My damaged car had not been completely repaired after an insurance claim so needed to be inspected to decide if the remaining damage was part of the claim. I was worried that the engineer might make this difficult and stressful.
When he came he was very understanding and reasonable made sure that the remaining repairs will be completed without any problems.

Fraudulent Company Cowboys

I waited for the engineer 2 weeks, to come and check mechanical issue on my car, when he came he took pictures of body damage to the car and didn’t even look at the mechanical fault. Speaking to the insurance company that have sent him they confirmed that he didn’t carry out his work properly. Now I need to wait for his report then most likely another wait for new engineer to come. Not helpfully at all, although he was told what he needs to check. Also he was very rude and unprofessional

The person that attend my address on Wednesday from hooper was top quality. He knew his stuff and got it all sorted very quickly. Unfortunately i didn't grab his name but what a credit to the company

After many disputes with Hastings insurance regarding my vehicle inspection, Natasha from hooper came out and verified the inspection and believed my vehicle is still road worthy im so great for this as the vehicle she inspected meant so much to me as It was gifted to me by my uncle, I had also spent so much on maintenance, Natasha was very professional with a lovely smile she explained everything thoroughly and answered all my questions and how the process works, so a huge thank you for the excellent service!

Easy to book an appointment.

Wasn't given a time slot for the assessors arrival, so difficult to play as n my day. Had to ring up and ask.

Assessor turned up was very polite and professional.

I was concerned given some of the reviews weren’t that positive but it really was a pleasant experience from start to finish. I was treated with respect, everything was explained clearly and all of my questions were answered. I didn’t get the result I wanted financially (write off) but it was the right decision, especially since my insurance company were querying the facts I provided, which included a dealership report. The insurance company followed up with me 2 weeks later, following the engineer’s advice. Only thing I would advise is just some confirmation by text that the appointment was confirmed because I wasn’t really sure they’d actually show up until I got the phone call.

I waited 2 weeks for them to come as there were no earlier dates available. They were supposed to arrive between 8am and 4pm, but I didn’t receive a single call or update – they just never showed up. Complete time wasters! I even skipped work just to wait for them!!!!!

Insurance contacted then to inspect my car and points that I reaise my concern, report from hoopes was that non of my concerns are real, after taking my car to main dealer and have a check up fount even more issues with the car, things that was fount on visual check.
Waste of time, definitely they are on garage side and insurance.

I was contacted by Martin Sanford and hour before he was arriving to give me a heads up and then again 10 minutes before arrival which might only seem a little thing but I found this really helpful as a lot of companies just turn up out of the blue with no warning and then complain when no one is home. Martin was extremely amiable and professional and explained everything in layman's terms which again was extremely helpful. If this is how all of Sidney hooper staff operate then they should be extremely proud. Excellent service

Arranged by my insurance company. The comms was excellent and everyone was extremely helpful. Mike, the engineer who came to visit the car was very knowledgeable and approachable. I was treated at all times with courtesy and respect. It was an absolute pleasure to deal with this company.

Arrived on time, courteous efficient , very positive experience.

Hoopers let me know the date when inspector would be coming, inspector called on day to let me know eta,was thorough and informative. Everything went great and have no complaints or issues

Do not trust Hoopers independant Vehicle assessors.
Use IAEA (Institute of Automotive Engineer Assessors) register first!
Hoopers are 'agents' of Direct Line and take huge amounts of work from DLG-Mobility and make sure the insurer minimises their costs.
Direct Line are liars who say that Hoopers are independent, you will get horrendous treatment and deformation in report.
Hoopers won't answer questions, wont supply report - Found to be in favour the insurer.
Assessor couldnt find or agree obvious faults shown to him with horrendous repair had another assessor make repairer correct faults that hoopers couldnt find or refused to find, like wrong tyres fitted!

So beware - the man might seem nice but he is not, he is on side of DLG-Repairer, wet behind the ears!
