This company is a scam. I paid and they sent me the address for a location that does not exist. When I arrived for my lesson, I learned that there was never a lesson booked. I asked the company and they claimed to have sent me an email canceling the lesson and refunded my money. Neither of those things ever happened. I have been reaching out to customer service, and I am receiving no response to my numerous emails. Stay away!

We arrived at the Bologna cooking course destination to find the evening cancelled. Hopeless communication between the company, us and the chef. A high spot of our holiday ruined. Company refunded the cost but not our taxi travel costs. There’s an opportunity for a decent company in this market. Curioseety are useless.

My trip was canceled without explanation or options and it is 5 months away.

Alberto è un insegnante bravissimo. Simpatico, interessante e con una cucina pulita e bellina :). Abbiamo imparato come si fa il pesto autentico genovese e la pasta picagge malte…entrambi erano fantastici e abbiamo passato un pomeriggio perfetto :)

Alberto is a great teacher. He was kind, interesting, and had a lovely, clean kitchen. We learned how to make authentic genovese pesto and pasta, it was a perfect afternoon!

I was having issues with my card but I got confirmation email, and additionally I emailed to confirm tour and got a second confirmation and then we showed up and no one was there, had to completely change day was very upsetting.

Unclear when making booking how to identify my hotel for pick up, even though the website clearly says hotel pick up is available. My email two weeks ago to the email address on the website asking to be picked up at my hotel has not been replied to.

Irene made the experience wonderful. Very open, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and patient. There were 7 participants in the group in her family home and we all had a great time. We made 3 types of pasta. She had already made the sauce, so after we cleaned ourselves up, she cooked our food while we sat down to some local Italian wine and conversation.

Really wonderful experience with Adriano, so much care, attention to detail and passion about food, cooking, history and culture. We were made to feel part of the family and learnt so much, how to make pasta and so much more. Followed by an amazing Italian meal with wines bread and a delicious torte. Our family party of 9 will never forget this unique experience. Thank you - Grazie Millie - Adriano

I booked a cooking course for 5 people in Taormina with Curioseety (for Chef Stefano). I booked 11 days in advance and it was confirmed. We showed up at the appointed time and place, and the chef never showed up. I tried to call them, but they did not answer their phone (it was just after 10am – well within business hours). I was finally able to contact them by email, and got this response "Sorry but we completely forgot about this Booking. I can check for tomorrow or refund you now I am really sorry but we have some issue with the manager of the bookings." I told them that we were not available on an alternate day and that we had driven here for this course and that they should figure out how to arrange a course today. Some time later I got the message "Sorry Paul i have to cancel and refund you then. I m really sorry i did not see the Booking. And the chef today Is not in town." Needless to say, getting the money back was hardly the point. We were looking forward to the class, and now we would completely miss out. We also wasted a day of our vacation driving to the class location. I was especially sad for our friends who we had invited. Totally inadequate service. What tour operator “forgets” or “does not see” a booking. I have had tours cancelled before, but always with advanced notice. They had 11 days!! There is no excuse for this. BEWARE THIS OPERATOR, and also Travelocity, who I booked through and who confirmed the tickets without actually assuring that the operator followed through.

Lisa & Fabio sono molto gentile e passionati da cuoco! Non solo abbiamo fatto le paste, ma abbiamo cenato insieme nella giardina con buon vino e conversazione. Loro anche hanno incluso altri cibi dalla Puglia. Questa casa è disponibile per il soggiorno.

The views were amazing! The host lady was very friendly, food and wines super and would recommend! One of the best things we experienced in Lake Como.

I ordered and paid for a winery tour on October 5th. I was told I would receive a notice letting me know if my request was accepted or denied. I never heard back from the company. I called the winery and they said they were booked. Inever received my refund.
