Great personalized service and loved having an assigned rep to communicate with. Stan Mitchell was great to work with and promptly answered questions and informed us of the status. Fast and easy application process. Achieved our goal of a lower rate and extended term over other offer received.

The application itself was thorough and self explanatory. Documents and statuses were easy to find and upload.

I’ve financed loans with a few vendors and this was the first where I had a dedicated representative who supported my case with updates on my status, documents I needed, and nuances to be aware of.

Stan, one of the Student Loan Advisors, was an absolute delight. He was active, attentive, and supportive and made the process so smooth with the underwriting team. They also were able to look at the rates of another loan I had and helped me refinance that one!

Assistant was great, and process was seamless. The rate I was initially given was the same as the one i was offered.

Refinancing, loans of any kind really stress me out, ELFI (and Credible) made this whole process really easy.

First off, lowest rates I could easily find. Huge win right there. Website and application process is pretty straight forward. I did have some questions and when I called the service number, spoke with an American speaking person immediately which was fantastic, she got me all sorted out. Once the loan application process moved forward, I was assigned a loan advisor (Stan!!) who reached out and helped me through the remaining steps and with any questions I had.

This process was so easy and quick I was amazed! My student loan advisor Kait reached out to me the next morning after I applied and explained the next steps and a timeline/what to expect. I had variable rate loans that were just getting unmanageably high and needed a fixed rate. I had looked into banking institutions in my area but found a much better rate and lower monthly payment through ELFI. The best part is that it only extended my original payment length by one more year. I can't say enough good things about the process, my student loan advisor really made this incredibly pleasant and easy. Kait emailed and texted me as soon as I was approved too which was really personal and nice given the automated world we live in now. I 100% recommend ELFI to anyone looking for student loan refinancing help!

Spammed with emails that are outdated for what is required of the loan. Still getting emails to sign and upload documents although everything is completed. The employee who was assigned to my loan didnt read my emails or provide any help. Took 4 emails for him to get an address right. Started at the beggining of January. Still waiting for the loan, so its silly to ask for a review and ITS STILL NOT DONE. Had better customer service at a dollar general. I would've cancelled and gone with a different compnay except i didnt want another credit score check. Sucks im stuck here now.

This was so easy!! My daughters payments with a private loan company were more than she could afford and we found ELFI and applied to refinance and got her payments and interest so much lower. It was so fast and easy and we worked with Kaitlin and she was very fast with responding and getting us done with in a few days!! We will be using them for our sons loans as well!!! Great experience.

This company will drag out the process of applying for your loan. Over the course of a month, they proceeded to send me on a scavenger hunt for information. Back and forth interactions were in place over the course of that month each time requesting another document or further information. All of this back and forth, just to inform me my application cannot be approved without a co-signer. This could have been concluded with the initial application information I provided regarding my DTI, and saved a lot of time in the process. They were great with that communication, but the process could have been expedited with my initial application since none of the additional information I provided was needed to determine need for a co-signer.
