PESSIMO SERVIZIO! Mi sono iscritta per fare il test b2 di inglese e non andava la piattaforma "OnVue". Mi hanno promesso che avremmo trovato una soluzione invece sono spariti senza dire nulla e, chiaramente, con i miei 320 euro.

Pearson just sucks, there's no other way about it. Support was helpful as much as they could. The system is very bad. The homework system is very hard to use, confusing, and a pain. My issue was not resolved the way I expected it to be. I was requesting my subscription that I paid double for to transfer over to my different institution, but the Pearson agent claims that it was a different textbook altogether. Back and forth over the phone for over half an hour, and the issue had not been resolved yet. I even asked them if I could get a partial refund, but they wouldn't even honor it. I'm very disappointed in this company, and I wish they could become better in the future, but as of now, the system utterly sucks and doesn't look like they will improve it anytime soon. A point to add is that I'm paying $100+ for this service and have been a loyal customer since my university requires me to purchase this and doesn't have it included. Helpfulness of the representative 5/5, Company as a whole deserves a 0/5.

Completely awful homework problems in the Chem textbook. Unrelated to the section they reference, no information or examples on how to solve problems. Cannot stand this interface. I learn everything off youtube to pass Pearson's mastery stuff.

Easy smooth simple

I have never used a program as bad as the one they offer for calculus. The explanations are half-completed or missing entirely. Several of the readings are just a blank screen with "coming soon" written on them. The study plan is irrelevant to the material. It has me reviewing middle school math instead of anything in calculus or precalculus. Ultimately, the worst offense is that they took the time to implement a language model instead of decent lessons. Language models, or generative AI have no place in math since they are famously computers that cannot do math. They treat numbers like words which results in a random integer rather than a correct answer. The company has an unmatched audacity to charge $85 for an incomplete textbook.

I am totally fine paying for a textbook for my college courses - that's just the cost of going to university.

What I do not like is the terrible interface that Pearson uses. The dashboard is not helpful, instructions are not written in plain language, and the fields that a user enters information in can ding you points because of a formatting discrepancy (no, I'm not talking units here).

To me, it feels like professors are being robbed of actually teaching students and using a textbook as a resource (like before), and instead having this very terrible online resource do all of the "teaching" from its crappy web-based, GUI click-through interface.

Also, when was it ever ok to make students pay $40 to $100 USD to complete and submit homework?

I know some professors do not care, but for those who do, how can we stop this? Pearson is not helping students learn anything.

After five years of using Pearson’s products, I can confidently say the content itself is strong—well-structured, comprehensive, and engaging for students. However, the quality of their customer and technical support consistently fell far short of expectations. Reaching a knowledgeable representative was difficult, and resolving even minor issues often turned into a frustrating, time-consuming process. Despite the quality of the materials, I ultimately chose to switch publishers. A good product is only as effective as the support behind it—and in that area, Pearson failed to deliver.
