Top Notch Service
I have been with Kennel Club Pet Insurance since I got my pup back in 2023. Best decision I made! He’s needed shoulder surgery at just under a year old. He’s had continuous spinal and hip difficulties since 2024 which all claims have been approved and this is still ongoing. He has allergies and received immunotherapy monthly. Every claim I provide my invoices and medical history. Never had any issues with any of my claims or pre-authorisations. Their customer service is top notch. A lot of people say the insurance is expensive. Where else do you get £25,000 a year cover? You get what you pay for in my opinion, and I am glad I took the policy when I did. Thank you Kennel Club for giving me the constant peace of mind!!!

Jenny was absolutely brilliant
Jenny was absolutely brilliant; incredibly informative, patient, and personable. I've had to cancel my renewal due to the price but Jenny explored other options and gave me really balanced and useful information even when it was clear I had to cancel - if superb customer service alone could've kept me then she'd have done it.

Today I spoke to Michelle regarding submitting a pet claim. Michelle spoke clearly, introduced herself, was calm and respectful. She was extremely helpful. In fact, I felt she went above and beyond to be helpful, which is rare in current times.
As I was not fully prepared for and did not want to take up Michelle's time. I requested I would ring her back when I had more information. She said she would give me a call back and she did. I could not be more satisfied with my experience today. Thank you, Michelle.

Great service, postcode levy policy is flawed be aware
Firstly, Shane who dealt with my call today, gets a 5 star. He was excellent.
However, RKC policy for charging based on postcode regardless of circumstances. In my case the vet charge more in my new post code area. Fair enough.
The fact I haven’t changed my vet, have no intention of changing my vet of 25+ years or the fact that RKC can see I haven't changed the vets I've always used for made no difference.
Consequently, RKC increased my monthly premium by over 20%. That gets a 1 star.
I understand the policy.
But if the post code changes but the vet remains the same. The justification given to make the levy does not exist.
On that basis, t seems more than a little unjust to apply the levy anyway.
I would have thought a company of the Kennel clubs stature would trear their customers better. Sadly, it seems they're just another insurance company.
