Issue unresolved

Communication was great! Turnaround time was good.

Issue was that as soon as the laptop was returned one of the screws fell out of the hinges within 1 day. The hinge being separated was why we sent it in.

At first Allstate protection was a a good protection plan they help me with several of my claims and the outcome was wonderful! Lately though I've been having issues with my claims because they do not want to replace items they just want to send you your money back but if I bought the item on sale and I want the item replaced oh well I'm sorry we can't do it. I don't want the money back I want the product, I Like the product, well I'm sorry we can't find anything out there that is the same price that you paid so we're just going to give you back your money no I want the item Allstate no we can't do it! Well Allstate and that means that you're not following through with your part of the warranty that you provided. Well that's all we can do! For a multiple you know the company you would think that it was cough up a few dollars just to make the customer happy but oh no can't do it. I guess they see it like this if they don't want the warranty they don't have to buy it they don't like business that will wow! So true though but does also have any moral morale care for the customer I don't know! Does Allstate really care about the customers or just I'll take care about the money! Although I I will continue to keep purchasing the warranty on my products because something is better than nothing. I am however thankful for Allstate and their warranties! I'm just a very unhappy customer now because of a couple of situations that I've had on my claims. This is only one scenario of the 10 claims that I have. Example I purchased a baby wipe warmer for my mother the warmer gave out stop turning on so I put in a claim. They stated that they would replace the item gave me three choices but none of the choices was the same product. So I selected from the three received the product here it is I'm not even a month later and this product has now stopped warming. I called back to you Allstate sorry there is no warranty. So what happens to the other two years on the other product I bought just let it go because I don't have that product anymore?? Well I guess for the price I paid I should just be thankful that I got something right! Wow! I guess I should just be thankful thank you God for what I have!

Theres no point in a protection plan that doesnt protect.

Theres often an excuse why they can't cover something. I used to have to sell it,and people either liked it or hated it. Then I bought it on a TV and I now understand why they hated it. We were sent back and forth between the manufacturer and them multiple times. Both were happy to take our money, neither were interested in standing behind the product. In this case, Allstate decided that we had a software program, despite us reloading the fix from a manufacturer, which changed nothing. They dont cover software programs, so that was their default. No matter how many hrs we spent loading software with no results, they, Allstate, who had never looked at or touched or tried to fix the tv, held tight to the idea that it was a software issue. Why? Because they didn't cover that. I will NEVER trust allstate for coverage again. Worthless protection from a company that decided b4 we called that it wasn't covered.

So much for 29 years of loyalty.

I still don't have a check. I'm being ignored despite replying 3 times and speaking with reps multiple times and they noted what my choice is.

Great experience!

Best protection plan you can buy.

I purchased my favorite Timex watch and it worked great for a while but then I noticed it had the incorrect day and date on the dail but when I tried to correct it nothing moved, so I waited a day to see if it would move itself but it was stuck on the same day and date, I tried again to set it myself but neither would move. I left it sitting on the kitchen table for a few days to see if it would correct itself but nothing. I remembered I had purchased the Allstate Protection Plan and once I notified them of the problem they immediately refunded my money at the discounted rate. I have once again purchased a new Timex watch; I LOVE IT! I also purchased the Allstate Protection Plan again because they are great. I wish more products offered it.
