We are a family business, owned by Ben and Kara Hanna, that values premiere, quality roses and the preservation of unique and rare roses. Located in the fertile Willamette Valley in Oregon, we are continuing the legacy of John and Louise Clements who founded the nursery back in 1972 on their own small farm. Our offices are still located in the farmhouse where they lived in St. Paul, Oregon. We are passionate about hand propagating each rose to ensure that we provide our customers with the best own-root roses available. We are committed to providing own-root roses that provide profuse blooms, are winter hardy, are disease resistant, and are true to variety. While own-root roses cannot be quickly produced, like grafted roses, we think the difference and quality is worth it.

Wonderful Quality

I love how well Heirloom Roses packs their plants for shipping. The roses always arrive in excellent condition! I have ordered over 40 roses, from Heirloom Roses in 2023, and they are all thriving!

Happy Customer!

Pros:
They offer free shipping!
It's easy to place an order (too easy).
My roses arrived in great condition and were packed securely in their transport box.
Cons:
Too many must-have, can't-live-without, to-die-for choices! (Which isn't a bad thing, if you have lots of money to spend and you want ALL the roses.)

Gift…

I gave this rose bush as a sympathy gift. The recipient loves roses and was delighted to receive this as a way to remember her mom.

Perfect Packaging!

My items arrived earlier than expected, packaged in a way that optimized protection for my plant. The rose itself arrived looking bright and healthy, and the planting material was packaged securely, with instructions clearly placed on the side of the packing.

Easy ordering but in stock reminder didn’t work

I really appreciate that I could schedule the delivery date and the roses arrived nicely packed.

I had requested notification of restock of several roses that were out of stock and never received those. The roses were in stock next time I went online, I added them to my cart, then they immediately sold out again, so that’s a little disappointing. Not sure why I never got an alert that they were back in stock. :(

Haven’t planted them yet but I’m encouraged by all the good reviews so I’m looking forward to that.
