Since I’m not great with technology I found the site an easy one to deal with and managed my booking easily enough. We’ve booked with Novosol in the past and everything was very straightforward.

Reliable and trustworthy company which always has the lowest prices and this year even had an extra discount! Easy online booking system completes the customer satisfaction.

I had no issue with the booking or with Novasol's handling of it, but I promised the owner I would leave a lovely review of the villa. However Novasol do not allow reviews on their website. They employ Feefo to contact you to list your review. Feefo have not contacted me (this is the second time it's happened). So despite asking Novasol to resolve this all Novasol do is ask ME to contact Feefo, the company they actually employ!
What this means is when you are actually looking at reviews on properties through Novasol they are not giving the true amounts of reviews, so be aware.

Very good experience

We drive 4 days from Brittany missing so much of the Dordogne area to get to Pezenas for our 3 week reservation when we received a message on there day if our arrival saying the booking was cancelled. To say a few swear words left or mouths was an understatement. This left us in the situation late afternoon of looking for another property to rent. Novasol did offer alternative accomodation but not in the same town so we chose a refund instead. The money was all returned after 7 days and we did find a lovely, more expensive place but the stress it created was enough that I'd never use them again

Terrible experience could not check in towels sheets were horrible used etc when i called booking.com i was told by the guy checking me in i could call them outside or he would call the police. I could not stay there worst experience ever. Do Not Use this company

The range of properties available is great, however beware of hidden charges. Electricity is often extra (and can be expensive if you have air conditioning or a pool at the property). We had a charge of €200, in cash, at the end of one week in Italy. You may also need to pay a damage deposit in cash on arrival.

Booked a villa in France for 13 people' arrived at venue on the day and time to collect the keys - The owner onsite had no booking info and when we contacted novasol , they said the property had no licence and our holiday was cancelled - our family and friends were left stranded in Vianne Saturday afternoon with no accommodation.
They had the cheek to offer us our money back and compensation of 240 euro's - this just covered 1 hotel room for 2 people - we are out of pocket to the sum of 750 euro.
We had to find another villa and travelled some 2.5 hours away from original holiday vacation.
Novasol basically did not care for our safety or help in this matter.
we are at present going thru legal action and have involved ABTA in this matter to claim at least are expenses occurred.
I have never experienced such a bad company, they have bluntly refused it was their fault , never get back to you and just don't care!!!
Look at the reviews, we are not the only family that have had a bad experience.
How can they offer rental property with out a trading licence?? or any such documents to say its safe and secure.

I would recommend avoiding this company. We booked a villa with them in Prades sur Vernazobre for two weeks this summer.

The villa was in a great location, but the advert was factually incorrect - it showed out of date photos and promised air conditioning. We found that the villa needed some tlc - the decking was very old and we ended up with a lot of splinters. We also found that there was only air conditioning in one room in the villa. Novasol claimed that they were not aware, but I have since found a review on AirBnB for the villa via Novasol which explains this exact situation - the review was from last summer. The villa is also based less than a mile from the local Novasol office, so they could easily have checked whether the review was correct or not when cleaning or checking the pool.

Novasol's customer service is poor - several agents were rude on chat and four times I was given email addresses that didn't work, when I tried to raise this issue. It doesn't make you feel valued as a customer when you are repeatedly given email addresses that have auto bounce backs!

Novasol have said that they will not address this as we did not raise it when we were there - given that it takes 3 days + to reply to an email, I can't see a situation in which they would have come and fitted air con in the other rooms! Also, they WERE aware, as the 2024 review proves.

Honestly, I'd avoid - there are companies that demonstrate much more integrity
