The company should take the click& collection service off facilities list.
I have no problems with their attitude till this evening.
They explained system was down. I said item already collected. No need to use click & collection bar code already collected. I showed what was collected. I showed the ecp code bar number. Item collection was not the same as item received. So they still had item. Assistant was trying to trick me with words, we can't do anything about it she says. I said the item you still have. So she asked other assistant to have a look in other room. How did I know that correct item was being held. I invited assistant to open my mail and I could show it corresponds with item I was trying to collect. Because they didn't want me to proof of what was inside jiffy bag they said just take it. Imo they didn't want to give me MY MAIL.

Worked in a McColls that got converted to a Morrison's Daily. Had to wear a Morrison's uniform and sell Morrisons products in a shop with a Morrison's sign above the door but still got paid Mcolls minimum wage. Absolute joke of a company.

This is the Mcolls on Phoebe Street in Ordsall, Salford. There is only one member of staff in that shop who has any friendliness or Customer service skills and his name is Mark. The rest of them have a bad attitude and don't know how to speak to customers. One woman in particular called Cheryl is terrible, is chewing gum at the till, talking to the other members of staff on the till whilst serving, she left and I don't know why they let her come back as she is not customer service material. All of these staff members apart from Mark need proper customer service training.

I've been here multiple times before some staff are absolutely lovely. However today is a different story. If we could give this 0 stars we would. Mouthy staff, treating us like dirt. Threatening to ban us from the store. For buying energy drinks for ourselves and a kid a soft drink. Certain member of the staffing team treated us poorly, avoiding this shop for future purchases is a good shout. Don't go to a shop where you'll get nothing but gob from the staff who work there.

Poor management and overall rubbish.
Employ 'managers' who are totally clueless.
No staff support whatsoever.
Overpriced.
No wonder they are a failure....

Went to the Sidley/Bexhill McColl’s branch in East Sussex. I wanted to use the post office which on the post office website says it is open till 10 pm.

There was one man behind the counter and they normally move to the post office side to serve you. This person refused to serve me and asked the other staff member stacking the shelves to come back and help me with my parcel.

He said he was too busy and I had to come back later!

I was going to do loads of shopping after posting this parcel but I just left and went somewhere else. I had to go to another post office next working day.

Appalling customer service, not going there ever again. I liked the 10pm post office closing time as it’s convenient, but it’s not convenient if they don’t serve you!

I will use a real post office in future

McColl's Cardiff - The customer service is great, very friendly and helpful.

McColls is supposed to offer pickup / drop off for collect+ parcels.

They have now decided that they no longer accept parcels larger than shoe box size.

I have spoken to various couriers that have tried to drop of parcels to McColls, for customers to collect, and have been refused.

In my opinion, McColls should no longer be allowed to be a collect / drop off point for parcels if they cannot provide this service.

This shop is always poorly staffed and the post office window is NEVER manned properly. The attitude of "Mike" is woeful and they no absolutely nothing about customer service. I will NEVER use this shop again.

Avoid picking up your items from McColls/ Morrisons Daily at Lanaway Road, Bristol, BS16 2NN. I got an email saying my 2 pairs of trousers have been delivered/ ready for collections when I arrive, Morrison Daily have big sign saying “Open Till 10:00pm” but shop is closed with the shutters down. No message or note saying why. Locals say it’s never open. It pleases itself it was open this morning apparently. Trust pilot says there are disgruntled staff at McColls. It’s going downhill. You can feel it

feel sorry for workers at mccolls if it does collapse putting loads of people out of work hopefully find other jobs

I would like to say that the staff in the church rd Bristol branch bishops worth , are a credit to your company , nothing is ever to much trouble , the shop is always clean and presentable

This shop is a disgrace, the forecourt is full of litter ,bins always overflowing, due to the storms this litter has been blown all over the neighbourhood. Staff obviously need to go to spec savers as they don't seem to see the mess. Then again they don't care. I haven't been in this shop for a long time due to the neglect and dirty appearance. Sadie used to be a good shop before Mccolls took over. This shop is in Henthorn Rd Clitheroe lancs.

The shop in Runcorn, castlefields has an excellent worker, worths all five stars; welcomed everyone with a big heart and when I was £0.99 short, he let me off. I wish every employee were like him

Shocking service, no customer service skills.
Every time I have been to the shop in BLACKHEATH I have either been short changed, told my lottery ticket had nothing on it but had already scanned at home and then we’ll the parcel service is outrages. Every time I send my parcels there I go to collect and am told they are not there, when I start having a go they find them … very strange.
My encounter today with Susie and Eva was very rude.
Susie said no parcels and my number wasn’t right for collection.
I had three parcels to collect, after having a go Eva sunddenly finds one but says not the other two, out right rude just says no not here and continues to serve other people.
I will never be returning to this store again.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE i have been shopping in this shop for 12 years spending on average 7000 pounds a year never complained however yesterday i asked for a e-cig replacement top ( about a fiver ) and i showed what i wanted to the boy at the check out but when i got home and opened the box i found out that i was given the wrong item when i went back and asked for a replacement i found out that the manager was very patronising and he refused point blank to replace the item even after i offered to pay for half of it to resolve the problem claiming that they were on a tight budget. well......keep you fiver mate i wonder what if he will have to explain why at the end of the year it will show 7000 pounds less on takings because i will never shop there AGAIN

Whilst mostly ok shopping there, the big problems is lack of space for people in wheel chairs, poor health and safety leaving things on the floor where people could trip up , there delivery men break the law by parking in a disabled only parking space, rude and unprofessional staff , talking to there friends and serving them when your not susposed to.

McColls Bathwick street (Bath) have taken it upon themselves to make an already dreadful and inconvenient time in human history much more so. Garbage service with a closing time that seems entirely dependent on the whims and bad temper of the staff. Heaven forbid you pop in to buy ONE bar of chocolate to improve your own crappy day of working full time during the apocalypse - they WILL ask you to leave because there's already a 'queue' (read: two people) at around ten minutes to 'closing time'. Have lived next to this place for two years and it's only got worse during that time - don't bother. If I could give it no stars, I would.

Southport Branch. We are new to the area and were happy to find there was a shop around the corner along with a post office. Sadly, we are disappointed. The 'day' staff are always miserable and unfriendly - they never smile - and are quite bad mannered at times. The night staff are usually younger people and seem happier at their jobs. Going off some of the other reviews it seems a pattern for McColls.....maybe Head Office should read these reviews and try and change things. They may find more people will use their stores if it is a pleasant experience!

McColls in Southcote near Reading is a joke. So is customer services in ahead Office as you have to leave a voicemail message and they say they will get back to you within 5 days.
I have had lots of problems with deliveries of our newspapers. Being delivered really late and being delivered when cancelled and left hanging out of the letterbox for several days indicating to anyone passing by that the house is empty.
When I went into the shop to shut my account totally with no more deliveries they continued to be delivered.
I then kept getting bills for money they say I owe. I again called in the shop and a very nice lady went though my bill and deducted all the non deliveries and deliveries made when cancelled. I took back the papers that were delivered when I had cancelled them just to show that it had happened. I paid what was owed after all the calculations she made but today I got another bill. A final demand.
What a joke of a company. There is no manager and only a couple of staff.
