Rebecca and the team sourced me a Lapierre part that was discontinued and the official Lapierre replacement part was an awful replica. Rebecca did not have to, but went above and beyond to find... Zobacz więcej

Very disappointed in Raleigh
Very disappointed in Raleigh, and you think names still stand for something they clearly don't. I ordered a bicycle for my daughter's birthday; it arrived in an open box with multiple points of damage and missing items. It's an absolute disgrace. After phoning them to tell them I've refused the delivery due to the state of the packaging and the bicycle itself, they tell me it will take another six days to send a replacement, so my daughter won't receive her birthday present in time. So thanks a lot to whoever decided to throw the box around; I hope you're proud of yourself. You've ruined a little girl's birthday, and there wasn't even an offer of a different delivery service to speed things up. I even offered to pay; your customer service is terrible. Raleigh used to mean something, the reason I purchased there in the first place, but it seems it's the same as everywhere else these days: a scam, money-grabbing, with no care for customers.
Raleigh Array awful quality!
Brought a Raleigh array bike in Jan and had nothing but issues. Fair enough with wear and tear on brakes etc you can get fixed, but bolts have been dropping off left right and centre. Also my back wheel is buckled to hell and I only ride 10-15 mins to work. The back tyre has also stretched and ripped. Absolute terrible build quality! Wished I never touched this bike now and invested in a cube or something.
Poor quality bike
We took delivery of a Raleigh chopper which cost £999 and nowhere near worth it. It arrived with no pedals and the chain guard hanging off and chipped paintwork. So I rang Raleigh up and the answer was take some pictures and send to them and they will look into it. So I said I will return it for a refund and they didn’t care or apologise. I will not be purchasing anything from Raleigh again
Best Customer Service Ever !!!
With even the best engineering in the world, sometimes things go wrong and that is when good companies shine and bad companies get really bad reviews.
In the case of Raleigh/Haibike after 12 months we had an unfortunate manufacturing issue. Raleigh/Haibike customer service namely Rebecca Houlden, was exceptional in organising collection of the bike, tracking its return, liaising with the retailer and organising a refund.
Raleigh may be a bike manufacturer and retailer but they provide a Rolls Royce level of service both in sales and aftersales service to its customers.
It is very rare to say this but even though we had an unfortunate issue Raleigh/Haibike were very quick indeed to put things right. From my much prized Retro Raleigh Chopper to cutting edge E Bikes this company has not lost its edge.
Buy with confidence knowing that Raleigh/Haibike and Rebecca Houlden and the whole team will fix problems not cause them.
Fingers crossed for a retro-Raleigh Grifter in Red.
Thank you to everyone at Raleigh excellent customer service is what sets you apart from the rest.
Thanks again to Rebecca
Very Best

Very poor quality
Very poor quality. The bicycles look nice but after a short time things start to fall apart. And not just in a poorly bolted together but the metal is just terrible quality. Within 6 month the bracket that hold up the mud guard had eroded away. On the other bicycle the M8 bolt holding up the saddle snapped in half while riding. It's a shame they make their bikes from such poor materials.
Superb
Superb, one of the world’s oldest and most trusted bicycle brands, ordered a Chopper mk4 online which was delivered in perfect condition and is a spectacular machine, stunning in every way and fantastic workmanship, a credit to the company.
Horrendous customer service
Bought the bike online for my daughter’s birthday, with 2 weeks notice. Details on the website and the confirmation says the lead time is 3-5 business days and there will be a confirmation email when dispatched. Over a week had passed and it was now the Monday of the following week (9 days since order), I contacted through the website to ask for an update.
My daughter’s birthday was the upcoming Saturday and I was keen to know that the bike would be arriving. I was told that there had been delays in the factory (this was the first we were told) and the bike would be dispatched on the Wednesday. At this point I asked if I could pay for expedited delivery as it was cutting it fine for it to arrive. I was reassured by customer service that the bike would be dispatched on the Wednesday and it would arrive either Thursday or Friday.
On Thursday, I contacted again as I had still not received any delivery details. This time I was told that the delivery company (DX) have not been communicating to customers but the bike was definitely dispatched on Wednesday.
On the Friday, I called the customer service team keen to find out if the bike would be arriving for my daughter’s birthday. This is now nearly 2 weeks since the order. I was told on the phone that the bike was in fact dispatched on Thursday and it’s a 48 hour delivery service, therefore it wouldn’t be arriving until the Monday (after my daughter’s birthday).
I pleaded with the customer service team to see if there was anything that could be done, including (again) me offering to pay for next day delivery. I was told this couldn’t be done as the bike was set for a two man delivery and would therefore be delivered on Monday. The bike was not delivered by two men so this was yet another lie.
The bike eventually arrived, however you get no tools provided to put it together, despite the instructions saying that you do.
I have complained to Raleigh in email and asked for a call regarding the issue, nearly a week has passed since I complained and I have had no reply and no phone call which is outright rude.
The customer service and lack of communication regarding the order is horrendous, I was truly disappointed that I have been lied to continuously and would certainly not be buying another bike through them again.
Great services. Great bike
My bike arrived, but had been damaged in transit. I called Customer Service, and Rebecca was so helpful. The damaged bike got collected and the new bike arrived today, undamaged. The bike is perfect for me. Great service from Raleigh.
Fantastic customer service
Fantastic customer service from Becky on Raleigh's sales team. I had some questions when ordering online, rang - got straight through to Becky -an actual human being! All questions answered, some emails exchanged (with incredibly swift and helpful responses) and all faultless. Thanks so much!
Ordered my son a bike for Christmas
Ordered my son a bike for Christmas. It arrived half assembled. While assembling the rest of the bike the gears and brake had been pre assembled the wrong way round so you couldn't use the brake without it hitting the gear switch. It was put on so tight I couldn't take it off to fix the issue myself. I then had to drive to a Raleigh bike shop to get the issue fixed which was very frustrating to then be charged £40 for their mistake when collecting the bike. Customer service between Raleigh and myself was poor and pretty useless. Raleigh then didn't want to return my £40 as they hadn't talked to the bike shop as wasn't their responsibility apparently! I was constantly chasing Raleigh and not an experience I will doing again. Avoid at all costs.
Appreciation for the Professionalism and Passion of the Lapierre Team
I would like to express my gratitude and appreciation for the support I received from the team at Lapierre. I needed some details regarding a component on my bike, and I received more answers than I expected, which makes me believe that the people working there are truly passionate and go above and beyond to satisfy their customers.
I would especially like to thank Rebecca, who was my direct contact and provided me with all the information I needed. Thank you once again, and keep up the great work!
Best regards,
Vasile
Missing bolt on new Raleigh Chopper
I contacted Raleigh as I noticed on my last bike ride I’d lost a nut and bolt from my chain guard on my recently purchased Raleigh Chopper which I treated myself to as never allowed one in the 70’s I’m now 56 and am thrilled, anyway they said straight away they would post them out to me no quibbles
Fantastic Chopper! Even better customer service!!
I purchased two 2024 Raleigh choppers online. I had a few teething problems and one had to be returned for an exchange. Over the last month or so I’ve made contact several times either on the phone or via email and every single time I received excellent service. All the team in the customer service department were attentive, polite, nothing was too much trouble and above all very patient with me ( I’m a bit of a perfectionist and probably a bit more fussy than some ) that said I was always left feeling like a valued customer. Since Covid the world has become very different indeed and to find a company here in the UK that has such excellent customer service skills, with a telephone number were you speak to a actual person within minutes or seconds of dialling is very reassuring indeed!
Buy from Raleigh and you get the reassurance of back up and after sales care and support!
Can’t thank or praise Raleigh enough.
Would highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Fantastic Bike and Customer Support
I cannot praise Rayleigh enough for the quality of their bikes and the fantastic customer care they provide (should anything go wrong).
When the bike I ordered for my wife arrived with some damage (likely caused during delivery) Rayleigh customer support quickly arranged for it to be picked up and new bike to be provided.
They were very polite and professional and efficient in handling things, from the first phone call when it was reported to responding to subsequent mails. Things can always go wrong, but I judge a company by how they handle things when they do. I cannot fault Rayleigh in this aspect.
I should point out that before purchasing a bike from Rayleigh I looked into buying a bike from Halfords, but due to the poor customer experience I had I decided not to and turned to Rayleigh (and I am so glad I did).
If you buy Rayleigh you can be sure you are buying a quality bike safe in the knowledge that should anything go wrong their fantastic customer support will be there to help you out.
Poor quality control & shocking cust. services. AVOID!
Bought a Raleigh Pioneer Trail Low step via Winstanleys Bikes (who will be getting a separate review) only to find parts included in the package were not for my model of bike and don't fit. Broken rear mudguard struts. No way to attach front mudguard as forks are not the same as detailed in the online instruction video. No basic assembly instructions. No tools included - I have had to order these separately online. Raleigh are NOT INTERESTED. They say that as I bought it from 3rd party retailer it is basically not their problem - as if the 3rd party retailer is responsible for manufacturing and including incompatible parts!
Shocking customer services. I will never buy a Raleigh bike again which is a loss for Raleigh as it will be Christmas soon. I'm glad I found out in time for that!
Never buy a Raleigh
My seat post broke on my 2020 Stowaway in April 2024 so I ordered a new seat post May 2024, it's October 2024 now but part still hasn't arrived. I can't use my bike until I get this replacement part. Every time I ring the shop the expected delivery date is put back by another 4 weeks! I phoned Raleigh customer service and they came across as uncaring and unsympathetic. In fact they just blamed it on the manufacturer and told me I'd have to wait like everyone else. Will never buy another Raleigh bike again.
Update - It's May 2025 and still waiting! Absolutely awful company.
Do not buy an electric bike from…
Do not buy an electric bike from raleigh or a raleigh approved dealer, they treat you like dirt, they're customer service staff don't have a clue what they're talking about most of the time and if you have a fault with your bike, good luck trying to source raleigh specific parts because i have now been waiting 17 weeks for a particular part which keeps being delayed. I shall be contacting claims court to get this bike refunded. Very misleading "NOTTINGHAM ENGLAND" Logo on the bike suggesting they are a British brand with a warehouse in England, so if you have issues it should be simple enough to order parts .
This is a total lie. Anything from Raleigh that is not BOSCH now comes from China with extraordinarily long wait times. Save yourself the hassle, frustration and time wasting and DO NOT BUY A BIKE FROM A INCAPABLE COMPANY THAT IS VERY CLOSE TO GOING BUST
Never again
I bought a bike online from Raleigh UK, although it was brand new & boxed, the paintwork was chipped & badly done. More concerning was the chain going from very tight to very loose as the pedals went round one revolution! Raleigh were not interested in this dangerous fault, but accepted that the paintwork was unacceptable & offered me a full refund if I returned the bike. Well, they’ve had it back for almost 2 weeks & no sign of my refund, all they will say is that they have 14 days from receiving it back to refund me, what has happened to this once admired company?
Poor quality and poor customer service
We bought a bike a few months ago, not only did the seat fall off, but also the inner tube failed. However, Raleigh claimed that the inner tube was not covered under warranty. For a bike which is only a few months old, those failures proved how bad the quality Raleigh bikes is.
