Stay away from these,i was diagnosed with a serious illness and had to cancel. Ive not received a refund not one penny back as didn't give enough notice! Sorry but couldn't see into the future,I didn't know i would get this news. Your a shocking company and thieves!!

Lovely surroundings and accommodation, general instructions on how to work items such as heating, cooker etc would be nice. Also food serving hours for the pub to be specified. Lights at the side of the beds didn’t work. Tidy up around the decking area to make it look a little nicer also.

Advertised with lots of eateries near by, this has absolutely nothing near by, it's surrounded by fields everything is a drive away, the drive there is awful a one way track that could rip your bumper off it you don't drive 5 miles an hour, the Lodge was clean but could do with wall paper being put back on, a tap leaked the hole time and we had to put a glass on it to stop it making a noise, a pest control box in adult bedroom not nice to see, the hot tub after a couple of days smelt awful, outside area needed a gardener to keep on top of weeding, litter picking etc, has potential to be a lovely site but wouldn't recommend going as it is.

Our welcome chocs and Prosecco were a lovely start.

Beautiful accommodation lovely and clean only thing that was missing was an oven. Also no WiFi good job kids had good data 🙃 fantastic hot tub and sauna. My husband loved the sauna that much he’s in the process off having a one built in our garden 🤷‍♀️ highly recommended 👍

I’m an old customer and have booked meny times but this time was a great let down. The whole experience was ruined by the place we had booked. It was nothing like the picture
The beds were ridiculous the shower rooms
As so small that my 7 year old struggled to have a shower.
With having a disabled person with us and we booked 3 bed cabin it was more like a children play house

There were a few things wrong first day son put foot through rotted decking had to track someone down as no one in reception or answering phone. Decking stuck up on big lodge had to ask to sort as had young grandchildren with me. Secure gate wouldn’t close so again had to track someone down to help who said it happens all the time !! Hot tub empty on arrival had to again find someone to help he then said if you have iPhones don’t charge in the smaller cabins as will trip electric. Last night electric in the little cabins tripped phoned emergency call out as reception closed no response at all and these are cabins with children under 4 and a newborn. My son again went searching for help and found a worker in their own caravan to sort absolutely disgusting. Then found electric box was next to gas bottles how dangerous. Overall very disappointed as it is a lovely quiet site.

We were in supposedly a Luxury lodge. I’d have hated to be in an ordinary lodge. The cushion on the settee was torn. The settee and chairs were what I’d expect in student accommodation. We were unable to park outside our lodge due to the lodge next door parking in our space. Theirs nobody on the site to sort this out. Plus no WiFi which in this day and age is ridiculous. We won’t be back and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

The decking was dangerous, holes and splintered wood, especially round hot tub. Hot tub only had 2 jets working so was like sitting in warm bath. beds felt like you were laying on springs so didn,t sleep. only small freezer compartment and the door had fallen off so was freezing things in fridge, broken glasses in the cupboard which nearly caused accident to child, only had 2 glasses for 6 people. one hob ring was broke. The lodge smelt fusty, radiators were rusty, looked like it had not had a good clean as dirt in corners. ran out of gas. tried to report all the issues but no one ever answered phones. will not recommend or go back ever.

We had a lovely time and would definitely go again. A good location. The lodge was clean and tidy, and we loved the hot tub. The only downside was trying to contact someone when we couldn’t work the cooker. We had to call our neighbours to help as the reception was closed and no one answered the phone on the contact list. It didn’t change the wonderful time we had. It was great value for money and we look forward to returning in the future.

Came here as a group of 6 for our yearly golf trip in the area. The cabin was exactly what we needed plenty of room for drinking and the sleeping areas were more than enough for us. The hot tub was a great addition. The room was modern and had all the amenities you would require. The only slight criticism was that the beds were a little springy. All in all a great place to stay.

Beautiful views, lovely lodges but lots of flies and a dirty duvet. Everyone was very friendly, couldn't help enough and the stay was so relaxing overall (despite the flies haha).

Upon first arriving the cabin looked quite small (we usually book for a family of 6) however there were only 3 of us, this was ample size & very comfortable. Nice fresh bed linen & towels.
Fully equipped kitchen & the hot tub was clean and comfortable.

Hi, we got 3 lodges so we could have some time away as a family of 14.
However the Lodge we had for 4 adults, had one double bed and 2 very small single beds clearly for young children and seeing as we'd given our age I would have thought we would be put in beds we could fit into.
There were slats rotting around the hot tub but I believe these are being done soon? No wifi. Broken plates in the cupboard.
The accommodation was basic which would have been fine but to have been sold as a luxury retreat is a huge jump from the truth especially when it was supposed to be special for our family.
There was a hot tub party going on until 4am behind our Lodge and that further meant no sleep as the lodges are on top of each other.
This place could be lovely but theres just a way to go yet.

This was our 2nd visit to Little Eden. The site is quiet and tranquil with easy access to Bridlington, nearby wildlife park etc. The lodge was really nice and hot tub great. There is a lot of work going on so the rear of the site is not finished but it means there will be more choice of accommodation for future visits.

Myself and my family have recently got back from a short break at Applegrove Country Park. This was booked via Liz's lodges on facebook. Upon arrival our lodge was lovely and clean with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We enjoyed the rural location of the park but yet within a short drive to Scarborough. We enjoyed a lovely meal at The Three Jolly Sailers which had been recommended to us.
We will definitely return again next year.

Where do I start?? Long story short, the lodge lasted one day as my husband fell through rotten decking next to the hot tub. Despite many, many efforts neither Wowcher or The Black Bull retreat have gotten into dialogue about this, despite many e mails and direct contact. All we have asked for is a refund, despite the fact my husband needed to visit the hospital near the site. So, apart from the fact the site was unsafe, I’d avoid due to the fact the customer service is awful.

Lodge was lovely and clean, well equipped for cooking and a nice touch of a bottle of prosecco and sweets left for us.

Only complaint was we were told there was going to be towels provided and there wasn't (had to run to Argos) and the central heating didn't work so the heating was from the fire place fan.

Hot tub was fab and clean, would definitely recommend to others or return myself now I know to bring my own towels and be prepared for colder nights.

Lodge was lovely had everything we needed for a short stay and was also clean. The filter in the hot tub wasn't changed during our 3 night stay so the last night the water smelled funny and we could not use it. We found the amenities around the lodge lacking. The pub was meant to be open but didn't until our last night and didn't serve food until the weekend. This was not stated on the website. A takeaway menu was in the lodge but it wasn't made clear it was collection only. Places for food were too far away (around 25 mins) so if you go unprepared you will have to travel out of your way. Nice break but wouldn't return.
