuser. I still have not had it shipped and yet I’ve already been charged for it and already have a date for my next shipment without a diffuser. There is no way to talk to anyone on the phone or to chat with anyone. I’m going to reach out to my credit card company and cancel the charges and it will not deal with this company again! I’d rather go with Aera who has awesome customer service.
