This is a very important innovation. It provides access to initial capital raising that would not normally be available to retail as well as some that might be through your broker. The app is simple enough though I have had some problems with payments on occasion. The amounts it is possible to invest are relatively small but must be placed in an investment account (not ISA or SIPP). This process has worked well so far. There is very little information about the issues so you need to do your own research. However, this is probably always advisable! I have used this app extensively and will continue to do so. One aspect I am unclear on is protection if the company fails after you have paid to subscribe to an issue. However, as the sums involved and outstanding are relatively small I have not pursued this question so, caveat emptor.

I used PrimaryBid for the first time a few weeks ago. It was efficient, effective and easy to use. I will most certainly use it again.

The app is easy to use, shares have always been deposited into my sharedealing account without any problems. It would be nice if the ap showed a little more detail about past transactions e.g. the date of the transaction and (if the application was scaled back) the number of shares allocated.

I recently joined PB to get access to new issues. The process to join was very smooth. In addition taking the first step to buy a new issue was great all the way from the announcement through to the transfer of stock to broker. The announcement was the first news before I heard on any other channel. Funding was easy to do. And I was updated through the process. A great experience.

Easy to use app with a clear model quick and easy payments interface and prompt addition of investments to my stockbroking account. Really like how PB is giving small investors access to fund raises which might otherwise have been restricted to institutions at high fees and share price discounts.
