Disappointing customer service

Not the customer service I would have expected.
Got a different advisor every email and phone call, they said all the correct apologetic chat but didn’t actually help me with my issue.
Disappointing.

Terrible Customer Service faulty dishwasher

Purchased a Miele dishwasher with auto dos, 18 months later it started throwing faults up. As it was still in warranty I contacted the company we bought it from and they tried to fix it. Unfortunately, they couldn't and by this time, it was outside the 2 year warranty. Every time Miele customer service has called they either don't read the notes on my account or try and call me for something completely different. Eventually, we had an engineer come out and not only did he slag off the local distributors engineers he told us we have to put clean dishes in the dishwasher or it won't work. He left and the first time we used it....it broke again, with a different issue. Called up customer service and they tried to give me fees for someome to come out and fix the issue the engineer caused!!!! I logged a complaint that they didn't register, they lied to my local distributor about me saying I was calling them back. Now after an 'official complaint' was logged and I got a complaint number i was promised a call back in 48 to 72h. Well nearly a week later and I'm still waiting for that call. I might of got unlucky with a bad machine but the level of customer service from Miele is by far the WORST I have ever received. This will be the first and last time I buy from Miele. Good luck if you have to deal with their service team 👍🏻

Service department

Miele have great products.
I have used the service department a few times now. Always polite and efficient. The technicians are knowledgeable and have always been able to fix and repair my particular issues.

Excellent service engineer - poor parts delivery

The service engineer came to attend to our washing machine and did a great job in fixing it. Whilst he was with us he saw we also have a Miele dryer and he asked if he could check it over. To which we said yes please! He identified we needed a new filter which he kindly offered to order and we paid by card for it. It should be here in a day or so we were told. Five weeks later whilst we were on holiday it arrived.

I will never ever buy anotherMiele product

I bought my first Miele product today Guard L1 Dogs and Cats. I ordered it via Curry’s online. It arrived about three hours ago today their instructions their videos are useless – Miele’s. I had to look at an independent to make sure I did everything right. Turned it on no suction. Looked at the videos again check the bag check the suction hose thing check the filters that they’d all collected in place they had.. I thought that I probably hadn’t done something very simple and obvious, but I couldn’t work out what it was so I thought I would phone up the manufacturer because there’s got to be a technical team and somebody who could help or call me back at least. I spoke to 8 people at Miele. That wasn’t one person there who could help all they wanted to do Was repair it for me and I did say it probably wasn’t broken. I probably haven’t done something but I cannot see what the problem is. I just wanted somebody to just go through the basics with me then I would be happy to go through the rigmarole of sending it back after packaging it all back together again the last words were if I didn’t order it directly from them I would need to speak to Currys who should be able to help me! I will not be ordering anything that is that brand.

Very good communication

Very good communication. Timely and efficient service by knowledgable and friendly engineer. The required parts were ordered in advance of the visit to ensure the repair could be completed in one visit. Highly recommended.

Excellent service

Excellent service. Engineer arrived as expected and was focussed, efficient and helpful. As it happened it required a replacement machine which I now have.
