As a disabled shared ownership resident…
As a disabled shared ownership resident with Guinness, they do not seem to care or take responsibility for any issues. I've been asking to get help moving to a ground floor property and i can't sell due to cladding work. All they need to do is grant me permission to sublet due to exceptional circumstances and I would be out of the issue. But they have taken nearly 3 months to say no, and now the lift to my 3rd floor apartment is out of action and has been for more than 24 hours. With no notification from Guinness. I would steer well clear if you're looking to purchase a property with them!

System not fit for purpose
Ridiculously long wait times on telephone
Won’t take calls between 8am and 9am unless it’s emergency which then means phone even busier when everyone calls back from 9am
Online account not fit for purpose
States quite clearly you can view and manage repairs which you can’t! Just made 2 attempts to get a call handler on live chat to be told by chat bot to log request on line when I’m not trying to log a new request!
No doubt the response to this will simply be to contact them! Useless!

Understanding, polite, and quick assessment
The lady on the telephone was very helpful as I didn't have a Guinness letter handy for my customer number. She did a video call so that she could clearly see the repair needed. I felt listened to and that she understood my concern on the damage that was present. A much better experience.
