What a great week we had at Potters Hopton on Sea with our grown up Children and grandchildren. From start to finish we enjoyed all the fun and games, food, drink and entertainment. Potters you didn’t disappoint! Our son hoped it would be just like he remembered it for his 2 kids when he first visited in 2002 and it was, but even better! If you want a place to make memories then Potters is it.

I like you get your allotted restaurant and table for through out your stay. Think the food on the buffet/carvery could have been better where replenishment is concerned any waiting for plates not checked in We had an amazing stay in May this year where the food quality was brilliant but within 3 months my husband and I feel this has fallen. We stayed in the village rooms in May and the hotel this time which was July and both rooms were good. The carpet needs replacing in the corridor which runs from the restaurant through to the bar and lounges bit uneven in places. The outside activity areas are good but the equipment you use to connect the plungers to the dart board need replacing and the bean bags need new ones as well.
We will be trying the Hilton one hopefully next year at some time and see how we go.

love 5 lakes. 5th time we have been. all the staff are friendly, entertainment team are brilliant, all very approachable. the shows are fantastic. the meals are superb. cant wait to get back there.

First time ever visiting Potters. We booked Five Lakes as we were a group of 8 adults who meet up once a year.
Upon arrival we were happy to see a lovely site, clean and modern.
The set up here is great. Plenty of activities, entertainment and you never get bored! At first when we booked, we felt it expensive as was £1200 pound a couple for the 3 nights. However, we then realised what great value it is! Everything is inclusive, apart the spa, golf and some drinks( cocktails) you have to pay extra for.
Food was excellent, staff were lovely, entertainment was great!
Overall, all 8 of us were happy and had a great time!
Would highly recommend!!

We had a lovely weekend, again, at Potter’s Hopton on Sea this July. So much to do, so much to eat, so much to drink and so little time. Totally All Inclusive. This is why we keep coming back.

The staff are so friendly and welcoming and call you by your name. The rooms are clean and a nice size. Facilities are brilliant, activities are in abundance. Finally the entertainment: shows are of a very high standard; the ents staff are extremely talented. Always 5*from me!

Went in May 2026 and all was good except the pre show from 8 to 9pm. Went again in July and standards in restaurant was poor, overcooked food empty pans, no plates etc. Also same pre show rubbish. Will not return until standards improve.

Lovely weekend break at Potters, Hopton on Sea. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the action packed weekend. It is very difficult to choose any one thing that made this such a good weekend. The food, entertainment and general friendly atmosphere all made a fantastic break and we cannot wait to return. Thank you to all the very hardworking staff, who, without exception, were a pleasure to spend the weekend with. Hope to see you all again before too long.

All the staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. There is always lots to do or relax and get pampered if you prefer. The entertainment in absolutely brilliant

Out first stay at Potters at Hopton on Sea last year was so fantastic that we just had to book again.
We enjoyed another wonderful mid week break and are ready to book for next year. From checkin to departure, Potters provides everything for your holiday. Food, staff, entertainment, activities are all second to none. We loved the crazy golf, shuffle board, bingo, kurling, rifle shooting, archery etc. There is something for everyone and we even made more friends.

Easy booking. All staff very friendly from the bottom to the top. Very good value for money - all inclusive, delicious food, all drinks including tea and coffee, indoor and outdoor activities, wellbeing , shows.

Visited Potters at Hopton for over 10 years and enjoyed every visit, even when the weather isn't the best. Lots to do and plenty of food. Staff and entertainment are great.

Potters is amazing all staff are very helpful and very polite nothing to much trouble for any of them,food is amazing plenty to do in the day and entertainment in the evening is wonderful a great place to be I will be back in December for a short break can’t wait thank you to all the amazing staff what you do you should be very proud of yourself what you do you all work so hard

Marvelous time at Potters,lots to do plenty of entertainment,food amazing,staff were wonderful,beautiful place ,looked after so well,cannot wait to go again hopefully for 5 days instead of 3 everything amazing,we had a great time.location beautiful,staff couldnt do enough for us,just book it you wont be dissapointed.
