I’m very upset with this company

I’m very upset with this company. My rose is dead and I simply want a replacement. I’ve called and emailed and still no response. The only reason I didn’t rate them a one is because one of my flowers is alive

Heartbroken

I purchased four bareroot hybrid tea roses last year and they did well. I winterized all of them properly, and did everything recommended for this year, including fertilizing and a once a week treatment of fungicide. Yesterday I had to destroy all of them due to the development of Witch's Broom. I don't understand how this happened given the weekly fungicide/insecticide as a precaution. And now to replace them, the bareroots that are available cost twice what I paid last year. Being on a fixed income, I can't afford to start again. I am completely heartbroken about the amount of time and care spent on these plants.

Rose came covered in white mold

Rose came covered in white mold. Wish I could leave a photo. Customer service assures mold won't hurt roses. Wash off and plant will be okay. Not sure I want to introduce this fungus into my garden! They were covered with a very thick layer all over canes. Does not seem like it just occurred in shipping - to much mold. Also now that the thick coating of mold cleaned off- noting black canes on roses with the severe mold. This is same day as received roses 5/29- not after planting! Not good. Ordered 5/21 - were shipped 5/22 - received 5/29 0730 and opened and cared for immediately.

The white coating sometimes found on dormant bare root roses is typically a naturally occurring mold that develops in the cool, humid conditions used to keep the plants hydrated during storage and transit. While it can be alarming in appearance, it is generally harmless to both the rose and your garden and can be gently washed or brushed away before planting.

That said, we understand that the amount present on your roses was concerning, especially after cleaning the canes and observing discoloration underneath. This is not the experience we want our customers to have. I am going to request your contact information through Trustpilot so I can look into this further and review the condition of the plants you received.

Long time customer

Long time customer. Always previously satisfied. NOT NOW. Ordered in Dec both roses bare root and quart. Bareroot arrived as scheduled and was fine. Quart size roses arrived late and were very undergrown and not very well rooted in the pots. At 84 I don't have the time to wait for them to mature .Nothing like quality of roses previously provided by them. Contacted the company and was I was ignored. I now have received endless number of sales announcements at large discounts. Its a fraud. They are cashing in on a prior excellent reputation. 05

Our potted roses are younger plants that are grown in containers, while our bare root roses are field-grown and typically more mature when shipped. We recognize that this distinction may not always be clear, and we are currently evaluating ways to better communicate the age and maturity of our potted roses on our product pages so customers can make informed purchasing decisions.

We also apologize that your experience left you feeling unheard. While we were able to issue a refund for the plants in question, it's clear that the resolution did not restore your confidence in us, and for that we are sorry.

What happened to Jackson Perkins quality roses

After buying Jackson Perkins for over 50 years I will no longer be purchasing them. The last couple of orders I received they died or wild roses have come up. Three of five of the last roses the canes were rotten and diseased. I have over 150 Jackson Perkins roses in my yard unfortunately will not be buying them anymore. I have never seen a company go downhill so fast I don't know what has happened but it's the end of the road for me for Jackson Perkins roses.

Worst company to deal with!!

If I could give them a "0", I would definitely do so!! I ordered five 1-gallon plants and received five 2-quart plants!! When I called them (it took 3 tries, waiting on hold for up to 30 minutes before an actual human in customer service answered the phone!), they told me that because I had opened the box, they would not honor their "warranty". How the heck was I supposed to know what was in the box if I didn't open it? I never took the products out of the box, but they still would not honor the warranty. This is a very disreputable company, and I would not recommend it to anyone!! Not only did they screw up my order, but they were also very dishonest with how they handled the warranty issue. Extremely disappointed and very angry with being treated so badly.

I placed an order in January & haven't…

I placed an order in January & haven't received any updates about it. Not on the website, not email nor text. I emailed customer service with a detailed message and screenshot of my order. The agent kept giving me the wrong info - clearly had me confused for someone else, not sure how though. She did apologize for the mix up, but then continued to get my email address incorrect which is odd because its the same email I was emailing her from. I told her that and then she stopped responding. I have no idea what's going on with my order.

They have not shipped my order nor has…

They have not shipped my order nor has there been any communication to my concerning the status of my order that was due to be deliverd here on March 25 Yet my order has not been shipped
By today the 27th of March.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.
THEY are charging very overpriced for the Roses. Also they are not growers just marketing. And so my order should have been here and now I just want it canceled and ti get a full refund.
VERY POOR AND FULLY ABSENT CUSTOMER SERVICE

Your order was placed on March 16 for the Zephirine rose, which is scheduled to ship in May. This timing is noted on the product page, though we recognize it may not have been as clear as it should have been at the time of purchase.
Because we only charge at the time of shipment, your order was not billed. When you requested cancellation on March 27, the order was canceled accordingly, and no charges were processed.

Terrible December Deliveries

I ordered 8 separate items in December and most were delivered either dead or marginal quality. I tried to get credit and have emailed and called for two plumbers months. The credit I am supposed to have in my account for only one of the orders is missing or I cannot find it.

I ordered about 10 bare root roses over…

I ordered about 10 bare root roses over the past three years. Everything was ok before 2025. Three of the roses I planted never grew. I first one was a Walking on sunshine and I sent a message and the plant was replaced. However, that replacement rose had very mildly roots and it wouldn’t grow. I lost another one around the same time. I know my roses, I have 36 of them. I know when and how to plant them. I probably won’t be buying anymore as by the time l pay $49 for the rose and shipping it’s darn near 60 or 70 dollars for one. So I bought this years roses from my local nursery.

A box of roses arrived with white mold…

A box of roses arrived with white mold growing on the roses. The ruses still had sine green stems so we planted them, gave them all the standard care but just of them did not survive. I contacted your company and got jo response. You used to be good with your guarantee, but now it seems to just be words with nothing behind it. Nit sure after 20 plus years of being a customer that I will buy from you again.

She said it appeared to be dying and sent me a picture of it. Thus I contacted Jackson and Perkins to request another, more viable plant and they replaced it immediately.
