truly amazing how bad yet expensive a service can be.

first the payment, you select visa but have MasterCard? no way to go back, restart the whole training booking service. which app still does this is 2026.

then, you jump through all the hoops and comply to all the demands to do the exam, sit there waiting for someone to greet you for 30 minutes, no phone, no talking, no one can enter, you can't leave. and then after 30'? oops, app crashed, reschedule within 4 hours or lose the money you paid.
opens a browser window, guess what, service temporarily unavailable. haha that's insane. they're just stealing my time, my money, my wife's time who can't be home during the exam, my colleague whose meetings i have to move...

then you get customer support and they just take their sweet time giving you noting but the hope they're going to get back to you...

I can't believe Microsoft uses pearson. what a scam

I don't know who designed this anger-inducing, counterproductive, sad excuse for a learning platform, and I don't know who decided that it should be an inclusion in every class even slightly related to mathematics in any capacity; but those incompetent people need to get fired and blacklisted from any and every segment of the learning industry.

I needed the qualification certificate and transcript sent to a third party via email for evaluation so I could apply to University. (The evaluation company will only accept it if sent directly from the examining body). The only way Pearson would do this was for me to request another certificate for £77! All other examining bodies do this for free. It's just an email! What an absolute scam!

If there was a zero or negative I would choose it. This website is soooooooooo annoying, you can't understand anything at all! just go through a miss until you reach somewhere. I don't even know why universities still using it.

I purchased a textbook on the wrong account and despite looking through forums and resources for the past 45 minutes, there is no button that allows me to refund my purchase.

I have to use this site against my own will because it’s the only site where I can access to the resources of one subject. Entering this site was the worst decision of my life, it always gives me problems and is constantly having failures and bugs. You have ruined a lot of my days.

in a french excersise set by my teacher on pearson i write apples as my translation and it said it was wrong and put the right translation as apples .Absaloutlt terrible

Pearson Plus was required for my University class and was given to me at no cost. When the class ended, Pearson decided to switch me over to a paid subscription without my knowledge. How convenient that this specific subscription isn’t refundable either! Scummy for a business that claims to help students. Misleading and screwing over students is horrible and it’s not shocking their reviews are trash. Avoid at all costs.

There has never been a subscription or anything that I could not cancel. Apparently not being able to cancel after the 14 days(dont care about a refund) is impossible. You are unable to go in and remove your payment method so they dont steal from you since you do not want the service. I would tell anyone that is thinking about getting a book via Pearson, to reevaluate your decision. There are plenty of places to get the books digitally or just get it as a physical copy. This place does not care about the customer they only care about money. They are as greedy as a lot of other places. They are part of the problem, meaning the solution is to get everyone who either is using the service or are thinking about using it, need to cancel/stop.

they give you wrong answers constantly and give you questions that you are not in any way able to answer since you havent learned it yet if your taking microbiology and this is the site they give you to learn. good luck and the website constantly revokes your access at random times so yeah cant even do its only job correctly

Avoid at all costs - I wouldn’t take this exam even for free. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Terrible company.

The whole process was a joke. I arrived early and wasn’t allowed to wait inside for 20 minutes, even though there were around 25 empty seats in the waiting room. Completely illogical and unprofessional.

The test environment itself was extremely distracting:
• No sound isolation at all - constant noise from other people.
• Not enough time to properly describe pictures or complete tasks.
• Chaotic, stressful conditions that make it impossible to perform well.
• £10 headphones from aliexpress- with very - very loud beeps (propably I will have tunitis after this exam)

On top of that, I witnessed someone being refused the exam because their document included a middle name, and he instantly lost £160. After reading other reviews, this seems to be a common issue.

A complete waste of money and time.
I genuinely cannot believe that the government lists this company as a recommended provider on their official website. Seriously - do not go there!

Any company that makes it nearly impossible to cancel your relationship with them should not be trusted, and Pearson certainly falls into this category. If your service requires users to scour the internet for tips on how to end their relationship with your company, you're probably doing bad business.

Pearson plus is a total waste of money! There is a 6 month requirement before you can cancel.
