I have rarely written a review. This company is excellent above and beyond what would normally be expected. I can’t recommend them highly enough for plants and customer care

Great cherry tree, arrived in perfect condition, very pleased with Pomona Fruits.

Found Pomana on a google search researching growing blueberries. Was impressed with the information provided. Purchased two blueberry bushes which were delivered more quickly than estimated. Very impressed about how well the plants were packed and protected. Some misunderstanding over a growing booklet, but sent a pdf on request. Will consider ordering again if I can make a success of my blueberry bushes...

Such a great company and excellent customer service. My first order was 12 strawberry plants. They arrived fast, healthy with large root balls and some grean leaves. By mistake they sent only eleven. By that time I had made a new order of another lot of strawberry plants. I wrote an email about the missing plant and they promptly, no questions asked, sent extra 2 plants with my second order. Again, plants were healthy with large roots and some leaves. Excellent company and I will order from then again with pleasure and confidence!!

Excellent customer service, no quibble exchange would shop again and can easily recommend.

I ordered a bare root plum tree. As with all bare root trees, it is a little bit up in the air when they will arrive due to the various effects of the weather but this was clearly stated before ordering.

A nice healthy looking tree arrived and was well packaged in a cardboard box. Although the roots were wrapped in plastic to prevent drying, no further superfluous plastic was used. Lovely.

Lose a star because delivery was by Yodel and completely awful.

After another company badly let me down by cancelling my order at the last minute, I thought I was up a certain creek without a paddle. However, I saw Pomona still had a couple of bare root apple trees in stock of the variety we were after. They arrived at the very end of the bare root season (but I did order them halfway through March!) and went in straight away. Looking strong and healthy. Will definitely use again for a few more bits next winter.

Dreadful company! Placed an order for a tomato crop booster frame and poly tunnel(£60) over 12 days ago, got delivered today a bag of plant feed 😳.
Contacted their not so great customer service explained what had been delivered she took my number and said she would call back after checking to see what's happened.
6hrs later I'm back on the phone talking to a different person being told they tried to call three times on a totally different number 🙄! After a lot of bs I've told them I want a full refund 😡
Dreadful company will never use these again!

After 5 days I'm still waiting to see my refund!

Nice follow up from the MD of Pomona. So tell me why I should give you more than one star???
9 days to deliver an incorrect item which was clearly labelled for the someone else.
Gave you my works mobile number to get back to me but yet you say you called 3 times a number which was having technical issues so you would have got a dead tone???
My return phone call was answered by someone different who was more interested in getting the incorrect item returned ie asking if I had a printer so I could print out a label and drop it off at a postal centre or sending out a postage label (which I'm still waiting for).
Nothing was said about posting out a replacement asap I hot the sense from your customer service(male) you were waiting to hear back from the other person who had my parcel so it could be shipped back to yourselves then posted out to me??? So again more waiting time for something that if your staff done their jobs correctly these issues wouldn't happen.
As with refund my account still says paid, nothing about a refund so I'll wait till the end of the week then check my bank account.

If I could leave zero stars I would! Thanks for nothing Pomona 👎

Ordered late in the season due to the Chris Bowers debacle. Got in at the last minute for bare root fruit bushes. the blackcurrants are bare root and the gooseberries and redcurrants were in pots. Also 2 potted blueberries. All plants well packed and in good condition arrived four weeks after placing my order (the website states 5 - 6 weeks). Will use Pomona fruits again in the future. Thank you.

I ordered 3 things from Pomona - each arrived separately ( at the correct time for planting) were perfectly packed and in wonderful condition.
I will definitely buy from them again.

I have bought twice from Pomona.
On both occasions I've been delighted.
First with a hard to find Japanese plum.
It was healthy and happy with a great shape.
When buying hedging plants I was astonished with the size and vitality if the young trees supplied.
Always arriving with a useful fruit care guide.

I ordered a fig tree for my brothers 60th and wasn’t sure it would arrive on time so I emailed Pomona and they said they would do everything they could to have it arrive on time. It did. The tree was fantastic the service was amazing and their contact was speedy. Thank you so much have already ordered a dwarf almond tree for myself xx

Received medium Veg Trug, little apprehensive about having to assemble ourselves, both being in our 70’s. Absolutely no need to worry, instructions extremely good and easy to follow, majority had already been assembled just needed screwing or bolting together.
The Veg Trug is really well made and looks attractive.
When I phoned upon delivery to explain due to living in Scotland and snow on the ground would not be unpacking immediately the response could have not been more helpful, really polite and reassuring.
Also replied promptly to an email regarding capacity.

Ordered a fig tree for Mother's Day. Despite having a waiting list of orders Pomona went out of their way to get it there on time.
Beautiful healthy tree too.

I recently ordered some cordon fruit trees. They have arrived and I am delighted with them. They are bigger than I was expecting and arrived in good condition. My neigbours have all commented on how nice they look.

I ordered 2 vines for the back south facing wall. The packing was the best i have had from any nursery garden. The plants were in good condition and it also contained a planting instruction book. I will plant them out this week and hope to do a review later in the year on the outcomes.

Patio Raspberry 'Ruby Beauty' (3 litre pot) x 2

I am writing regarding the above order which was delivered on Friday 5 Feb.

I have to say I am more than a little disappointed with these plants. I had thought that being in 3 litre pots would mean that the plants would be reasonably well established. Instead I find that you have delivered immature single stem plants little more than 6” high.

They have clearly been recently transferred from smaller pots as you can still see the outline of the original compost.

Furthermore, they are not even in the advertised 3 ltr pots; they are in 2 ltr pots.

Whilst I understand that illustrations in catalogues always show the best outcome, and of course the growing season for raspberries has not really started, I do feel that your website does not give the full picture and therefore misrepresents the product that the customer will eventually receive. I do not believe what you have delivered represents value for money.

Whilst I will persevere with these plants, I think highly unlikely that I would recommend Pamona Fruits.

We have received three items that resemble Apple trees.
We asked for STEP OvEr TREES
One of the plants is five feet tall.
One other is too thick to bend into stopover shape .
The third may be able to be encouraged to grow horizontally
All in all very disappointing
Please send our money back and we will return our delivery

Subject to my previous review where I note today the director of the business has ridiculed my complaint, been argumentative and defensive. We could all be like this however having noted the response I did receive a phone call from a gentleman the day before who after a lot of heated discussion kindly offered me a replacement of the berry plants.
Perhaps it might be prudent in future not to question the integrity of customers, Offer judgement or undermine someone’s ability to assess plants received.
Thank you for resolving my complaint.
