The test itself was a joke with questions that had no right answer and question not involving the topic at hand.
Bad Customer Service
My daughter took the LNAT at Southgate Pearson Vue. The cable attached to the keyboard was tangled when she tried to take take the keyboard for part 2 of the exam. She flagged the invigilator who powered the machine down in attempting to assist. She lost 5 minutes of the exam time and opened a case as she was not given the additional she lost (despite being told she would be). No acknowledgement of the complaint was received and when she called the call centre she was told the exam was "irretrievable" and she would have to take it again in January which she did. No explanation or apology was received. IT failures can happen but Pearson should own it when they do.

The companies tech support is probably the worst I've seen with any company.
OnVUE is really bad
I had never had any problems with OnVUE, but yesterday and today was unable take my exam from home. Even after passing all the checks, the exam never started. I was even in the queue when suddenly kicked me out. I believe they did recent changes, now it is imposible. Worst experience ever. I won't be able to get certified before my due date because of this.
OnVue was a terrible experience
OnVue was a terrible experience. From downloading to customer service to testing my system before test day, it was very stressful. I actually had to disable Windows Security to allow for the downloaded program to run.
I would give one star if it were…
I would give one star if it were possible. They show no concern for their clients' situations and make no effort to understand their perspectives. Their customer service is virtually nonexistent. There is no way to communicate back with program coordinators. The proctors' English proficiency is very limited, making them difficult to understand.

I had an extremely frustrating experience attempting to sit my Azure Fundamentals exam through Pearson VUE OnVue.
I completed the full 30-minute pre-check process as required, only for the proctor to flag my wireless headphones as unacceptable. I immediately switched to a wired headset to comply. Despite confirming on my end that the microphone was fully working, the proctor claimed they were unable to hear me — and rather than attempting to troubleshoot or escalate the issue, they simply hung up on me and forced me to reschedule.
No warning. No attempt to resolve the issue. Just disconnected.
This is completely unacceptable. I had taken time out of my day, completed all the required preparation steps, and was ready to sit my exam. Being abruptly disconnected by a proctor — with no explanation and no support — wasted my time and left me without any resolution.
Pearson VUE needs to hold its proctors to a higher standard of professionalism and customer service. Candidates should not be penalised and forced to reschedule due to technical issues that were not their fault, with zero support offered.
horrible, filthy testing center
I went to take my Real Estate sales test today; I was on time the workers were 13 minutes late the entire building was filthy I read the instructions about personal items and complied. When the man assessed me, he wanted me to remove my wedding ring, and my 14 K Cuban gold linked necklace my answer was no. They ask you to bring 2 forms of identification a debit card and picture ID they allow you to keep your ID, but they keep your debit card in a safe that you have no access to. This is a personal violation considering this is your money on your card that they have access to but you don't. While testing the young lady came in twice to spray air freshener, this interrupts your concentration and bothers your allergies there is no ventilation in the room she sprays and closes you up in a room that she's not in. This gave me a head ach and messed with my allergies it's been 2 hours since I tested and I still have a headache. It's unbelievable that you are there to be tested and they distract you from testing after you've paid for the service. For them to want to strip you of your wedding ring is crazy the expectation is for you to trust strangers with your valuable possessions.
Pearson VUE - Deceptive UI Design Results in Wrongful Exam Termination, No Refund
Pearson VUE is a publicly traded company that allegedly engages in intentionally misleading UI to force test retakes and increase profits.
Pearson Vue's testing platform contains a "Take a Break" button that does not initiate an approved break. This distinction is not made clear at the point of interaction.
Their pre-exam instructions explicitly state that test-takers may leave the webcam frame during an approved break. The platform's UI implies that clicking "Take a Break" constitutes requesting one. It does not.
I clicked this button during my SC-300 Microsoft certification exam. My proctor terminated the session. Pearson reviewed the case and denied a refund.
Whether this is negligent UI design or intentional friction that generates re-examination fees for a publicly traded company, the outcome is the same: test-takers pay twice for one exam. Proceed accordingly.

My exam session was terminated by the proctor without any prior warning. During the time of termination, I was only looking at the screen and did not access any prohibited materials. My hands were visible and resting near the screen, which may have been misinterpreted.
I was not given any opportunity to clarify or correct my behavior before the session was revoked.
I already request a review of the session recording and would like to request a retake, as I believe this was a misinterpretation.

I spent 55 minutes trying to book an exam over the phone (l was told to call this specific number). The customer service agent was clearly outside, as l could hear the wind blowing on the phone and bird chirping. I also heard her walk back inside. She gave me no confidence that she knew how to do her job, l had to repeat everything multiple times and the level of conversation english was incredibly low, which dragged the call out even further. They then put me on hold without telling me and just didnt pick up.
Awful service and giant waste of time
If you've ever thought, "You know what would make this stressful exam even better? Sitting in a waiting room for over an hour wondering if I'll actually get to take it," then Pearson VUE is the testing experience of your dreams.
I showed up on time. Like a fool, I assumed that having a scheduled appointment meant something. Apparently "scheduled" is more of a suggestion here. You show up on time, the exam will start... NEVER.
If you're looking for a testing center that respects your time, your preparation, and your sanity, I'd recommend literally anywhere else. But if you enjoy the thrill of not knowing whether you'll actually take the exam you paid good money for, Pearson VUE has you covered.
Avoid if you have alternatives
If you are a candidate and have another testing option, choose the other provider.
If you are a test sponsor, review your SLAs with Pearson VUE very carefully.
On 27 February 2026 I had an extremely negative experience at the London Southwark test centre while sitting for the 4‑hour PMP exam.
After completing Parts 1 and 2, the system took me straight to the end‑of‑exam screen without ever presenting Part 3.
What followed was a complete failure of process, accountability, and basic customer care:
* The proctor dismissed my concern instead of investigating it;
* The receptionist “raised a ticket” instead of looking for a solution/enabling me to complete the exam;
* Support verified my identity and confirmed a case had been opened instead of offering a solution.
* Throughout the entire process: zero empathy, zero agility, zero ownership.
Several days later, Pearson VUE confirmed there had been a “technical issue” — with no explanation, no transparency, and no meaningful remediation. The only way forward was for me to resit the exam, a few weeks later, at a significant opportunity cost as I had to reschedule prior commitments.
A technical issue caused by force majeure is understandable.
A technical issue that simply happens — with no safeguards, no recovery plan, and no accountability — is not acceptable.
Candidates deserve better. Test sponsors should demand better.
The most horrendous company
The most horrendous company. I took the AFOQT at a Pearson center and they give zero follow up how to actually access the exam.
Good luck trying to contact someone, the customer service reps are on the beach in phuqing Miami while my phone rings for infinity. The chat bot is also useless, I’ve tried 3 separate days and it said it was closed for holiday. There were no holidays those days.
Horrendous company, wish I could rate it lower.
Unsafe testing site
The testing site near me didn't have any appointments so I had to go to the America Business College in Chicago. I arrived to find it was a terribly unsafe area and I was afraid to get out of the car. I called their customer service people who were rude, hostile, impossible to understand and dedicated to reading from a script and giving me the run around.
Id give 0 if it was a option
Id give 0 if it was a option. I done my test and passed now to get the card I need a certificate which has not been sent. Ive gone through everything they sent to get the cscs and still its impossible to find. The way this is set up is ridiculous! Might aswell put it all in chinese.
Be careful with your IDS !!!
I took an exam at Pearson Test centre recently . For the exam, 2 forms of ID were required . I presented my international passport and Driver's permit , both were original government issued IDs with my signature and photo . However , my driver's permit was declined by staff and I was specifically asked for my bank card instead . I was uncomfortable with this request but I did as requested because I was afraid that I would not be allowed to sit my exam. Both documents were kept by staff for a period of time before they were returned to me. Three days later , I had an unauthorized payment made on that same bank card . A second unauthorized payment was later attempted but stopped by my bank . I never had this issue before and no one had access to my card . Therefore , this caused me to believe that my details were compromised when I handed in my card for the ID check. This is very concerning given that it is a centre where many professionals come to write exams . If you can avoid it , do not hand in your bank card as a form of ID.
Proctor are terrible and wield power worse than authoritarian
After being interrupted during a test for what turned out to be a non-issue, I was robbed of 15 minutes from the PMP exam. I pressed the Proctor as to why this was OK and allowable by the Proctor checking me, but not OK when I was focused and momentum was good. I demanded that they give me a retest at no charge and get their sh*t aligned on what is permittable and what's not. I escalated the issue but still do not have records or the history sent to me as requested. I think a class action law suit may be forthcoming with this organization. If anything, PMI will be hearing from me several times to demand corrective and preventative actions be implemented. In reality, they should just stop offering this as an at home option. I think organizations and Institutes need to be held accountable if they will nit hold their testing services accountable for clear Proctor driven problems.
Absolutely disgraceful experience with Pearson VUE.
My PMP exam was revoked before I had even started the test. I briefly stood up to use the restroom before the exam began, at a time when there was no clear warning that doing so would lead to revocation. When I returned, the proctor began asking questions in an aggressive and rude manner, and before I was even allowed to properly respond, my session was terminated.
What makes this even worse is the complete failure of customer support afterward. Pearson VUE sends one-sided automated responses, does not allow a proper reply, and offers a chat service that is practically useless when a candidate is facing a serious issue. After weeks of preparation, stress, and money invested in this certification, I was denied the opportunity to even begin the exam and then left without any fair resolution.
This is not just bad service. It is a shocking example of disrespect, poor judgment, and lack of accountability toward candidates. I sincerely hope PMI reviews this incident seriously and reconsiders maintaining any relationship with a provider that treats certification candidates this way.
No professional who has invested time, money, and effort into an important exam should be subjected to this level of incompetence and disregard.

While taking a exam at home using pearsonvue, the Proctor terminated my test because of not looking directly into the camera. Might I say my room and electronics were verified and clean and clear. Whether I look left, right, up, or down the test question read right to left and down for answers. I feel the Proctor was also adding rules instead of following the rules. Forty question into my test out 70 I was terminated for nonsense!!!
