Went to the Loughborough branch, needed a washer/valve for a Siamp toilet cistern, it took all of 15 seconds to sort it 👍 plus there was a promotion event and was given a free bacon cob, I spent less than £5 in store and got my breakfast too. It was that quick I didn't get the servers name. Cracking service well done.

Being a DIYer, and er a bloke, I hate to ask questions or ask for help, but Dan at City Plumbing helped me brilliantly without me feeling akward/ useless and for that I commend him and City Plumbing !

Bruce was extremely helpful . He listened to what we needed in our new Bathroom. He than gave us multiple ideas for us to look at, he explained exactly how things would work. And he helped us choosing items within our budget. Alway tgere at the end of the phone should we need any advice. Even Delivering a part himself that arrived late . All the fittings were of great quality, other staff were also very helpful. Very happy with our new bathroom,. And at a very reasonable price.

Aimee at the Doncaster Lakeside branch is a credit to the company - welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. She took time to explain all the details involved in designing a new bathroom and I’m delighted with the result. Thank you Aimee!

David at City Plumbing in Leith was absolutely excellent. We had a good idea of what we wanted and he helped us both refine and improve the design for our en-suites. All the fixtures are tasteful and of high quality. With the help of very professional builders he introduced us to, the final product was even better than we had imagined.

I would like to say a big thank you to City Plumbing Salisbury, and especially to Stewart and Benjamin, for their excellent customer service and support.

Throughout the process, Stewart and Benjamin were professional, helpful and always willing to listen and find a solution. They kept me informed, dealt with the issues patiently and went above and beyond to make sure everything was resolved properly.

I really appreciate their communication, understanding and commitment to getting things right. It was a pleasure dealing with them, and their customer service made a difficult situation much easier.

We have been delighted with the shower room suite and units supplied by City Plumbing. Moreover, we have been very impressed with the service that we received from Vikki at the Newton Abbot Branch. She was very attentive to our requests and clear in her explanations and has provided us with a very good value shower room.

This has to be the worst customer service I have experienced. I brought a plug in solar kit and one of the solar panels is not working. Going back to the 21st September was told they would send out a replacement the next day. Nothing arrived so emailed them 23rd, there has never been a response to email. Called again 25th and was told it would arrive the following Monday 28th , nothing has come. I have sent a further email on Monday and there has been no response.

I have never had a company that does not respond to emails like this and gives repeatedly incorrect information on the phone. I am now stuck with a very large solar panel that is not working

I have had to call again 2nd October as the replacement still has not come. I was informed that it had been damaged although it appears no one was actually going to update me of this. On raising that none of my emails have had responses they have found all 3 emails promptly in the spam folder which I have never heard of a company having.
I have been offered a refund now and was promised an email, no email has of course come. So I will be calling back again it seems.

I placed an order online as my local shop had no stock and I was advised that it would be the quickest way. I placed and paid for the order on a Tuesday and was told (in writing) that my order would be ready on Friday. On Tuesday, still nothing, so I called their help line. What a disaster. After being put on hold, I was told that nobody was picking up the phone in my local shop and that I should try them to help. What is the point in having a central help line if they just fob you off? I then sent an email and got a very swift reply saying they would try and help me. Now two days later I'm still waiting for that help, I still don't have the parts I ordered and paid for and no one has been able to tell me if or when I'll ever get them. I certainly won't be using this company again

Ordered online
2 x solar panels and one was damaged. They could not replace them as apparently out of stock but on phoning around they were in stock in other branches. Let that go and was advised to order and alternative - after having to phone a separate department. ( more expensive panels ) got the PLU code to order again online and the PLU did not exist. Another phone call later and transpires they had not updated their website. I asked when the damaged panels would be collected and my refund given via email - twice with no response.
Delivery driver turned up to collect them with no notice and could not access them so I rearranged collection myself. Still no word on my refund. Still no new panels - total shambles.

Ordered 2 x Storage heaters online and they arrived without bricks. I rang and was told by an advisor that I would have to order brick’s separately from the manufacturer (Dimplex). These were going to cost an extra £430 and I had already spent £1500 for 2 heaters. On checking the prices online the heaters were listed twice at the same price but one said including bricks and the other didn’t mention bricks at all. I rang back again because why would I want to buy storage heaters without bricks !!!

Luckily when I phoned the second time, I spoke to a lovely lady called Vicky in Customer Services. She was very helpful and arranged for the bricks to be sent to me free of charge. I would like to say what an asset she is and thank her very much.

I would suggest that the online description and prices are checked for Dimplex Quantum heaters as it was very confusing- why 2 heaters same price - one with bricks as the other just the heater casing ?

Borderline fraudulent took £2,000 for a boiler and said had not had the order. I still haven’t got the money back 5 days later. Lost work so beware their customer services are rude and incompetent. Looks like I will have to recover money through courts could bankrupt me. Useless and unprofessional all round

Staff in there are brilliant very quick service and brilliant quality PVC wall cladding. Good reasonable prices aswell.

A bunch of scamming time wasters. I bought a solar kit, then immediately saw they had reduced the price of the range by more than £100. I asked for a refund of the difference but they refused, delivered the product and told me I would need to return it to a local branch.

I will never buy from here again.

City Plumbing in Redditch is a friendly helpful suppliers to deal with and most of the time have the goods i require in stock.

Exceptional service and customer care from City Plumbing Wolverhampton

I can’t praise the team at City Plumbing Wolverhampton enough. I was looking for a radiator that was an unusual size, and unfortunately it wasn’t something they had in stock. However, rather than simply telling me they couldn’t help, the team went above and beyond to find a suitable radiator for me.

In particular, Reese was absolutely fantastic. He went out of his way to source the radiator I needed and arrange for it to be delivered. He kept me informed throughout and genuinely seemed determined to find a solution, despite the unusual requirements. That level of commitment and personal service really stood out.

The rest of the staff were also extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. Everyone I dealt with was professional, approachable and clearly focused on making sure I was looked after.

It’s refreshing to experience this level of customer service. City Plumbing Wolverhampton didn’t just provide a product — they took the time to understand what I needed and did everything they could to help me get it.

A huge thank you to Reese and the whole team. Excellent customer service, great communication and a real customer-focused approach. Highly recommended!

Carmarthen branch - up until point of sale, the service was very good and we would have been very happy to recommend. Sadly that is not now the case.
Delivery of items was very poor.
Numerous phone calls to chase missing items, only to be told they were in the warehouse or at a different store. Phone calls were not returned when promised.
After sales service is a big thumbs down from us.
