Terrible store customer service at…

Terrible store customer service at Richmond Street London Ontario. I am 38 weeks pregnant with my toddler waiting in the home section isle for 30+ minutes to be helped. Asked for help 3 different people within 30 minutes. All of them claiming it’s not their sector and that someone is coming. When I asked cashier fourth time to call someone, her and customer she was helping started giggling and talking behind my back. My husband noticed that and he lost it. Then he start using curse words complaining about customer service and overall experience, saying “I just want to f pay and leave”. Just so manager could come and expelled us from the store without acknowledging anything that was happening for 30 minutes prior my husband said that. What kind of person you must be to laugh behind pregnant woman back?? And what kind of manager you are to let your staff behave like that?

Poor service

Hello
Today I went to the loblaws store on Musgrove as I have for many years. Sadly this store has truly gone downhill. There are no carts in the store where they’re normally located so fortunately I remembered to get one and bring it in when I parked. When in self checkout the items kept double charging. After waiting several minutes for the woman who sitting down and mentioning the problem to her she literally grunted at me. It’s so sad to see this beautiful store that had such great customer service deteriorating so much.

Found lead in their product

Found lead in their product - reached out to them for a refund. They started by claiming home tests were not valid. When I showed them it was professionally tested, they said that despite the lead, they don’t believe the lead transfers into food and they would not refund the $20 dish. Really? Your item that was intended for food use contains lead (which you did not disclose to customers by the way), and a customer’s dissatisfaction of your product as a result was not a valid reason to refund? Poor disclosure, arguable very unsafe products and horrendous customer service. Shop elsewhere.

Products are rapidly loosing quality

Products are rapidly loosing quality. First it was the lasagna, then the meatballs now the peas have little olive coloured ones in the mix. Ginger snaps have 4 or 5 less for the same packaging, so now they rattle around and are usually broken. Guess they have to get that $500 million back somehow! Try Farmboy.

Gift Card Issues

Their gift card would not work and the employees were not helpful. I went multiple times to the nearby stores and the employees were completely clueless and hostile. I had a President's choice card in digital format that was not scanning and they had no idea how to enter it manually and were not willing to learn either. Completely wasted my time and I also emailed them and no one responded so just a terrible company overall. I eventually managed to use it at a third store because the employee knew how to manually enter it but I'm still very disappointed with the experience.

I really don't understand the layout of…

I really don't understand the layout of this store. Every time I come in I spend more time looking for things than actually shopping. The self-checkout machines are constantly breaking down and there's rarely enough staff around to help. The aisles feel cramped, especially on weekends. Honestly exhausting to shop here. Won't be rushing back.

Beware buying electronics that are not…

Beware buying electronics that are not PC brand at Loblaws: if defective, you can only exchange it for the same product, and even at that, I had to talk to the manager before the clerk did it. I bought a Black and Decker coffee grinder that stopped working the second time I used it. Piece of garbage! Loblaws policy is "get it repaired by the manufacturer" or, if you're lucky, they'll exchange a bad product for another one! I should have read the reviews before buying it. Imagine ANY other store doing that,e.g. Canadian Tire, Costco. Ridiculous.

We have a Zehrs in Caledonia

We have a Zehrs in Caledonia. It seems to have gone done in quality. I have purchased bake potatoes in foil. Often getting 3 out of 4 good.Also I've had to return chicken more than once for being bad.Their produce is terrible. Some items in your insiders report are not in stock.I've had many bad experiences in this store lately. It never was like this before. I now drive to Fortinos in Ancaster. A great store. Thank you .

Racism at loblaws

i visited a Loblaws branch, well multiple but this specific location really had me questioning their customer service. Its honestly a shame that we are still discriminating people based on races till this day. I usually shop at Hakams Independent Grocer a Loblaws branch, close to my home; where I've constantly faced discrimination by managers specifically the store manager who's short and Indian and another manager, description wise; old bald Asian man. when i always enter the store i always get discriminated by the Indian store manager, i'm always stared at and followed as if i'm shoplifting when i got no reasons for him to be suspicious in the first place. I've confronted him before and he just rolled his eyes and brushed the conversation off. He doesn't know how to do his job as a store manager, as i've never seen him actually work. i see him talk to his employees in horrible tones of voice, never heard a please or thank you, then spends most of his time standing by the door. the place feels miserable for employees who have to rely on him. every time he speaks to his employees they leave looking miserable and its clear why. When it comes to checkouts i usually see the other manager who's of Asian descent and on the older side who's always talking in the rudest tone, yelling at employees, and very impatient with customers like myself. There's a lot i can speak on this but this store really needs to be investigated because there is absolutely no way this is going on and owners are doing nothing about it at all. This is always happening consistently so i cant put a specific date on this matter. the employees are the sole reason the store is running the way it is, without them the store would not function but managers dont seem to recognize anybody but their own egos. Not speaking on behalf of all the managers because there are good managers there as well but clearly there is a couple who need to be taught on how to manage.

The Thai spring rolls $5 now 11.49!!!!!!!

The Thai spring rolls I bought for months at superstore Saint Albert were five dollars today they were asking 11.49 this is more than ridiculous. Of course I didn’t buy them and I don’t know who’s going to spend that money for 14 skinny little spring rolls. I don’t see how superstore justifies this.

Price Gouging Scammers

Good quality produce but horrible Pricing! The fact that you can shop for half price at NoFrills or FreshCo and people STILL go to Loblaws/Provigo is appalling. Wake up folks!

I have been trying to change my phone…

I have been trying to change my phone number on the PC OPTIMUM
app for about 3 weeks now and have talked to 2 people from customer service. I have also spent almost 16 hours on hold waiting to speak with someone. Because I can't change my phone number, I can't get into my app because my 2 step verification is going to a wrong number. I've had one email from Loblaws support people and have replied to it and have received nothing in response. I have never had such poor customer service in my life. I even called in the middle of the night and got a message that said they were experiencing higher than normal call volumes. This is when the offices are closed. How does that happen. I worked for Shoppers drug mart for 15 years and have never seen such crap service.

Not for everyone

New to West Vancouver, I started shopping at Loblaws. For the most part, I found the store generally fine. It was the Sunday before Passover that I got a rude awakening. After shopping up and down the aisles twice and not seeing ANY products for Passover, I asked an employee on the floor where I could find the products. The employee didn't know what Passover is. No big deal. He went to another employee who also did not know, so she called a manager over. The manager approached me and I asked where the Passover items were. She said, "We don't order that stuff". I was a bit taken aback and asked why, when it's a well-known holiday. She said, "I don't know why and I can't sell you what we don't have. Have a nice day." I tried calling the headquarters but could not get through.
