Great Refinance Option
The company made it extremely easy to apply for a refinancing loan, understand my options and get through the approval process quickly! You see the other reviews about Stan and it all was true! Stan was responsive and attentive to the required documents that I needed to submit to be approved!

Communicative and Clear
ELFI was incredibly communicative throughout the whole process. There were (and still are) LOTS of issues with the bursars and financial aid office at my college, but Erik and company made it very clear what was happening from their end, what they needed from me, and what issues they were having with my school. I greatly appreciate their transparency and speed throughout the process.

Had my co-signer denied when she exceeded every qualification for them by some margin, had to redo my entire application, and now have an extra hard credit check on my report that will take 2 years to drop off. Thanks for that ELFI !

Great customer service
Great customer service. Erik Hill was amazing and truly set me up for success. There's finally light at the end of the tunnel in regards to my student loans and it would not be possible without ELFI.

Harder than it needed to be, but it’s consolidated now
The individual I worked with seemed confused on just about every document I needed. Each day for about two weeks should would ask me for an additional document, vaguely describing what she needed. I would then provide the document she described only to be told I was wrong. It was only then that she would request a specific document by name rather. It wasn’t clear if the employee was under trained or just didn’t care. Either way she made it harder than it had to be. In the end the loans are consolidated at a better rate.
