HTC 10 im Laden gekauft und nach 6 Wochen war der Akku bereits defekt. Ich habe es also zur Reparatur eingeschickt, aber leider kam es nicht wieder bei mir an.
Also sollte mir der Einkaufspreis ersetzt werden. Leider ist dies auch nach mehreren Monaten nicht passiert. Auch nach Einschalten eines Anwalts erfolgte keine Reaktion.
Das Geld werde ich also nicht mehr wiedersehen.
Es war mein erstes HTC-Smartphone und ganz sicher auch mein letztes.
Tut euch einen Gefallen und kauft nicht bei HTC ein!

What a nightmare. About 9 months after owning my HTC U11, the USB-C port stopped working properly affecting charging and the headphone adapter would no longer work. I sent the phone in for repair, 7 weeks later it came back... not fixed. Same problems. HTC wants me to send the phone back in again. At this point in time, most honorable companies would send a replacement. I will have had a functioning phone for 9 months of the 13 I will have owned it. Never again will I purchase an HTC.

HTC service is shocking.
I ordered a phone, only for the website to tell me my order had been rejected. I then proceeded to order a phone elsewhere and then later found out HTC had actually approved my order. Immediately I called the customer service asking them to cancel off which they confirmed they did. Next working day I received confirmation the HTC phone was still on its way. Spent all morning explaining that I no longer wanted the phone. Then they said, I should just send it back once I receive it. Got it back, and HTC do not have a straight forward refund/ returns process (which by the way does not comply with the E-Commerce Directive). You have to get in contact with their customer service who sometimes hang up the phone on you and do not send you complete information. I feel this is so the return period can lapse.

HTC sells one of the best products on the market, There devices are second to none, with great design teams, tech under the hood and an amazingly user-friendly innovation.

I've never had any issues with HTC in the 8 years have been buying the premium flagships and with an unlimited data plan means that HTC devices can live out their full potential.

This business listens to its community; it has its own user experience elevate programme where users of HTC can get involved in giving feedback to the teams at HTC, taking user experience to bring the best innovation and design to its products.

HTC has always been a company that brings simplicity to its products but with all the latest add-on and security so that the device becomes an extension of a person; personal technology has always been at the heart of HTC.

My phone caught on fire 5 months ago and HTC has had my phone for 5 months and can't give me an answer as to whether they are going to repair it or replace it 5 months!

phone stopped booting after a software upgrade
took 2 weeks to send it to them because they kept cocking up sending me the support tickets with their email sysytem
eventually got the phone too them.
got quotation saying it was non warranty damage, charge for new cameras, screen etc... for £550 total (when all it needed was its firmware flashing, could have done it myself in an hour if I had the right files)

TOTAL CONNING CHARLATANS

Awaiting on Three to give them a rocket up the proverbial. If that doesn't sort it going to have to look into consumer protection law.

They look like good phones for the money, and they are until they go wrong, but their business practices are appalling.

Have had my phone three months !!
1st repair as needed new battery under warrenty
Sent back with sd card slot changed, not battery !
Returned for repair again...... Sent by ups and unsurprising, it was lost !
Now been lied to daily for almost 2 months ,being promised new phone will be sent that day, then next day no confirmation email, so I phone again to be told "we are investigating, but will send you a new phone"
2 MONTHS !!!!!!!

I suffer from Dyslexia, my phone is basically my short term memory.
I have had an HTC M8s which has been faulty for over a year.
One of the problems that I have, is that its memory cannot be backed up, we have tried everything, but to no avail.
Phone not recognised by HTC software, have asked for advice from HTC, but have been going around in circles.
Now the attitude is, the phone is two years old, it’s at its end of life, goodbye!
UK consumer law states that a manufacturer has to support a product for a period of “six” years, Not Two!
So now have Avery expensive phone that has not worked properly since it was new and all I can do is throw it in the bin.

I have owned HTC phones for years, but never again, HTC seem to think that UK laws do not apply to them!

DON’T BUY HTC UNLESS YOU LIKE RUBBISH!

Recently had problems with my 23th month old HTC10 and battery capacity problems. I contacted HTC service via live chat and was offered a repair under the 24 months warranty with no quibble, a pre paid UPS label was duly emailed and I was asked to drop it of at a local UPS collection point, but as this was a few miles away they even offered to collect from my home address. I opted to take it to the drop off point. The phone was collected the same day and I received an email three days later to say it had been received. 8 working days later I received an email saying my phone was on it's way back to me via UPS.

The phone was in perfect condition when I sent and and returned in the same pristine condition, there wasn't a repair report unfortunately, but it looks like they have replaced the battery and the screen.

So having read some of the horror stories I thought I should share my experience, and to be fair it's been good.

take my advice dont buy a vive from HTC direct, their customer service is shocking i have spent over 3 hours on online chat trying to resolve order issues to no avail. everything i have been told & promised on chat simply hasn't happened.

after 3 days they told me stock i had been promised would be delayed so cancelled my order, now 12 days later they still haven't refunded my money nearly a thousand pounds.... !!!

One of the worst customer service experiences I've had since the internet began.

I bought a HTC U11 around when it came out in 2017 (July to be exact). Around one month ago (March 2018) it almost set on FIRE whilst charging!
They have refused to replace the phone, and instead will only repair it. It's been 2 and a half weeks and still no word on when I can expect the phone. They won't refund me. Spoke to the customer service, and they were literally the WORST customer service I've ever had the misfortune to come across! Incredibly rude and unhelpful.
I implore you, DON'T purchase from this dreadful company. I will never ever buy another HTC phone again.
EDIT: Quoted me hundreds on pounds to fix my phone, despite being well within the warranty, because I didn't send the charging cable with the phone (which they told me NOT to send, I must add!!) I ended up having to PAY HTC TO RETURN my phone to me, after them having it for about 4 months!! (Eventually I got my phone fixed on my insurance in the end, who repaired it in about 3 days).

I see a lot of people have had a bad experience with HTC. I have a one M8S phone and it's been the best phone I ever owned. My phone has received many software updates, the signal is the best I have ever had. Sound from the built in speakers is very good, and camera is great to. I really like the phone, but sadly the battery is starting to get weak. But in truth I have used it for internet a hell of a lot. If I could replace the battery, I would be happy to stick with this phone!

The u11 we have just brought cracked while my husband was using the squeeze function
Htc said that this is not a common issue
Then why does it come up as soon as you google it

Bought the HTC U11 Life (Android One) here in the UK, in good faith and promises from HTC that they would (a) deliver timely security updates and (b) software updates. Well its now the 20th of March and no security update has been provided. They cant provide an estimate for 8.1 either. Highly disapointed. Support dont answer queries properly, just generic answers. Really very poor service.

Ich habe mein Gerät für eine Garantiereparatur eingeschickt. Als das Gerät zurück kam waren auf dem Display unzählige lange Kratzer. Auch die Verpackung war nun verdreckt.
HTC behauptet nun, das wäre so gewesen. Für die Entscheidung musste ich fast 40 Tage warten.

Sent my phone for repair before as my microphone died. Got it repaired, however, there was a constant echo on the other side of the line (had to constantly carry around headphones to overcome this). Did enquire to get my phone repaired again but after the previous experience (took 1 and a half months) I just gave up.
Recently -my HTC 10 became unusable and constantly restarted when my battery reached 30% (mind you I was charging my phone 3 times a day as the battery had deteriorated terribly) and refused to stop restarting till I plugged my charger.
Contacted HTC and they were kind enough to escalate my repair (after I chased up 3 times to organise the repair). Send my phone to finally get repaired (they have a repair centre in Poland oddly enough?). Got an email a few days later telling me that in order to fix my in-warranty phone repair, my out of warranty issue would need to be attended to and I had to pay £150.
My screen had a scuff mark and in order to fix my battery, I had to pay to get my screen replaced. EVEN THOUGH ALL I NEEDED WAS A NEW F**KIN' BATTERY and no one was asked to take a look at my screen. However, they are refusing to look at my in-warranty repairs unless I paid them :) and if I did not want to pay them to fix my in-warranty repair, I still have to pay (£30 for administration and shipping costs) to get my phone returned to me.
A long time user since the HTC Desire who will not be buying another HTC again :):):).

HTC and HTC MEA.

I have bad experience with HTC MEA and Jovitronix Egypt, My mobile HTC10 has a small problem just to changing mobile battery now with Jovitronix was big problems caused by them and I have 6 months with them and still not fix it and I don't received my mobile till now!!!
no action taken, no responsibility and no anything !!!
What can I do with them !!?

Wie durch Zufall schmiert auch bei mir just in Time nach dem die Garantie abgelaufen ist, das Handy ab.
Ein HTC One M9.
So lange die Garantie lief, gab es keine Softwareprobleme.
Pünktlich zum Stichtag ist der Mainbutton defekt, das Smartphone stürzt ständig ab, hängt oder verbraucht 80% der Akkuladung in 30 Minuten.

Nie wieder HTC

I sent my phone, HTC 10 for repairs since 12th December, they sent me a quotation charging me for sim tray and sd tray which they asked me to remove when sending phone again even when it wasn’t part of the repairs agreed on. I paid it just to quicken the process so as to get my phone back as soon as possible. After paying the total price on the quotation which was more costly that getting a new one of the same model, HTC repair center returned my phone on 30th January without repairing it and never refunded my money. I called and sent a mail to customer service but they kept tossing me around.

Where do I start. I love my HTC 10 most suited Android phone for me. Love low lighting camera, htc sense etc perfect mix up. However since my phone passed 1 years old last August I've had nothing but problems. The phones been repaired 3 times and still faulty and htc refuse to replace as per consumer rights act they should be replacing or refunding the phone. Also they are trying to say for phone is out of warranty. (in the UK they advertise 2 years warranty (phones not even been on the market 2 years) as far as I can make out the first repair was for the motherboard and sim tray, second repair was for the screen, third repair for the motherboard and sin tray again. Each time they've dismissed the battery condition which has been awful since the first fault it got stuck in a boot loop and heated up like a hot potato and there was no way to stop it except allow it to drain the battery. I'm still arguing with HTC over the warranty period they are claiming is one year. They've also told me such repair has a 3 month warranty. The last repair was less than 3 months ago. Terrible customer service always 'escalating' but never any resolution from this. The problem is the only new phone on the market I like is the U11 but I don't want to be stuck with HTC again!
