Just come back from a week in Puglia with Solos. It was my first trip with them and our tour guide Scott went way above and beyond expectation to look after us and make the experience the success it was.
We did have some issues with the hotel which was certainly not Scott’s fault. However he did his best to rectify these wherever possible including swopping rooms with a dissatisfied guest.
He remained kind cheerful funny supportive throughout and proved himself a thoroughly likeable chap who enhanced the holiday experience for us all.

Just back from a Solos holiday in Puglia. Organisation by Solos was excellent as always. The tour leader, Scott was also excellent. He dealt with all problems with calm efficiency and treated all of the group with care and consideration, along with plenty of humour and friendly banter. For me, another lovely holiday with Solos.

Just returned from a fabulous week in Italy on the Solos Puglia’s Hidden Gems tour.
I have been on several holidays with Solos, but this was one of the best, helped in no small part by our wonderful rep Scott.
He was friendly, amusing and well organised. Helped resolve various problems without drama.
The accommodation, the D’Aragona Hotel, was clean and modern, located about 15 minutes walk from the beautiful town of Conversano.
Will definitely book again with Solos, and would be delighted if Scott was our tour leader again. 😀

Just returned from a Solos trip to Puglia. A fantastic trip with a fantastic bunch of people. Our tour leader Scott, was just brilliant. He was caring and considerate to each member of the group as well as having a sense of humour. He took any concerns / issues that we had on board, and dealt with them efficiently. (Including delayed luggage for one person and a lost passport for another!) He made sure we were all where we were meant to be, when we were meant to be, ensuring the trip ran smoothly.
The trip itself, was great, visiting several different towns, exploring quaint little streets and historical places of interest. The Truli houses were amazing (so many of them!) and each town had something different.
This is my second Solos trip and I can’t wait to book the next one.

Just back from my first Solos holiday ‘Puglia Hidden Gems’ our tour guide Scott contributed to the most memorable time. Nothing was too much trouble for him (and there were a few challenges.) He looked after us all with humour, kindness and integrity. Puglia was a wonderful destination and having Scott as our tour leader was the ‘icing on the cake’ I am very much looking forward to my next Solo’s trip.

Scott was a wonderful tour guide: caring, conscientious, funny, and warm. When the group asked for more free time in the towns we visited he passed this on to the local guides. When I nipped into a couple of shops quickly to buy a few souvenirs he waited for me to ensure we did not lose the group. This was my second trip with Solos and I would recommend them to anyone wishing to travel who is without a travel companion. I felt very safe on both trips, and the WhatsApp group is reassuring if you have any issues, it also promotes a sense of community amongst group members. There is no pressure to be sociable if you need some alone time. The only reason I have not given 5 stars is because on my first trip last year (Amalfi coast) the food and hotel were not up to the standard the group hoped for. Having said this, the feedback was taken onboard and the trip has since been altered accordingly. On this holiday to Puglia my only criticisms are: 1) the trip to Brindisi did not add anything to the experience (this was the consensus of the group). I am not sure if we really saw what Brindisi had to offer but it was rushed and many of us felt we would have preferred a full day in Lecce; 2) As someone who is coeliac (gluten free) I was not offered any recommendations about where to eat during our free time, and had to clarify dietary requirements with hotel staff as we ate at the hotel each night. My desserts were often partially inedible as they were frozen and had not been fully defrosted (I’m sure the mimosa sponge would have been lovely if it had not been almost entirely frozen). It’s not a big issue at all but it would have been nice if this had already been clarified with staff and if the meals could be at different places each evening. Overall, a wonderful way to see the world as a solo traveller in a safe group. Thank you.

This was my first Solos holiday after the death of my husband. I was really anxious about travelling and holidaying alone.I needn’t have worried. I met our tour guide Scott Jardine and some of the rest of our tour party at Gatwick airport and I instantly didn’t feel alone. Scott was a friendly funny professional knowledgeable guide. Nothing was too much bother for him. I wouldn’t hesitate to book another holiday with Solos and would be happy to see Scott would be the guide again.

Scott was an amazing tour coordinator. He was on top of all the details and making sure we felt welcomed. He really shinned when there were issues like lost luggage or health issues with such warmth and genuine care.

I have just returned from a fabulous weeks holiday in Santorini. The hotel although basic, was clean and housekeeping was done daily. It is conveniently situated near the beach, bars, restuarant and a bus stop for buses to Fira. Our host Kim was amazing. She went a mile further to ensure everyone had a good time. The staff were also very accommodating.

An amazing holiday. The guides were fantastic and the experiences I will never forget with a wonderful group of people to share it with.

Lovely 2nd visit to Santorini with Solo holiday, excellent accommodation, lovely location.

Kim our host, was lovely and even organised an additional excursion for us all to Oia on Saturday evening (her day off) evening organising an excellent restaurant fir us with a beautiful sunset.

I have just come back from Santorini ( 24th June) the whole holiday experience was brilliant, from chatting on WhatsApp which led to a few of us meeting at the airport before holiday to the relaxing environment of the hotel. Kim was our solos rep and she was excellent, she went out of her way to make sure that everyone was happy and comfortable. I will definitely book with Solos in the future ☺️

This was my first Solos holiday and everything went perfectly. We had a wonderful tour guide who went above and beyond to ensure we had a good holiday. The hotel was ideal, small and close to the beach and restaurants. The group I was with were brilliant we all got on and had great fun. I would definitely book again.

A brilliant holiday in Santorini! Everything about this holiday was pretty perfect. The accommodation, the staff and the organisation of the trips was so good! It’s such a lovely experience as a first time solo holiday which I had 3 years ago ……so good that I have booked my 4th holiday with Solos. Santorini is everything I hoped for and more!

Just returned from a week with Solos Exclusive Halkidiki, the hotel was excellent , clean, good size pool. Our rep Russell Nottingham was friendly and helpful, hotel just a short walk from beach and shops, had a fantastic week and will be definitely booking another holiday

First time on a solos holiday to Hanioti and I loved every minute of it, Russ the tour leader was super helpful and the rest of the group were amazing. The hotel was very clean and comfortable with a lovely pool and snack bar, just a short stroll from the beach and town. I intend to do another solo destination next year but I think this one will be hard to beat.

Just spent an Exclusive Holiday week with Solos in Hanoiti (Halkadiki).
Excellent centrally based - Hotel Nereides.
The Hotel is ran by a very friendly, professional team who looked after all of their guests extremely well.
Our Tour Leader Russell Nottingham was also very friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and good humoured throughout my stay.
He continually mixed with all of the guests ensuring that we were enjoying our stay and if requested he would rectify any issues that were raised to him to the best of his and the Hotel Teams ability and practically.
I am definitely going to return here for another Solos holiday .

Hotel was lovely, staff were helpful and seemed happy in their work. There were a group of people who knew each other but everyone mixed well and all had a good time

2nd Solo’s holiday and still felt nervous excitement on the day of travel. Appreciate the what’s app group with fellow travellers. The welcome from our tour leader Michelle was so warm and I instantly felt relaxed and that I was in safe hands. Everything is well organised and you can do as much or as little as you like, with the benefit of new friends to enjoy the experience with. Added bonus the food was amazing, now deciding where to go for my 3rd solo holiday so thank you 🙏

Just returned to the USA from my first trip to Greece with Solos. It was also my first time traveling to Europe so I was delightfully surprised by my relatively seamless travel experience. Our guide Christine was fantastic ensuring we all had what we needed during our journey. As a first time traveler to the EU I was a bit apprehensive about the journey and being the only American in our group of 4 travelers. Christine was so helpful in diminishing my fears and my newfound friends were very welcoming. We visited the mainland and did some island hopping. The transfers and ferries were seamless and comfortable. The accommodations were very nice and I enjoyed them all despite a leaking air conditioner in one. I took the optional tours which provided an immersive experience. I would have liked more time in the islands; especially Mykonos and Paros. We got a good taste of them and now I know where I’d like to return. The days were packed with great adventures. Being a small group enabled us to easily travel together. The meals we had outside our hotels were magnificent and provided an immersive experience I’ll never forget. Hotel meals were good as well. Christine took care of all the logistics and we just had to show up at the appointed time. There were opportunities to go off on our own or with other members of our group which allowed for an even more personalized experience. My only problem was with the full day tours that lasted 7-9 hours. It would have been nice to have more time at the island hotels to relax by their beautiful pools. Overall it was an amazing experience and has me looking forward to booking another trip with Solos.
