The Jeep journey through Carrara marble Quartiers itself was great! But organisation was poor: we booked and paid the tour 2 weeks in advance, but at the meeting point there were no seats for us confirmed! Tour guide was nice and could organize another jeep and driver, so we were lucky at last.

The experience was overall very disappointing. The food was stodgy and flavourless. We cant say that we learned anything new. The best part of the evening was to meet fellow travellers

We did the 'lion hunt' in Venice and had an awesome time. Our guide was amazing with our three young boys and it was the highlight of our trip for each of them. It was a great way to see the city and get an in depth understanding for the parents, while keeping the kids engaged and entertained.

I booked a cooking class at 8:30am for 11am. They messaged me at 10am saying that it was too short notice to organise the class, so they cancelled it. They refunded me a couple days later but refunded £8 less. I don’t see why I should lose any money at all for a class they cancelled. I wouldn’t recommend.

We would have gone 5 stars for our chef, Lorenzo! But we were almost left behind on account of Curioseety neglecting to communicate with him that we were part of the day's group. If the logistics go off without a hitch, it's a fun way to spend the say.

In Venice…….Where to begin. There were five of us crammed into the cooks apartment. I say cool because that’s what he was. Not a chef or someone with knowledge of the products. All of the products we used to cook with were bought at the supermarket, in plastic
Containers and not of the highest quality. I was under the impression we would have some Prosecco and appetizers while we “cooked” No Prosecco was offered. A bottle of wine unlabeled that the cook said was merlot was offered.the extent of our cooking was peeling potatoes and cutting little artichokes into Pieces and cutting salad! And we peeled a squash after it was microwaved. That was pretty much the extent of our cooking. We got no printed recipes that say how much to use or prepare each product. The tira misu we made was awful as the coffee was too hot so the cook put some ice cubes in the coffee and when we dipped the biscuits into the coffee they drank up the water from the ice making the desert very watery. Terrible!
. Overall very disappointed. Very unprofessional. Not worth the money at all and will not recommend. Do yourself a favor and spend your money someplace else. You can thank me later.

Julia gave us a great food tour of Lisbon! She was informative, friendly, and engaging. We were able to explore different areas of the city and have some great food. Would highly recommend.

I did not receive my payment back after cancelling it correctly!

unfortunately we had to cancel our cooking class but they were very good about returning our payment very quickly

Our booking for a cooking class was cancelled without telling us why and we were offered a different class without describing where and what it was exactly.
Emails were super short unfriendly and didn’t answer any of our questions.
They in general seem to take the booking and the money first and then check availability because the cancellation happened to a friend of mine a couple of days after.
Can’t recommend and won’t book through this site again.

We booked this experience for a cooking class in rome. We were traveling from the US and didn’t know what to expect. The host welcomed us into her home and taught us traditional pasta making. This was a very authentic experience and we learned many nuances and tid bits. The pastas turned out tasting amazing and the whole experience was wonderful. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing experience in Rosa's cooking class in Venice. Rosa welcomed our family into her lovely house, and we had a great experience cooking (and eating!) Both Rosa and her helper Sophie were extremely welcoming and we had a great time of very good laughs and excellent food. We highly recommend Rosa's cooking class!

Informative and fun class. The wine tasting was excellent, served with some lovely small plates and all ended with a delicious meal. Thoroughly recommended.

Boat trip showed as available. Captain called two hours before to let me know the boat was previously reserved. Ruined my day. I’m writing this review because I received an email asking me to review my experience.

The tour was oké but the guide didn’t receive the booking so we had to wait and see if there was room for us in the Jeep. We paid for a tour including lardo tasting but we didn’t do the tasting.

Was in a private apartment which we were unaware of when we booked.
He was quite a nice gentleman but his apartment was very small and very very unclean.
With the price we paid we expected a more professional experience

This place should not be even listed. The experience is given by middle age man with a special character, who gives the class in his old, dirty apartment. I wanted to use the toilet before leaving but just by the looks of the walls and surroundings I preferred to wait. The guy has good experience to share but in this location, for two young ladies, it was uncomfortable from start to finish.

Another world.
This tour is totally worthwhile. We learned a lot and saw things we could not ever see anywhere else in the world. The trip is a full two hours and the ride can be a bit rough. We were fortunate that only 6 people signed up because we were on the benches at the back of the Land Rover; with eight people there would be 4 in the back area.

Our guide, Heike, was very knowledgeable about the area’s history of mining since Roman times and entire modern operation, including the very odd ownership arrangement for the quarries.

This was well worth the time and cost.

Three recommendations: use the bathroom beforehand, take some water and dress to get messy if it’s raining.

The best day! We had such a lovely time, it was very relaxed and the food was delicious!!
