Ik ben al langer lid van Gearbookers, maar door mijn drukke agenda kwam ik er eigenlijk nauwelijks aan toe om mijn gear te verhuren. De afgelopen jaren werkte ik bij twee startups en deed ik projecten voor celebrity brands, en inmiddels ben ik bezig met een grote transitie: van fotografie naar het bouwen van mijn eigen lifestyle brand.
Onlangs heb ik toch weer mijn gear via Gearbookers verhuurd – eerst in Amsterdam en daarna in Alphen – en beide ervaringen waren top. De communicatie met de huurders verliep vriendelijk en duidelijk, en het platform zelf is overzichtelijk, betrouwbaar en goed geregeld.
Voor mij is Gearbookers de ideale manier om apparatuur zonder zorgen te verhuren: veilig, verzekerd en met een soepele afhandeling. Ik kan het iedereen aanraden die zijn gear professioneel en zorgeloos wil inzetten.

De site oogt misschien wat verouderd
De site oogt misschien wat verouderd, maar alles werkt zoals het hoort. De verificatie duurde wat langer, maar uiteindelijk kon ik zonder problemen de spullen huren die ik nodig had voor mijn filmdag :) en daar gaat het tenslotte om!
Fijne prijzen, duidelijke service en dankzij dit platform heb ik ook nog een leuke zakenpartner voor de toekomst gevonden. Zeker een aanrader!

Works okay
Works okay, but not well optimized for the Danish market. Currency still not in DKK.
I think it's a bit tricky to personalize offers for other renters.
But I'm learning as we go!

The worst customer service I've seen…
The worst customer service I've seen for a professional company.
They have no number, no email, the only way you can reach them is through the online chat, which is configured poorly, waiting for 1 reply takes hours.
They wasted my time and energy, the ID verification system is terrible, not only it takes hours to review, they didnt even accept my ID despite giving them all of what they needed.
They rejected my UK passport + bank statement + a recent phone subscription, without even telling me the reason.
I wanted to rent a drone and had very little time; my online chat messages disappeared after every 30 mins. The overall website is designed poorly who ever designed the backend needs to be sacked.

Alles verliep heel vlot van begin tot eind. Er was ruim voldoende aanbod om uit te kiezen en de website is duidelijk en gebruiksvriendelijk. Communicatie en afhandeling gingen probleemloos, waardoor het hele proces zorgeloos verliep. Zeker een aanrader.

there is no clear way to cancel your order
This website is too complicated, and if you want to cancel your order, there is no clear way to do it.
Today, I went to pick up a camera, but since the camera seemed to have some issues, I refused to take it. We both agreed to cancel the booking, but when we tried to cancel it through the website, it seemed impossible. They've made it easy to extend a booking, but almost impossible to cancel one.
The situation is very stressful because there is no clear documentation on what to do in this kind of situation.
We also tried to contact them, but there's no email address available, and now we don't know what to do.
I regret using this website and am currently trying to find an alternative.
