Disgusting Insurance company. Was mislead by GOCOMPARE who give them a 5 Star Defaqto Rating when in fact this is for the owning company Covea. I purchase a full home insurance policy always. I pay extra to have Accidently Damage on both Building and Content and also add home emergency cover. The only time i've needed to call them was when is was raining heavy and my guttering had been loosened. When I called the Emergency cover I was told because it's considered storm damage my actual gutter cover is in fact not covered for that. Let me ask when other than when it rains would you ever need protection for your gutter. Stay away and never use this company.

The call handler made several mistakes during the call. She said she would try and arrange for someone to come out but due to the weather she might not be able to for there health and safety. Then she retracted and said she should be able to get someone out but we would need to wait upto 4 hours. Then we was called back half hour later to be told we was not covered as they considered it as storm damage.

still no response from this company i will be cancelling my direct debit and going with another company

Very careless. This was my insurance and tried to blame me for the accident when it supposed to protect own client.
Solicitor of the third party was more helpfull and in the end was non fault accident
I tried to contact computerquote agai but i was ignored.
Never again . Useless

Terrible customer experience, cancelled my insurance from multiple assumptions about my property. Would not advise if possible.

I knew this policy was of poor quality when I took it out but because of some unfortunate claims in the last few years I was left with little choice between this and paying through the roof.

I realised I had only been sent a policy summary, not a full policy wording, which is a ICOB requirement and emailed them in December 2015 to get the document. Never got a reply. Emailed again in January 2016. Never got a reply. This is in line with the instructions on their website.

Emailed them again now telling them not to bother sending me a renewal. I would rather pay through the roof for my next policy than deal with these clowns.

They don't keep the policy and when you have to make claim there is always a excuse.

We used these last year (2014) and the quote was good and service good.
Had renewal through which is a fair price and includes buildings and contents, emergency cover and legal protection.
Have done all the usual online searches for quotes and not one company gets near,that will do me for 2015/16!!

Cancelled my policy and they sent me red letters asking for money for a months service, lost out on my 3 years NCB due to their mess up.

ONLY just got my NCB proof from a different insurance company

Needed to cancel my policy as they were not able to provide a quote for my new vehicle
Like the other reviewer the staff were rude, totally ignorant of the law and failed to respond to repeated email requests for information
Give them a wide berth!

I went on money supermarket and they came up cheapest, however I decided to cancel the insurance as did not give the level of cover I wanted. So I went back to my trusted insurance of 2 years. 3 months later they sent me the first ever letter to say that we owed them money as the policy was not cancelled. Advised have proof of alternative insurance, response 'that doesnt mean anything to me'. Rude arrogant staff that get you with the prices, but cost you more money!
