I recently purchased a Fisher & Paykel range cooker and after many months of use have found it very lacking. The temperature control is very poor, you cannot select the temperature you need as it misses out 110, 130, i50 and neither can you select any midway temps eg 135 or 175 despite the fact that in the supplied user guide it recommends these temperature for various baking and meat items. ie Turkey cooked at 165 Chicken 175 Cake at 155 or 165. If you need the grill you have to heat the whole 90cm width as there is no way to use only half. The warming drawer barely heats and takes so long it is impractical. The hob does not heat an entire area marked on it only the middle leading to pans burning in the centre and not cooking around the edges. The timer is so quiet that with the oven running and an extraction hood on you cannot hear it. The shelves have to be removed for pyro cleaning even though the runners can stay in. The stainless steel surrounding the hob is so flimsy that even a saucepan touching it scratches. Previously I have owned Miele products and the quality and control is outstanding. I could never recommend Fisher & Paykel and consider this oven the worst kitchen purchase I have ever made.

Adam was a friendly, professional and knowledgeable engineer. Easy to organise his visit to advise on our fridge/freezer problem after moving house. Communication was excellent throughout the whole process - thank you ☺️

My dishwasher developed a fault causing a trip on my consumer unit. Adam arrived as agreed, diagnosed the problem, explored options and we agreed the outcome that suited me best.

Can't imagine how it could have been better service. everything is now working as expected.

The online booking facility for engineers is excellent.

I witnessed huge perseverance and skill in the repair of my refrigerator. Complicated issues that were successfully overcome and fixed.

tried to get someone to help with an urgent issue and they just have some useless bot telling you to read the manual or to book a (not cheap) service call out which will be in a months time. When you ask to speak to a person they just hang up on you.

Jiy was quick and efficient, tidy work too. I was kept informed regularly regarding his arrival time and he was in time. Fridge freezer now back to its normal working self!

Professional service. Great communication. Delivery team were exceptional. They went over and above to ensure our FF was delivered exactly. Would highly recommend and will use again.

In October 2025, I organised for a service engineer to come and look at my free standing oven. The visit cost close to £200

I bought this oven from Fisher and Paykel directly.

I filled in the form required to organise the service. I provided a great detail what the fault was and how it impacted the oven's performance.

I did not fill in the exact model number of my oven because this was deemed optional.

A very professional and polite engineer arrived and asked how long I had the oven. I said 10 years and said this is amazing as it looks brand new. Also he said he had never seen an oven like mine. I told him I bought it directly from F&P.

He looked at the oven briefly and agreed with me that the problem I was having must relate to couple of parts linked to the function switch. He said he would go and price these parts and come back to me. He also said there would be no charge for fitting these parts because my original fee covered this work.

Later in the afternoon he phoned me back and was very apologetic and said that Fisher & Paykel did not have any parts for my oven and that it was not possible for him to repair it. He also said he was embarrassed to make this offer but I could trade my oven in against a new oven and receive £250. It was clear he was very unhappy about being put in this position.

I contacted customer service to see if they would give me a partial refund given that they had not done anything with regard to repairing my oven but they have consistently refused this request. They have also shown no interest in my feedback relating to the CRM errors that led to this situation and the shocking customer service I have received.

This experience turned a very happy customer into someone who is very unlikely to buy one of their products again.

Dean just came on time to fix our dishwasher and he was quick and efficient and very good and very helpful. Highly recommended.

Ash was amazing thank you so much. Talked me through each query I had, showed me how each component of the fridge worked… and arrived early despite the heat.

Their product service is absolutely rubbish. I placed an order for a part, it gets sent about 400miles away to some random address by the looks of the pod. They don't get back to you, they say another part should be 2-3 working days, more chasing, will email warehouse who will apparently get in touch with FedEx.. presumably another 2-3 days. I say no send a replacement part out, but that seems too difficult. 5 days after we reported the issue (24/06), they actually send out a replacement.
Terrible service dont bother.

Ice machine in our fridge had stopped working so arranged an engineer visit via the Fisher and Paykel website very easy to book and lots of time and date options available including one in just a couple of days time. When the engineer came Adam Smith (tech 126). He was very knowledgeable, friendly and checked in afterwards to make sure the fix had done the job which it had, thank you very much.

Really disappointed, not worth the money and would not recommend.
Our Fisher & Paykel Wine Fridge could not keep to the programmed temperature in the summer and I was told it could not be repaired. The fridge is only 6 years old.
I have been recommend a Capel wine fridge that is a lot more reliable and a sixth of the Fisher & Paykel price. I cannot believe I still had to pay the Fisher & Paykel engineer £100 just to be told our fridge was not fixable! Avoid this company!

Avoid the water filter subscription service.
This review is about the poor online store subscription system for filters. We subscribed to this service six months ago as result of rising fridge water filters. With a new filter due we received an email confirming they have taken the credit card payment and that it will be despatched shortly. It never arrived, the F&P system showed a purchased status. Trying to contact anyone to help is a joke and their system appears flawed in executing this service. We still do not have what we paid for and don’t know if we’ve been scammed. I would not touch this subscription service with a barge pole. Come on F&P you can do better than this.

Overall good service. There were some issue around organising a delivery date but all well in the end. Their delivery team (andrei and Steve) were excellent.

The engineer Dean was very knowledgeable, efficient and friendly he immediately pinpointed the issue we had with our appliance, which he repaired and everything is now working fine.
