Very quick efficient service with a real person (Sean) straight away! Gave me helpful additional information relevant to my query and only after her had helped me with what I needed. Very quick, polite and showed speed and care with the task.

Skipton sent a lovely box of goodies when I moved in and really helpful during the off chance’s that I’ve needed to contact them.

However, I probably wouldn’t have set up with Skipton if I knew that they aren’t currently on Sprive.

I have been with Skipton Building Society for many years. Throughout this time, I have been incredibly impressed by the values of the organisation. Skipton employees are incredibly responsive and whenever you call you get a real person. I cannot recommend Skipton more highly.

I made a error in filling our a Members form and the

1 star for having decent interest rates. 4 stars deducted for having the worst customer service. After a glitch with the website I had a long conversation with a customer service agent. Very polite and 'helpful' or so I thought. Went through the changes I wanted to make, he was struggling but promised to get it sorted. He rang later and said all sorted and would be completed in a few days. Since then Nothing!
Rang, more promises.
Email sent. Nothing!
Secure message sent. Nothing! Complaint sent. Nothing!!!!
How can you think that ignoring customers is ok?

I do not want to use an app so will await further instructions dirct fromthe Sksipton by letter.

Initially kept being logged out. Following an online chat with them I informed them they need to make their software/website more flexible to the users.
Following this chat I have now been barred from logging in using their app despite having an account with them for many years. Unbelievable.

It was efficient, and I dealt with a human being. If it wasn't a human being, it was an amazing AI!

My wife and I are eight years old. She has a ISA due for renewal with the Skipton building society. We try to renew it over the phone we were unfortunate to get put through to a proper jobs worth we went through security we were failed because I answered the amount of money in the account instead of my wife as she didn’t have her glasses on. I am now moving my account to the nationwide because of her ignorance and not being helpful to old people

I have been with Skipton for more than 7 years as a mortgage customer. My mortgage deal is due for renewal in November. As a result I logged into the skipton site to look at changing my product. The choice of deal was not great and the interest rate offered was over 1% higher than the Skipton rates on Money Supermarket. I used the chat function to ask why this was, after 20 minutes I get a response that ‘rates change’ no explanation whatsoever. This appears to be an attempt at charging existing customers higher rates on renewal.

I seriously question why I should use this company, if this is their tactic to fleece existing customers. I also won’t bother to use the chat facility again, it is slow, unfit for purpose, and terrible at responding.

I have left bad reviews recently about the appalling new app and being unable to use Skipton Online due to the new security features....

Your technology is and remains appalling Skipton (especially the new app....)

I joined Skipton in 1999/2000 due to people like her in your Leeds branch who were so welcoming when I walked in off the street to open an account.

So, people first class... technology not....

Excellent UK based customer service team. I left my number and they phoned back within the stated time. Sorted my issue.
