I wouldn’t be without it - LiveDrive does everything it claims

All I want from this type of software is simple to use operation and total reliability. Livedrive has provided this in the many years that I have been using it.

I have been a customer of Livedrive for almost a decade now. It is an excellent and very reliable service, which I am (and regularly have) recommending to others.

I have been using Livedrive for several years.
It's extremely good value for money.

It has enabled me to keep copies of files from devices I no longer use in addition to enabling me to access my files anytime, any place, from any device.

I particularly like the fact that Livedrive is independent of the ecosystems of the ubiquitous providers such as Google and Apple!

Reassuring to know that everything is backed up properly

The Livedrive program is continually improving and easier than ever before to use. I recently reorganised my files and Livedrive had to back them up from scratch in one go, about 300GB of files. I did think i should have carried out this backup in more manageable portions, however with support of the integrity check (guessing there was a logjam of files) i was fully backed up in no time.
I don't like to rely on just one back up but having had too many in the past created a backup nightmare (and i am still sifting through my files deleting duplications i,e, when i am satisfied they are duplications!) and am now comfortable with just LiveDrive backing up all my files together with Dropbox free portion overlapping with selected critical files. Whereas i hope to eliminate the duplications in the coming year i also should be adding to my media collections, so far dumped in a disorganised mess in their respective video, music and photos folders, and feel that £38 is a small price to pay for the peace of mind afforded to me by the duo of Livedrive and Dropbox. Ok, until you have some kind of disaster you cannot know if a backup will really perform but from the few occasions i have restored indivdual files from both Livedrive and Dropbox i have located them in the backup and restored them quickly and easily. This accessibility of the latest versions of individual files and folders is important, something you can't do, of course, with Hard Disk copies which, for one thing have to be physically recorded and for the other, can only be historic backups however often they may be done. As i write this i am thinking that maybe i could do a free Paragon copy of my films and music collections that don't change (not instead of but in addition to the backup of these in Livedrive) and store this copy on my external disk (if it still works after i dropped it and with the other risks specific to a physical backup) as a third copy for these specific items, no harm in that, if i get around to it.

After using Livedrive for at least 5 years it stopped working on my PC, I contacted support but the only option was something way too complicated for me to do, so I was left with no back up in place. I've had to switch to another provider so I can't give them a good rating based on this.

Livedrive has got me out of various scrapes; hard disc crash, change of computer, saving a new document on an old file name and other similar stress-raisers. It's simple, works in the background and doesn't need a degree in computing or prehensile thumbs to make it work.

I've used Livedrive for years, and recently had to fit a new hard drive to my PC. I have over 3tb of backed up data and so dreaded the fact I might have to upload it again. I didn't but it did cause some issues and so had to get into the support system to get it fixed. Long story short, lots of back and forth but all professional, helpful and to a final successful conclusion. For the price, the continued improvements to their product and that it's not tied to some massive US advertising company but a UK company the icing on the cake was that they are helpful, professional and effective in their support. Happy to recommend them if you want a true unlimited online backup.

I have been a LiveDrive customer for many years, backing up thousands of files and forgetting about them. Now when I need those files it turns out a good number of them can not be downloaded. Support acknowledged that this was an issue on their side but never got back to me with a solution. Clearly, those files are gone forever. If you are reading this review and doing your due diligence whether you should sign up to this service, please DO NOT, save yourself the trouble of losing files and go somewhere else.

Would NOT reccommend. I was a paying customer of livedrive for several years, before they randomly shut down my account, thus deleting everything I had stored on the cloud. Disgusting. All the postive reviews are shills.

Umulig at opsige. Software virker dårligt og bliver ved med at stoppe synkronisering. Bare jeg ikke havde spildt penge på dem i to år..

I have never used livedrive nor requested it but keep getting emails telling me to please unsuspended (their spelling not mine) my account so my computer is safe from fraud attacks blah blah. What a joke, no way am I even going to consider using a UK based company that Ive not even looked at online

I have been using Livedrive for a number of years now, both through work and, more recently, at home. The majority of customers that I deal with and have Livedrive are very happy with the service and it creates an affordable and, on the whole, dependable backup solution for them. On a personal note I have three PCs reliant on Livedrive for data backup and the platform works senselessly. I have a small ongoing issue, however the support from Livedrive is very quick and helpful. For domestic backups I find this to be a very fairly priced backup solution with good support.

When it works, it's OK, but if something goes wrong as is had, I am talking to sales because even though I have a business account, there is no way to speak to support and as it happened they not there "at the moment" (3 pm UK time). This is not the first time they have no clue what is going on, and to me, it will be the last I hope before I move somewhere else. NOT recommended at all

I have used Livedrive for several years. Of recent, their service has been failing with lost online documents. It is also unable to fully update/add files to their system.
When I raised this issue with them their customer service threatened to erase all my files within 3 days unless I agreed to continue with them. See below email extract;

"If you do not wish to contact my colleagues, the closure will be actioned automatically within 3 business days, and once this is done any data transferred to Livedrive will become inaccessible and deleted from our servers shortly afterwards.

This said, I would like to assist on this matter more directly, and resolve the root cause. Given the circumstances and situation, I would like to discuss this with you directly over the phone and, if necessary, do a remote connection and have a closer look at what's happening. Please let me know if this is acceptable, and what number I can reach you on, as well as what time would be convenient for you.

I have asked to make a complaint and also to be forwarded a copy of their complaints procedure which livedrive have refused.

I would avoid this company at all costs.
