Exceptional service and customer care from City Plumbing Wolverhampton

I can’t praise the team at City Plumbing Wolverhampton enough. I was looking for a radiator that was an unusual size, and unfortunately it wasn’t something they had in stock. However, rather than simply telling me they couldn’t help, the team went above and beyond to find a suitable radiator for me.

In particular, Reese was absolutely fantastic. He went out of his way to source the radiator I needed and arrange for it to be delivered. He kept me informed throughout and genuinely seemed determined to find a solution, despite the unusual requirements. That level of commitment and personal service really stood out.

The rest of the staff were also extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. Everyone I dealt with was professional, approachable and clearly focused on making sure I was looked after.

It’s refreshing to experience this level of customer service. City Plumbing Wolverhampton didn’t just provide a product — they took the time to understand what I needed and did everything they could to help me get it.

A huge thank you to Reese and the whole team. Excellent customer service, great communication and a real customer-focused approach. Highly recommended!

Carmarthen branch - up until point of sale, the service was very good and we would have been very happy to recommend. Sadly that is not now the case.
Delivery of items was very poor.
Numerous phone calls to chase missing items, only to be told they were in the warehouse or at a different store. Phone calls were not returned when promised.
After sales service is a big thumbs down from us.

As a rank amateur at plumbing, I was very pleased that Matt in the Dorchester branch took the trouble to find out exactly what part was needed, and then managed to obtain it for me. Good service indeed.

I worked for this company for 5 years and gave my all but at the end of the day you are only a number to them.i was made redundant with 30 days notice i believe because i needed time off to look after a disabled family member.the holiday was agreed through the company online system so I booked and paid for it.a few weeks later I was told I couldn’t have it but after a meeting with a boss i took it but they wasn’t obviously happy about it.this company obviously doesn’t care about disabled people and I believe that was why I was made redundant.beware people

I’ve absolutely no reason not to give City Plumbing in Newton Abbot anything else but 5*. This was the most efficient selection of components for a whole new bathroom I’ve ever experienced. In one hour see selected everything from floor, wall tiles, sanitary ware, vanity unit and shower fittings, but at no point did we feel rushed. Victoria Locke was focused, asked the right questions and helped us identify exactly what we needed for our space. We are delighted either the result - and the cost. To be highly recommended.

I purchased a IFLO RHEA toilet pan and seperate cistern from city plumbing 18 August 2026. The page description had a picture of the product, which included the toilet seat. The bullet point description of the product included that it had a soft close seat. I expected that because the page advertising the product had the seat pictured on the pan, and described as having the seat, that the seat was included. I bought in good faith, but the product did not include the seat. When I complained to City Plumbing I was fobbed off with a disingenuous rebuttal. This has cost me money and time. I think that City Plumbing is trading dishonestly.

Ordered online for next day pick up from Chester. Never received text to say it arrived in store, so did not pick up. Money has not been returned and email complaint ignored. Need to go down the chargeback route with Paypal.

Ordered a Worcester boiler pack on 27/08/2026 and as of 02/09/2026 still no update. Advert said next day delivery available.Tried the email link twice and get reply that they are busy. Rang and cancelled over the phone 01/09/2026 and was told I would get email confirmation. Still waiting for email and order still showing pending on account. Avoid ordering online.

Made the purchase at city plumbing barking at the bathroom showroom had a really helpful manager Jai made everything so easy, even when I changed things later down the process. Very reasonably priced, on parr with Wicks but better quality.

Opened a trade account and also received email saying 15% off next trade purchase. Tried to make purchase of Mira digital controller for over £600 and trade price no different to non trade customers. Also 15% discount code dissent work either. Spoke to local branch in Durham who said need to ring head office. Head office says nothing to do with them need to speak to local branch. Total waste of my time and effort so will be closing the account and taking business elsewhere

While internet shops said the item would be available in 2 -3 days, City Plumbing had it on the shelf, ready to buy, in under an hour.

A quick nip across town and - job done.

I ordered a COM301 safety release valve from City Plumbing on the 5th of August, It was showing as "in stock" It was duly dispatched via DHL the next day on 24hr. delivery for which I paid a £9 premium. It was order number CPS36649377 (if your looking city plumbing) and tracking number 60120254496177 (if your looking DHL)
I am writing this review on the 23rd August.
To date I have still not received my order!!
After numerous, and I mean numerous emails to City Plumbing. I am no further forward. All I get are platitudes, and basically fobbed off.
As my contract is with City Plumbing and not DHL I have now on 3 separate occasions request a full refund of all monies paid.
None of these emails have been replied to, let alone actioned.
I find the customer service an absolute joke. I would never consider using them again.
I have since sourced the item from elsewhere and had it fitted.

1st visit to city plumbing, granted its a Friday and 1630 in the day but I went in, walked up to the counter and there are 3 men going on about how good they are at golf, ignoring me of course. I took a tap valve with me and asked if they could give me the inners or something close....
Got the do you know what make the tap is malarkey... without that I cannot help!

I Made a sarcastic remark saying enjoy your golf boys and went into Screwfix down the road. Guy looked at my part and gave me something close. I took it home, removed the inners and bastardised my own valve. No more drip apart from this one.

Sort your customer service out!

Terrible service, and products, from Gillingham Kent Branch.

Ian Evans (who sold me the bathroom suite) stated he will take back a bath panel even though it’s a T item (non returnable unless faulty) also, be warned, most of their items on the invoice are a T items.

After chasing Ian for a while, asking when can I return the bath panel, Ian stated he will now have to check with his branch manager. Ian, has now stopped replying to my emails, I have since emailed Gillingham branch who also ignored my email.

Furthermore, the bath I purchased of City Plumbing, it did crack on the edge. After the tiler lent on it. Both plumber and tiler stated it should not crack even after being lent on, and they have both sat, stood, and lent on thousands of baths whilst working. It resulted in me calling in a bath doctor to repair, which cost me £228

Just cheap rubbish products from City Plumbing with no aftercare.

I own a number of properties which at least 6 are due a new bathroom. I will take my business elsewhere.

Found a product online which it said was in stock at the Bicester branch so I drove to the store. On arrival I was confronted by an angry looking man who took one look at the part I was holding and said “we don’t do those any more”. I showed him the product on my phone, and pointed to where it said they were in stock and ready for collection and he again reiterated that “they don’t do them”. I will not be using any of their stores or the website again!

We can highly recommend City Plumming on Gillingham Business Park.
We are renovating our bathroom and Holly was so helpful in our planning and selection of all items we needed.
She went out of her way to advise,make enquiries,organise our quote,and liase with our fitter.
She is a credit to her company and her help has convinced us to return again as our first port of call for future work.
