Worst experience I've had in my entire life at a tire shop. They overcharged for the tires. They can't do alignments or anything. It took them over three hours to even get to my car. Then, when they were finally done, they tell me they mounted the overpriced new tires and rotated them to the front...AND THEY MOUNTED ONE OF THE NEW TIRES ON A BENT RIM, IT CAN'T BE BALANCED, BUT THEY STILL ROTATED IT TO THE FRONT! They also lied and said they'd screw in the two Philips set screws I brought with me for my rotor since they'd have the tires off anyway. They said the rep I spoke to and paid initially never relayed the info, and they wouldn't have done it anyway because they don't do mechanical work. So they can screw lug nuts, but not two little screws with a screwdriver. To add to this, I nearly wreaked leaving because they put the one new tire with a bad rim on the front with one of my imd tires, and one new one on the rear opposite side. I hit the gas, and the car pulled hard to the left (new tire side, of course), I let off the gas, and it pulled hard right (older worn tire). Pure stupidity to pair a new and old tire on a front wheel drive car. I had to stop at a parts store to jack my car up and finish properly rotating my tires to make the one hour drive home. These morons should be sued and shutdown for incompetence!

I went in because I had tire low on pressure and my light was burning on the dash. When I got there at 3:15PM I was told there was 2 people in front of me. An hour and 15 minutes later I was told that they had a lot of appointments show up but I was still
on schedule fo 5:08PM. At 5:08 they told me they had a lot of call in appointments and they were automatically moved to the front of the schedule. And that I would be taken care of by 5:30PM. They finally came and got my car and moved it into a stall. 10 minutes later came and told me the tire was unfixable. To call in and make an appointment is a good thing because you can wait at
home until your appointment. But you shouldn't be put in front of customers that were there before you called in. You should not automatically be moved to the front of the line. I will never shop at the Discount Tires in Burleson Tx again.

The personalized service from the very beginning , starting with phone conversation was beyond reproach. The customer first rule is in practice during every aspect of my visit . From the updated communication by phone to first meeting at appointment time the staff is knowledgeable and so friendly . Tire prices were as advertised , the labor done in timely manner , the techs are as friendly as ever . I speak from experience , owning an automotive business for 22 years , dealing with the public and car issues , I can tell you this Discount Tire in cartersville ga. Does it right , top notch . I’d recommend this business to anyone in need of tires , or service . It was a very refreshing experience I must say . Thank you

I had to special order my tires-no biggy. While on the phone I requested to make an appointment and was told no just come to the store and we will take care of you. I went the day after I was notified the tires arrived and waited 20 mins before a sales rep spoke to me and was told I had at minimum a 1 hour wait. I declined as I had kids with me and that was not ok for the schedule I had that day. I came back 3 days later and was paid in full in about 10 mins and was told they would be with me shortly to get my 2 tires mounted. I’ve been waiting on my car with my kids for 1hour and 45 mins and still no service member in sight. They were certainly ready to take my money but as for physically doing the manual labor of getting my tires handled up on….I’m pretty annoyed. This is the first time I have ever had this problem at this location and I’ve been a loyal customer for 5 years with at minimum 2 visits per year for tire maintenance/purchases.

I was at the store in Kirkland Washington. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was looking to install some mag wheels on a older car. The rims were a uni-lug design so they were unaware how they worked. They typically don't make this style much anymore however, they were very open to learning about them and making sure I was getting the right wheel washers that were needed to adapt to adapt them to fit my vehicle. I have purchased many tires from his store just because of my interaction like yesterday with the staff.

I went to the new store in Montgomery TX. Just wanted my tire air checked.
Very poor planning for whoever designed it.
There is a small outdoor bay for air checks. I have a Ford f150 and had to jump the curb to get my truck in the bay. The parking lot does not go around the building so I won't be taking any of my trailers here. Trying to back out with incoming vehicles will be a chore so I won't bother. Very poor planning.

I have been a loyal customer of Discount Tire for many years, always valuing their commitment to quality and the exceptional warranty they offered on their products. For $25, I could purchase a warranty that covered road hazard repairs for free, a hallmark of their service that ensured my continuous patronage. However, my recent experiences over the past two years have severely tarnished my opinion of a company I once held in high esteem.

While I was out of town, I had my uncle purchase a set of four new tires from Discount Tire for my car, anticipating the same seamless experience I had always enjoyed. To my dismay, this has marked the beginning of a series of frustrating and concerning encounters. Every time I brought in a tire for repair, instead of receiving the prompt and efficient service I was accustomed to, I was told the tire was irreparable and had to be replaced. Each replacement came with a hefty $70 bill to repurchase the warranty, a stark contrast to the $25 I was used to.

Having spent $1400 on a new set of tires, I find it unacceptable that I should have to incur additional costs so soon, especially considering the tires had only accumulated a few thousand miles. Shockingly, I have had to replace all four tires within this short span of time. Recently, I was informed that the Pirelli tires I had bought were discontinued due to weak sidewalls, requiring me to wait a week for a replacement. This revelation shattered my trust in the company, as I had expected to be sold only the highest quality, safest products.

To compound my frustration, the replacements I received appear to be different from the originals, possibly narrower, and likely the source of my ongoing issues. The mismatch not only undermines the aesthetic appeal of my vehicle but also raises serious safety concerns. I feel betrayed, having invested a significant amount of money only to receive subpar products and service.

Discount Tire has not only let me down but has also jeopardized my safety. The confidence I once had in their ability to provide reliable, high-quality tires has been completely eroded. I am left with a profound sense of disappointment and concern for my wellbeing on the road. As a lifelong customer, I never expected to be treated with such disregard, and I urge others to reconsider before placing their trust in a company that has evidently lost its way.

Horrible service at ih 35 near fm 3009 . Gave the guy full information on my tire on phone Bridgestone alanza 27560r20 said it was in stock . Drove 45 miles arrived and the idiot said he has Bridgestone duehler tires and asked do I want it ..I have a 2024 silverado with 3 good tires 1104 miles on them . My new tire had road damage . Why would I want unmatched tires ? Then they said the tire would arrive in 2 hours it is now 3 hours and 10 minutes and no tire arrival , no apologies , not even installed which will take even longer . Complete liars and will never come again

I used to buy at Discount Tire because of their Nationwide Warranty and because of how well I’d been treated in my former hometown. Not anymore, not only was I presented with my vehicle as having my service being completed (when in actuality only one of three requests had been done - and only two were printed on my receipt) I really got the feeling I had been lied to. Special thanks going out to Jakob and Nico on 116th & Metcalf in O.P. for showing me not all Discount Tire outlets the same.

A 4/17/24 update to yesterday's review:
Though I'd really hoped to leave a 5-star review, they lost another star today after I noticed another mistake. When they removed the one tire that didn't match the other three and replaced it with the correct tire, they neglected to remove the valve stem cap from the wrong tire and put it on the right tire. Luckily, I had some extra ones at home. My advice: before you leave Discount Tire, check their work and check EVERYTHING, because they aren't going to.

4/16/24 The last time I bought tires from Discount Tire was several years ago, and the experience was not great. This time I'd found a good price at Walmart but feared their installation people, so I submitted a price match request to Discount Tire and they matched it. I braced myself for another bad installation experience but kept telling myself this time would be different--it was going to be great!

Discount Tire (7450 S. Virginia St, Reno, NV) said they had to order the four tires from multiple warehouses, so they called me a few days later when the tires arrived. At my appointment I asked the person who checked me in to have the four tires installed on the car but save my old rear tires and put them in the back seat of my car. He said that would be fine.

A short time later (15-20 minutes?) the technician told me my car was ready! Amazed at such fast service, I was thinking "FIVE star review!" but that changed as soon as I saw the car. My old tires were missing from the back seat and when I inspected the new tires, I found only three of them were the tires I'd ordered; the fourth was a different tire.

I was afraid they'd never received the fourth tire, but after another stint in the waiting room, I was told my car was really truly ready. This time all four tires matched and my old ones were in the rear seat, and you can be sure I checked to make sure those were the correct tires, too.

Unfortunately, I cannot leave a 5-star review.

Been using Discount Tire in Phoenix for >20 years.

They no longer book early appointments, booking starts later in morning.

Therefore, people waiting for free things or fixing things get in first. When we made an appointment, was told time it would be done.

Wife and I went shopping across street, returned 45 minutes later. Car was no in stall yet.

They were 45' to 1 hour behind at 9:15. How can that be?

The reason: they do not honor appointments in the two South Phoenix locations. They say they do, being an hour behind is not honoring an appointment.

I called discount tire yesterday to request an appointment for this morning so I could get my tires looked over and refilled before I went to work. The only star I took off was due to them not able to make an appointment for me in the morning as it was “too early”, but this wasn’t really a problem for me after all because they got my issue handled within 10 minutes and I was on my way! Great customer service, and so fast!

I buy all my tires here, so I am VERY familiar with Discount Tire. Their after-the-sale services like rebalancing, rotation, and flat fixing are all free. Even including about $25 per tire of made-up fees, they compete very well on price against anyone.

However, they're very annoying about trying to upsell you things you don't need. I always skip the optional extended warranty; the one time I needed it (and had paid for it) my 16K-mile tires were "too worn out" to replace (according to the Longmont Colorado Discount Tire store).

Recently they've started to branch out. It was bad enough when they started pushing wiper blades. On my last visit, after finding out that I had already had new tires and wiper blades, the clearly-disappointed sales guy tried to sell me new lug nuts. I would encourage anyone to STRONGLY push back against wiper blades, lug nuts, extra tire warranties, or whatever other extra-money-making scheme they have thought up lately. This is the kind of "bright idea" that bean-counters come up with. It's hard to measure the cost of making customers mad, but it's real. Something the bean-counters never include in their calculations.

In Fayetteville, NC....this place rocks! I had an appt to get 2 new tires put on. When I got there the parking lot had at least 15-20 cars parked in the lot and at least 15 people working. Everyone I heard speak had a positive, fun attitude...some even joked with me. Salesmen, techs, flunkies...all spoke well and were busy doing things. I was in and out in 45 minutes with 2 new tires. Impressive.

I always go here because the prices are great and we get free tire rotation every 3,000 miles plus if any holes in the tire or issues they repair for free. Great fast and friendly service.

It was in March 2020 I took my F150 Ford Truck to Discount Tires in Casa Grande Arizona they are owned by America's Tires one in the same California America's Tires and in Arizona Discount Tires same company.
I wanted to get my tires rotated and balanced and was told by a service manager , we dont do that service anymore because of the Virus and he went on to say they were only selling new customers tires and rotations. Now I reminded him that I had purchased a set of four tires and I purchased the Warranty of Lifetime of Tire Balancing and Rotation of my tires at his
tire shop, he just said No than I said I want a Refund on what I had paid for and he said No and just walked away from me!
Understand my frustration I have been a loyal customer of this company in two states for over 24 years letting them service my autos which i have always had 3 or more!
Now i am doing business with my auto dealer wondering why I left in the first place, it was for a better price and quicker service that does not apply anymore! My dealer has any kind of tire you want , will beat anyone's prices , give great service I dont have to wait hours long, I get full service not part of it they not only rotate and balance my tires I get a free wash job and they offer me a front end alignment which when you compare the out come of your tires tread life you will find that Discount Tire wants you to wear your tires unevenly so they can sell you more tires prematurely thats why they dont offer a front end alignment compared to your Dealer which wants you to get 100% of wear from your tires and not uneven wear that way you get the mileage out of your tires and save a lot of money.
I dont know about what anyone else is going to do but for me the choice is SIMPLE; The Dealer gets my Tire business.

Highly recommend Discount Tire. You may pay a little more, but it is worth piece of mind when you travel to know they stand behind their work.

Great service and price on tires for my motor home. Excellent program for pro ration of price due to wear beyond rated miles per tire. The store in Nevada and the store in New Mexico have been excellent businesses for offering service by well trained employees.

This is my 2nd experience. My first experience with this Tire Depot in Lilburn GA. I had a wheel that I was told need to be replace. Took it to them and it was just a little bent. They save me from buying a new wheel. My 2nd experience , At first I was Very Mad at them for quoting me the wrong price for the size tire and wheel, that was needed for my daughter car. No problem they honor the same price. Ok all good until we get a call saying that all the tires need to be replace. Hold up. Rap it up we are done. No. Tire Depot honor the same quote. Now that is outstanding customer service. I will do business with this location for now on. Happy customer.
