We bought 6 packets of Buddig Turkey Ham. Several of them had mold on them when we opened the next day. It was shocking as it was well before the expiry date and the mold had already spread to 25% of the ham.
Doesn’t Loblaws do its own quality check before putting food on the shelf ? When we returned the item, there was no apology from the customer service agent. He just took it as a normal refund request.

I’m a loyal regular customer at the Leaside location on redway . The pharmacy which I have been using for the last 20 yrs or so has gone down hill in every aspect with errors being made . I reached out to the district mgr of the pharmacy by email and they have yet to call . When a customer take the time to reach out and you refuse to call it explains a lot on why that department has gone down hill . The operation is just as bad or worse that the mgt that run it .
Here some advice to “ operations “ never take a customer concern as a complaint but them taking the time to help you improve .

raising food prices, making people go somewhat broke, and making them use the food bank as if they haven't made enough money with last year and this year so far with about 2.4 billion dollars and making people go kind of broke.

There is no price match in this location and I was told by the manager that every superstore has its own pricing, than what is the use for the flyer becuse it should be same for every store's, and I sawed them the fruiticana store flyer and there said there can't match with them too.
Where is the price match guarantee.
Waste of time (1 hour)

I went to get some fried chicken and was told they were out, but at 1:00 extractly they said they have a whole chicken coming out of the oven. The young lady took out the whole chicken and cut it with a pair of scissors into three thighs and one breast. When I went home to eat them they were hard and not well done....the meat wasn't falling off the bone and they were very greasy! August 26,2023 1:00

Why isn't Loblaws working to fulfill its cage-free policy? Hens should not be confined in tiny cages to provide eggs to Loblaws.

- Instead of deleting and blocking comments, Loblaws should prioritize fulfilling its commitments. Please stop selling eggs from hens confined in tiny cages.

- Loblaws should keep its promise and go cage-free by 2025. Stop allowing hens to be confined in tiny wire cages!

This is the 2nd time in about 3 years that Loblaws has run out of their own brand PC tinned dog food -
What do they expect us to do ?
You cannot just chop and change food for dogs, like humans - you have to keep to the same one.
So don't start on this dog food - you'll run into problems.

Bad service. Poor attitude, and abuse towards employees

Keep it up superstore Nanaimo, BC. Normally I would shop at this store as I had thought, in the past, that your prices were reasonable and in doing, so excepted the rather poor quality of produce. However with your increasingly high prices, yes, even your yellow label brand, you have me looking elsewhere to shop. Your no name label canned milk that used to sell for $1.19 then $1.29 in the past three months has gone to $1.49, $1.79 to $1.99, nope, not doing it. I went to Costco and bought a case of Brand name canned milk that worked out to $1.66 a can! This is only one example of why now, I shop around!

Loblaws is a great place to shop - be it quality, shopping experience or customer service.

We have a request. Can you kindly get sweet lime grown in Arizona ( also in India ) as these can only grow in sweltering climatic conditions and are not found locally in Canada? These fruits are very nutritious and have excellent health benefits.

I was shopping at Loblaws, 10 Lower Jarvis Street.
I stood in a long line, and said a few words to my friend. Suddenly, a woman in front of me told me to move to the back of the line.
Then, she asked "What is your country?" "I am Canadian", I replied. "Don't mess with Portuguese!" she said in a hostile, threatening tone.
She went on and on about what country I came from, also about nationality of my friend, and what languages we speak, even said something about wanting to hit us. We just kept silent.
As that woman approached the cash register, she told the cashier that I don't understand English. So she called me "bad", "rude", "old", even insulted my "grandchildren" which she presumed I have. Finally, she told the cashier to scan each item very slow, to make me wait. Meanwhile, the long line was getting even longer...
There were cashiers, other employees and Security at this store. Nobody intervened, nobody tried to stop this embarrassing tirade of an aggressive woman with a smell of alcohol on her breath. The cashier only tried to please her by selling more cans to her, while this woman was uttering threats.

Went thru cash at approximately 8 pm Saturday July 29. Daughter went thru and decided against the purchase of an item so the item ended up on my order and I questioned the cashier Nicole why my purchase totaled 10 dollars more and she says to me why did you put it there then.. which was very rude and no apology from her.. horrible to treat customer like crap. I also saw her having a good conversation with a young worker there so I guess we disturbed that hence why her mood was pissy when we went thru as there was no one else there in line!!!!

There has been recent hostility towards a poc girl who was just trying to get her food. She was physically assaulted, by you guessed it, a white man. There was a lady who was giving her the food, not only was the packaging and quality of the food poor, but also she was severely disrespectful towards this girl and even had the audacity to call her racial slurs. Everyone who spoke up was against the girl. Y’all suck

I was recently informed of their treatment against poc, mainly black people, and that in one situation of which I was told about this problem, the sister of the victim talked about how she was physically assaulted by a white man and neither the company nor anyone present helped at all. Reading these reviews now makes me realize that this hasn't been the first time and this is just absolutely disgusting.

I went with my sister and the employees where racist, they hate people of color as long as you’re not white.funny thing is I was visiting the country and decided to branch, I would advise people to boycott this place

A young black woman was assaulted physically and verbally (racist slurs) by a white man. Prior to the assault the young woman was already treated poorly by an employee who not only failed to serve her in the same manner they did other customers but also called her racial slurs. The company failed to intervene in any way but rather banned the young woman that was assaulted, making their stance on racism clear. Do not support this place!

Every weekend I go the Bakery at your College Square store.
You stand there for 10 minutes while the 3 employees stand behind the counter talking looking at you then continue talking. Worst service ever. When you do finally get served they act like you have imposed on their day. I left this weekend without being served. I will not be back.

Only to discover that I was given another empty cartridge
Lucky I had my recipt.if the transaction
The manager in duty.apologised and made good on it
But because. I'm not mobile.
My transaction added 4taxi trips

Racist workers were there and no one helped a young lady that was attacked.

A white woman who works here was being racist to a black young woman. The first thing she did was giving her less food than she was supposed to get. Then when she talked to the manager about it she got the meal for free. She went to the white woman again for things she was supposed to get but then she starts saying racist slurs. She says something about it but then an old white man decides he can just but into the situation. He slaps her and grabs her by the throat because she says something about it. (This is NOT okay and you should do something about it). To make it worse the young woman gets banned from your place. This is something you should be ashamed of! shame on you for not doing anything about it.
