I often listen to the radio via the global player app as background noise during work hours. Every so often the app freezes with the play and pause button flickering between one another, I restart the app and it resolves. More recently, the audio cuts out and the app freezes the entire phone - I cannot open up the most recently used apps feature, I cannot open up another app on the menu and it makes navigating the main app screen laggy and buggy. The app not only glitches itself, but it renders the phone unusable. The background changes, icons become unresponsive as a result I am unable to reset the phone.

What have you done? App changed today for the worse:(

Awful app. Glitchy, laggy, and constantly crashes meaning I have to reopen and find where I was in the programme again. For a huge media corporation having an app this poor is inexcusable.

I used to enjoy listening to Classic FM but now it's on Global Player I can't get it on live radio at all

I recently wrote a review regarding Global player, not a good review either, which I deleted. As I was having same issues as other people who were having these problems So, after looking into my problems l found my solution was that l had NOT actually downloaded the app but was just listening to Classic fm via an ordinary internet connection. Since downloading Global player app……perfect, I hope this helps others.

I used to listen to Classic FM on catchup but now that no longer works. Repeatedly asks me to disable my ad blocker, which I've done and it still doesn't work I've trouble shooted every fix and still yields the same message. It's done this on and off, sometimes it works and then it doesn't but now it doesn't play at all. Being outside the UK there's no way to listen to my shows very disappointed.

I have been a long-time listener to Classic FM, which was an independent radio station before being bought out by Global Media. The original app is about to be phased out and it has now been dumped into Globalplayer, along with loads of other radio 'stations', some live, most not.

This is a travesty for a great radio station that changed the way we listen to classical music. I don't want Classic FM lumped in with loads of others pop and news stations. This is a classic example of a big corporation trying to stamp its branding over everything and destroying the character of its products in the process. Maybe it's time to go back and see what BBC Radio Three is like these days.

The signal is rubbish , doesn’t work , and I’m incensed that I have to give my name , dob , etc , it’s an infringement of my personal data I only want to listen to Heart Radio on the internet I don’t want to sign up to global player , nor anything .
Being forced to sign up just to listen to my fav radio station is not ok for me .

Verging on useless. When I use it on my phone it keeps cutting out. The most annoying sound app ever. It doesn't happen with others so it must be a global player problem.. Please sort it out.

Love this app but for the last week it has kicked me out wont let me log in or reset password.

Time to move on. Its driving me mad

Worst app ever. Unable to listen to LBC for almost a month. Won't let me reset password despite making several attempts to do so.
Lost all my regular online searches as it advised me to clear data

Uses your mobile data so fast that you get through your monthly allowance in hours. While you are listening they transmit a video stream of ads and there is no way to switch this off.

Employ a person willing to tell the truth and then stick by them. Or just continue to please them . Or they Or I identify as a lamppost so do not refer to me as anything g other than con rete council light. Joke company.

I only really use it for Radio X and the Chris Moyles Breakfast show.

But really easy to use and of course brilliant content.
