Sideboard is lovely apart from....
Sideboard is lovely and matches our dining table, however, the unit came with, what can only be described as a film all over the wood making it feel sticky and unable to place ornaments on top in case it sticks to the unit.
One of the doors also has come unfinished ( a magnetic strip is not attached to the door)
The final thing was that the screws needed to attach the handles were too long for the width of the door.
While these may seem small things for someone like myself, these things are not easily fixed by myself.
These are not issues I expected to have to deal with.

Great Furniture and helpful
The furniture is great. An error was made in the order, not sure if ours or the store, but they are changing it for what we want. The delivery men were excellent and made it all up as we had paid for this. Would use them again.

Lovely addition to my living room, only a few details reminding that this is made of recycled materials. Particularly like the little drawers which are exactly perfect to store the CDs. Only one minor neg: the holes at the back are just a fraction too small to push a plug through (Dad’s wood file to the rescue).

Good stuff but improve your communication please
The problem with sending multiple reminders to review a purchase when we are still waiting for one item to be delivered is that you get a slightly grumpy review.
The bedroom furniture we bought is great quality at a great price and the guys who delivered it were polite & careful. Hence 4*, but ... there were two issues.
One was that they didn't unpack or take the packaging away. We were left with a mountain of boxes and packaging. Whilst I was able to deal with it, some might not be. I don't know if this service is available at a cost but it wasn't offered when we ordered nor when the delivery was arranged nor when the delivery was made.
The main issue was the poor communication about delivery date, the delay and that we are still waiting for one item. When we ordered on 2nd Apr we were told that the container was arriving 7th Apr into Birmingham. It would then be transferred to Doncaster and we would get it about 14th. All very vague by today's standards, just give us a clear date please. We then heard nothing until late April when we were told that it would be delivered 8th May (which it was). The lady who called was unable to explain the delay. They then called back on 3rd May to say that if the balance wasn't paid by 11am the next day then the delivery would be cancelled. There had been no communication about paying the balance at all or when it was due. We are still waiting for one item and whilst it's not urgent and I'm sure it will turn up, right now, I have no idea when that will be.

Firstly, please accept our most sincere apologies for the lack of communication and the delays you have experienced.
The delivery method on your order was just to drop the goods off without unpacking them and taking the packaging away. You are correct in assuming there is a cost for the service to unpack the goods and take the packaging away and I do apologise again for this not being offered to you. This feedback has been passed onto our warehouse manager.
In regards to your delivery date, your paperwork shows an eta of around 7 weeks. Again, I apologise that this was not communicated to you here and this is also being investigated.
We are really glad you like your new furniture and can see that the outstanding item has now been arranged to be delivered on the 25th of May to you.

17 weeks to deliver!
My order took 17 weeks to arrive! Was told it would be 5 to 7 weeks when placed the order and every time i enquired the delivery date had changed... havent been given a reason why. If i was told 17 weeks in the begining i wouldnt have bothered and i wont be using them again.
