SendOwl is a cost-effective, simple payment platform that works reliably. It’s been a pleasure to work with their support team. They’ve always been quick to respond when help was needed, although there have only been a couple of times I needed help, as the platform is very easy to use. Highly recommended.

We've been using Sendowl for years to sell our digital products and everything has been great. Pricing is fair and their support goes out of their way to help!

I am new to SendOwl and it's unlike the other digital product delivery systems I've used, so there has been quite a significant learning curve and a lot of questions.

The ability to ask questions by email and have them answered (usually within 24 hours) was a great benefit to me. The people with whom I corresponded were courteous and patient throughout the process and I received excellent suggestions for every question I asked.

I've just switched to SendOwl after nearly 4 years of using Selz. It's been the best move I have made regarding selling digital content. I really like how I can customize every detail of the buying process for the customer... the upsells... and not to mention the fantastic customer support.

I have been using SendOwl for aroung 5 years now and they have never let me down.
It is a super simple solution for people selling digital goods.
For me it works seemless and whenever I reach out for support, I receive quite fast and helpful answers.

I use SendOwl to sell my digital products and have been doing so for a few years. I was previously using Gumroad, which is also a good service. But at the time I switched, it was a bit cheaper for me to sell through SendOwl and they offered more features than Gumroad. I find their customer service very responsive too, which I appreciate.

When I first started my online business and I had no idea how to sell my digital products, SendOwl was the only choice. Within a few minutes, I was able to be up and running. Plus, if I ever had any trouble support was only an email away.

I have used SendOwl for 4+ years and have been very pleased with their efficient system of delivery. I chose them because they offer ID stamping on the PDF's that I sell. Their Knowledge base is awesome and extensive.

SendOwl meets my needs as a merchant of digital goods and services for over 3 years now. Great support staff, recently they even updated some things in the looks department that make it feel more fresh and up to date.

For the future:
The only thing I really miss 'out of the box' is an option to embed the form straight into the sales page for my website. Now it opens in a popup or takes the viewer to a new page.

I've been using SendOwl since 2017 to sell MP3s for my podcast, Literature and History (literatureandhistory.com). I'm puzzled by all of these bad reviews, because as a merchant, the service has been totally flawless. It's easy to use, reasonably priced, and I sell a lot of GB of products every month there.

I'm afraid that some of these angry reviews are due to purchasers who are blaming the service (SendOwl) for negligent content providers (like musicians or podcasters) who aren't replying to emails, or configuring the file distribution service correctly for their own customer bases. SendOwl is just a file distribution service, and in my experience, it works perfectly. Once in a while you'll get a customer who's not very computer literate and doesn't know how to download files, or move them into different file folders, but good grief, that's not the distribution service's fault, and SendOwl makes it INCREDIBLY easy to issue refunds, give discount codes, and otherwise help these folks out.

So, as a merchant with literally thousands of satisfied customers who have used this simple service, it's outstanding. Again, go to my website (above) and you can see how I have Bonus Content set up for sale - SendOwl is great!

Not serious, do not trust them. Makes promises that they won't keep, hiding behind "well our business partner is no longer here and it's their job to help you, not ours". Basically pretends to be a reliable source of software, but they aren't, so take your business somewhere else to someone that cares more about their customers.

A poor content delivery network that evidently is not up to the task of providing reliable delivery for files taking several minutes, such as 2 or 3GB over typical UK fibre speeds. I experienced multiple download fails, which tended to get counted as a download even though they hadn't completed, and attempts to resume a partial download were usually rejected with a forbidden server response. I resorted to downloading to a cloud server instead, which succeeded due to the much higher bandwidth, and then downloading from the cloud server to local. I wouldn't want this hassle in the future so am unlikely to order anything else from the company who used SendOwl, and strongly recommend looking elsewhere if selecting a service to handle your digital downloads.
