The team of the Rebecca Adventure Travel did a great job in planning our trip, accomodating all our wishes, and supporting us on site in Ecuador. Thanks to them and their contacts with local providers and guides, we could visit Quito with the super nice guide Guillermo, spend a few days as guests of the very friendly Kichwa community of the Napo Cultural Centre (and the great naturalist guides Sergio and Chayan), and finally use to the maximum every minute of our trip to the Galapagos islands. On every step of the planning, we could count on the responsiveness of Juan Carlos and his colleagues. Then, when already in Ecuador, we could contact the Rebecca team at any moment and we got regular updates from them. We felt absolutely secure and well taken care of all the time! Everything worked perfectly well and according to the plan.
The highlights of our trip were the Amazon rainforest and the Anangu community in the Napo Cultural Centre, and the Galapagos islands hopping. We met people who lived in harmony with nature and who respected it and were very proud of their home. In the jungle, we saw more animals than we could dream of: tucans, macaws, monkeys, parrots, sloths, leaf-cutter ants and more. In the Galapagos islands, we walked among tortoises, iguanas, lizards and sea lions, we swam and snorkeled with turtles, pinguins, rays, sharks and plenty of colourful fish, and we admired frigatebirds, warblers, blue-footed and Nazca boobies, pelicans, tropicbirds and more. It was all amazing and exceeded our expectations. From the practicalities, we liked that all day trips were arranged with certified local operators, the hotels were often family-run businesses, and that everything was safe, started on time and went according to plan. We also liked that although the days were intense, we had some nice rest time too and we could explore e.g. Puerto Villamil on our own.

The whole trip was exquisitely organized. Our tour guide in Peru, Danny, was hands down the best part of our trip. My daughter had her birthday during the trip and Danny organized a celebration at a restaurant as a surprise, with a birthday cake and singing!

There was much to love about Ecuador, Rebecca, and especially Chris, our guide. I will be posting more at TripAdvisor. In summary, the nightly accommodations were wonderful, Ecuador is beautiful, Ecuadoreans are generally lovely people, and the trip planning made a somewhat ambitious kind of sense. The ambition went a bit over the top for us, though. The extensive driving on rough, curvy roads added a level of hardship that contributed to us having to cut our visit short. I must add that Chris and the Rebecca staff moved heaven and earth to get us home early both safely and comfortably. But we wonder what might have been had the ground travel been more relaxed, even at the expense of perhaps missing a highlight or two. That said, the one of us who has more endurance for such travel and the unrelenting elevation plans to return, to use Rebecca for planning, and especially to request Chris as a guide.

Chris was a great guide. The accommodations were beautiful and excellent. People were friendly everywhere we went. We felt very safe.

Working with Rebecca Adventure Travel to create a custom trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos was such a wonderful experience. The entire team is knowledgeable about every detail from restaurants to hotels and tours and their guides are so knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. We loved our entire trip and will definitely be back soon!

Rebecca Adventure Travel provided excellent customer service from the first moment of our vacation right through to the last. The options provided to us as novice travelers to the Galapagos Islands were first rate. We always had an English speaking guide available for every adventurous outing. We were able to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and the abundant wild life the islands had to offer. Our vacation was catered to our exact specifications. Rebecca Travel provided daily updates via text message. So we were never left wondering what was in store and we could focus entirely on our adventure in Galapagos. We've already decided we are going back to Galapagos and we are ABSOLUTELY using Rebecca Adventure Travel again. Highly recommended!

We safely returned home on February 8, Thursday, and we wanted to express our gratitude for your team's excellent support during our stay in Ecuador. I've provided daily feedback, and now I'd like to share our overall thoughts to assist in enhancing your operations in the future.

Coordination/Communication: The daily plan communicated through WhatsApp was highly effective. Your coordination with the hotel was commendable, except for a minor glitch on Day 13 during the Los Tuneles Snorkeling Tour. The discrepancy in pickup timings between the hotel manager's information (7:15 AM) and your communication (7:30 AM) and snorkeling gear pickup caused confusion. Clarifying such details in advance would prevent similar situations.

Accommodations: Overall, we were satisfied with the accommodations, with the exception of San Vicente. Rating it as a 3-star establishment might be misleading. The disappointing breakfast and lack of Wi-Fi in the room were drawbacks. On the positive side, the staff at iKala were friendly. The facilities at Suchipakari seemed less maintained, possibly attributed to the challenges posed by the recent pandemic.

Transportation: All transportation, including air travel, was generally good to excellent. Coordination was well-executed.

Tour Agenda: We enjoyed the planned itinerary, with one small recommendation. Consider omitting the Intiñan Equator Museum from future itineraries. The Coriolis force demonstration, given its proximity to the equator line, seemed staged and not scientifically accurate. This is a minor issue, but skipping it might enhance the overall experience.

Flexibility: Thank you for accommodating the numerous changes we requested throughout our schedule. Your flexibility greatly contributed to our positive experience.

Transparency: While we understand the necessity of covering costs and ensuring a proper profit, sharing cost differences with a clear markup would provide greater transparency. This information would help us better understand and appreciate the value of the services provided.

We genuinely enjoyed our trip and are hopeful for another opportunity to utilize your services in the future. Wishing you continued success.

Rebecca Travel made our Ecuadorian adventure easy and painless. With all the tours, excursions, transfers and last minute requests, Rebecca was prompt, courteous and focused on making sure we had a great trip!

The tour to Cusco and Machu Picchu was absolutely amazing and well-organised. We saw ancient ruins and enjoyed beautiful views. The guides were very informative, and the food was delicious. It was an incredible adventure that I will never forget.

Together with my boyfriend I did the 11- day hidden treasures Colombia tour and I can say that it‘s one of the most unique experiences I ever had. We chose for a planned tour just for more comfort. The communication was great and clear. We started in Bogota, where a transfer was already waiting for us at the Airport. The hotels were all very well picked. The communication stayed very active, the people from Rebecca Adventure Travel updated us on the planning and of we had any questions we got a quick response. The highlights of this tour can definitely be called highlights. My favourite part was Medellin and Cartagena. Definitely a recommendation!

Our travel was during a state of emergency in Ecuador. Rebecca was proactive in offering us alternatives to our original plans.

Communications were excellent, especially with changes in our flight times and their ability to accommodate our changes.

Pickup times were prompt with guides and drivers with good English language skills.

Agenda was well planned and well paced. Guides and drivers were punctual and friendly. Guides were knowledgeable with good English language skills. We felt very safe despite the news of unrest in Ecuador just prior to our departure. Very good value for the cost. I would recommend Rebecca Travel Adventures to anyone considering a trip to Ecuador. One comment is that I would consider an agenda for the Galapagos that would involve a stay on a couple of islands, likely Santa Cruz and another, to allow visitors to see a multitude of things without having to take such long boat rides (1.5 to 2 hours.)

Perfectly personalised trip in the top segment with perfect execution while we were there!

Prior to the trip, during planning phase, the coordination/communication was good, followed up until the details were finalized. Some little things were missed, for ex. we had requested to exclude kayaking keeping older folks in the group in mind, but it was scheduled anyway, transportation from our boarding to the airport for the final leg was missed. Adding/making last min changes proved to be expensive but there are local Uber etc. so it wasn’t a huge problem.
Having English speaking experienced guides throughout the snorkeling trip and Charles Darwin/quito tours was great. We missed one activity due to excessive fog near the pululahua crater.
One thing we struggled with was hopping 2 islands over the 5-days had a very packed schedule with early start each morning. With a group of 7 including kids and seniors, it was a bit stressful.

The whole tour was very well organized with guides present on time to transport us to the next destination on schedule. Main office was easy to communicate with if we had any questions. Recommended itinerary was perfect for what we needed to see. First class operation , highly recommended.
