Unkept Promises and Disappointments
I am writing to express my extreme frustration with the handling of my extended warranty claim for my movie projector purchased through Nebraska Furniture Mart. I opened a claim on 2/20 after reporting a persistent blue screen and a bulb-related error message. The agent assured me the issue would be resolved quickly, yet I received no communication whatsoever.
On 2/27, after still having no updates, I contacted support again and was told an escalation ticket had been created and that I would be contacted within 2–3 business days. That deadline also passed without any outreach or progress.
Today, 3/5, my claim continues to show as “in progress,” and I have still not received a single promised update. I spoke with Vain, who again stated that the claim was being escalated and would be resolved by Monday. This is now the third time I have been told this, and based on the repeated delays and similar experiences reflected in other customer reviews, I have little confidence that this commitment will be honored either.
When I purchased the projector, it was approximately $1,700. The same model now retails for $2,700, making timely and accurate warranty support all the more critical. I have always purchased extended warranties with the expectation that issues would be handled efficiently and in good faith. Instead, I have received nothing but delays, broken promises, and a complete lack of proactive communication.
I need this matter resolved immediately and favorably. The ongoing runaround is unacceptable.

Hp laptop bought from staples.my son broke in oct in school.screen was broken byt still worked ok.i claimed in October their representative told me to send them ,no need to explain but happened. Mid Dec i dropped it again hardly and it stop working.my son told me to claim again.i had a sticker from October claim because i paid for that 150 for deductible.
i just sent in dec laptop.they denied my claimed says negligence.they didnt even explain me how.i am really pissed with them.they harras me so much.they are still charging till now in Marchi paid 150 plus 11 months 22 bucks every month.they close my claim says not approved.
I have spend money all goes garbage almost 2000 bucks.
Do t go with them .its a torture.

Still not repaired
Technicians came and diagnosed issue with my washer and ordered parts. Parts arrived and I ensured they were in good condition. Technician called and said that he had not received confirmation that my parts had arrived, I informed him that they had. I received a text that a technician would come on 2/16/26 to perform repair, which I confirmed. I then received another text on 2/16/26 at 9:21 am, that due to technician availability that my appointment had been rescheduled to 2/18/26. At 12:03 I received a text that the technician would arrive that day2/16/26. At 12:14 I received a text that stated the technician was on the way. No one came or called, then at 7:15 pm on 2/16/26 I received another text saying that my appointment had been rescheduled to 2/23/26. A few minutes later I received another text saying that my appointment was changed to 2/18/26. I received another text on 2/18/26 confirming my appointment. No one came or called. I received another text on 2/19/26 stating that “ Sears noticed my service date had passed and sent me a link to reschedule, which I did for 2/25/26. On 2/20/26, I received a text that stated my parts had “came sooner “ and that my appointment was rescheduled for 2/23/27 and was confirmed on 2:21/26 via text. I again confirmed the appointment on 2/21/26 and received a text at 7:00 on 2:23/26 that my appointment was confirmed for that day. At 4:04 that afternoon I received a text that said due to technician availability my appointment had been rescheduled to 3/4/26. I have since been notified my repair ticket has been cancelled.

It was really a great experience…
It was really a great experience actually. It was easy and fast. They took care of me with no problems, just fill out the forms on line, and within 3 days I had already heard from them. They send me a gift card because they could not repair my tablet. Which was okay with me. The only thing I didn't understand is why I had to buy another insurance. I thought maybe it would take on from the other one. But it's okay I bought the other insurance and I am in!
Allstate kept their promise!
Filing the claim was easy...Allstate kept me informed of the various steps they had taken to remedy the situation...they fulfilled their promises in taking financial responsibilities.

Two repair calls, neither fixed the problem and within a week or two, Allstate cashed us out for the original cost of the dishwasher. I would have prefered that the dishwasher be fixed but their policy seems to be two calls and done.

A person with Allstate asked a few questions about the problem. We had a tech come out we did have to pay for the tech $100 we were reimbursed that money. Wasn't but two weeks later we had the check for the dishwasher in her hands thank you
Dismal experience with Square Trade Dishwasher repair
Dishwasher and extended warranty purchased at Costco. Dishwasher failed at 4 years, warranty was for 5 years. Sq trade outsources appliance repairs. They work with independent contractors that are known to fall short of quality outcomes. You do not get a repair company with familiar name. First company name given to me had terrible reviews 1 * with BBB complaints and state attorney general complaint . I requested a different company. This was only the beginning of 2 month exercise to finally have a working dishwasher . In hindsight each time you call Square Trade or repair service keep track of date, length of call, get name of person you are speaking with, ticket number of the call. It took me a while to start doing that. It's helpful to have those details. When they say they are escalating your issue to department above them and you will hear back in 2 days call them on day 3. You can then tell them how many times and days ago you've been told this very same thing. Ask to speak with their manager. Continue to get names of person on phone, ticket number and when they will get back to you. I had parts that were to be ordered after the first service. No one actually ever ordered the parts! Call after call they didn't have the parts ordered it was being dealt with by another department... Since the parts are not in they cannot schedule a repair date. When they do not follow through call Costco with the dismal results you are receiving. I made dozens of calls, placed on hold several times per call. There was only one service call made in this entire period at which the tech he said he had to order more parts. Personally I believe he lacked training and didn't know how to fix issue which was a water pump- a common problem. After roughly 6 more weeks they still didn't have the parts. After all that time they decided to not repair machine and issued my purchase price of unit back to me. I doubt this matter would have been resolved had I not kept after them. Perhaps their practice of dragging it on is with the hope you are going to give up and go away. This particular event started 12/23/2025 and I finally have working dishwasher as of 2/23/2026

Technician was efficient and made the repair quickly once the correct parts were sent. Needed a second visit because the correct parts weren't in the first package, but scheduling was fast and easy. Got my washing machine working great again.
