SCAM PARKING PARTNERSHIP at Ipswich…
SCAM PARKING PARTNERSHIP at Ipswich Hospital, I parked at Ipswich hospital for 1 hour 50 mins and paid for 2 hrs, 9 days later I received a fine of £35 for not paying for my parking, thankfully I got a parking machine receipt for my paid parking, I appealled my fine and sent in the ticket machine receipt with the time, date and my Reg number. Scam parking partnership turned down my appeal on the grounds of insufficient evidence, they had the cheek to say as a gesture of goodwill we are keeping your fine at £35 which painfully I have just paid.
Don't even think about parking in there…
Don't even think about parking in there car park absolutely scamming nobheads no contact as well to call them to appeal the fine hope the people who made this company shut down and experience there own medicine
Paid for parking at Ipswich hospital…
Paid for parking at Ipswich hospital when I visited my mother that had had a heart attack and actually accidentally paid for 4 hours instead of the 2.5 hours I was parked as my head was naturally in a bit of a mess with the health of my mother. I had a receipt but they stated it wasn't enough evidence.Utter cretins! Still however got a car parking fine for £35. What a nasty cesspit filled company of people. Hopefully they will all experience similar when THEIR chips are down! Hopefully Karma will take place.
They issue unwarranted fines
They issue unwarranted fines
I attended an appointment at Ipswich hospital. After my appointment I went to the machine, entered my number plate and then paid. I left the site straight away. A week later I recieved a £70 fine for not paying to park. I have evidence of paying as I used a bank card and have the details on a bank statement.
This company seem to prey on people to make even more money. What if someone payed using coins and didn’t get a receipt.
They are scammers so be aware when using their sites for parking.
scum bag dodgy company
scum bag dodgy company. they don't fix broken machines in pay and display car parks so they can fine you. utterly despicable company. Avoid as they rob pensioners and hard working people
Will reject appeals even if you are correct!
I parked according to their signs (register blue badge at desk if you want free parking- I parked in BB and just paid rather than have to go to the A&E to register for the sake of a few pounds). Got a fine come through for not registering- appeal got rejected!!! Showed proof of payment. Showed proof of payment and BB to Popla who rejected also- obviously on commission. Absolute scammers- disgusting people.
Appalling and disgusting
I Ipswich hospital for my child who's epileptic. I paid for the parking just to find myself with a fine coming through the post for not paying the parking. I filled out a form on their website just to be told after weeks that a different department should be contacted. I did contact that department early January attaching the screenshot proof from the bank with reference number that I have paid and I refuse to pay their now full fine. I got an automatic reply saying they will get back to me within 28 days. Have not heard back again until end February when I just got another letter with increased penalty to £95 from their legal department and informing me the next action is the court of justice. Seriously? They are an absolute disgrace and sending fine letter out without even checking their accounts. They should be ashamed of themselves as we are not attending the hospital for our own pleasure and no person in their right mind would leave without paying knowing their fines are off the chart. Parking at hospitals should be free
Bullying Cowboys
As with pretty much everyone else here, all I can say is I concur with the "money grabbing greedy cowboys" theme.
I used the hospital car park terminal, it failed to find my registration, I followed their instructions, paid the requested amount... and got a £70 fine a week later saying "pay up early and we'll give you a discount". I appealed and sent them proof of the credit card payment which they rejected as "insufficient" without further explanation. They just cut the appeals process at that without any chance of further discussion. They can clearly see I paid from the credit card statement, they can check their own records to see that I paid on the given date / time. It's not my fault if their system is faulty and whilst it would be easiest for me to just pay up, I despise bullying and injustice.
I know I paid and I refuse to give in to their "look, just pay up early and we'll give you a discount" bullying so I have appealed through www . popla . co . uk and would urge others in a similar scenario to do the same
I have received a fine for parking in UHCW Staff Car Park
I have received a fine for parking in staff car park (which currently is charged over £50 per month to park). I was parked in an area with a number of other cars, and I was the only person to receive a fine. I have taken photographic evidence of other vehicles on the day (all without tickets/fines), and subsequent days since, again without any tickets/fines. This feels like victimisation, my vehicle was in no way obstructing any other vehicles either, and the reason given for my fine hasn't been exercised with any other vehicle to date since. I have appealed and been turned down, so I have sent a further evidence to my original appeal and will await their response.
UHCW Walsgrave …
Had to attend UHCW Walsgrave for a bone scan and drove there in my own car with my wife. When it was time to leave, my wife said she would sort out the parking, but she mistakenly entered the registration number of her own car - obviously not the number of the car that we were using (mine). The machine could not find the registration number and asked for time of arrival instead. we were charged for 5 hours - total £8.90 and paid.
We realised later that we had given the wrong registration number but there is no phone number to speak to anyone to explain - only for payment.
When the parking charge notice came we appealed and attached the receipt for the parking (containing the registration number of my wife's car) along with our explanation and an apology for the confusion. Appeal was rejected because :
"After reviewing our records, we
are unable to locate any vehicle registration that matches or is similar to your vehicle
registration. We believe this is due to a major keying error taking place or the vehicle
registration not being entered."
We had already paid for 5 hours and now they were asking
"As a gesture of goodwill, we would like to offer you the opportunity to make a discounted payment of £20.00."
We had actually paid for the parking!!
Daylight robbery!! Something needs to be done about this company, you should at least be able to speak to a human being to resolve problems such as this.
Nearly called the police daylight robbery
Walsgrave hospital car park what a license to print money from the sick, they know exactly how long you are in the car park so why do they round it up to the next hour if you are a minuete over, drove round the car park for half an hour looking for a space,in the hospital for 15 mins £3.60 charge, why doesnt this rotten goverment do something about it
Very disturbing goings on at Ipswich Hospital…
Very disturbing goings on at Ipswich Hospital, My wife is having treatment for cancer and I parked in the bays allotted to cancer patients, this organization send me a parking fine accusing me of parking in the staff car park, Complete rubbish, I challenged the fine and had to send all sorts of paper work to them, I received today a letter cancelling my fine, the letter was pretty snotty saying they are letting me off but me more careful in future, I had paid a fine earlier in the year as cancer bays were full. Again they accused me of parking in staff car park , I was not sure so I paid the fine, I think there could be some sort of fiddle going on? it is sressfull enough taking my poorly wife to hospital, I am now concerned about getting unwarranted parking fines.
I parked at Princess Alexandra Hospital…
I parked at Princess Alexandra Hospital as a patient and paid for parking. I remained well within the paid parking time but i got a ticket. When I appealed they advised that the signage was drop and pick whereas on the signage it states pay and display. They are quick to write a long decision review with wrong signage information just to extosionate money from patients. this is terrible customer service. People rip off the ones who are unwell !! How apaling this is shocking and quite frankly preposterous!!
issue fairly resolved but impersonal and not explained
I received a notice for parking IN a disabled bay at the hospital, where I was instructed to park, and I displayed my badge. Their photo showed me driving either in or out but not parked. My badge was registered with the hospital. I appealed and at first their site did not work well enough to upload my blue badge photos. There is no phone number to actually talk to a person! The second time they sent a letter saying 'upload you badge photos'. Luckily it did work this time. I had spent 5 hours in the hospital with my son and although worried, I had obeyed the rules. I even asked actual humans where I could park with my badge. After much stress, a few weeks later, I have received another letter saying the charge is cancelled in a 'goodwill gesture' and reminding me to abide by the parking signage. BUT I DID THIS! and I have proved it? I am very happy I do not have to pay a charge, but I am confused as to what I did wrong and why it is goodwill if it is within the law? Also my letter said 'dear sir/madam' and did not even use my name or gender. The fact is, I parked in a blue badge slot with a badge displayed. I do not owe a charge. I found the tone a bit irritating, although thank you very much for resolving it correctly!
I tried to pay for parking after an…
I tried to pay for parking after an hospital appointment. The machine did not recognise my registration, it asked me to confirm my registration and I pressed YES. It then said no fee to pay, even though I knew I had a charge to pay. I took pictures of both screens. I received a parking charge notice. When I appealed it with both picrtures they said I had not produced enough evidence. I dont have the time or will power to now go through the appeals process so will pay the fine. Disgusting company who also fined my friend who had a valid Disabled badge clearly visiable on the dash board. Will never park in on of there car parks. Would rather pay for taxis that take the change of a fine
Money grabbing cowboys.
Money grabbing cowboys.
I "parked" for 7 minutes trying to use the EV charge at one of their car parks. Which didn't work. Tried to pay machine this also didn't work. I explained all of this at my appeal. They rejected it. They sent me a demand for £60. THE BPA code of conduct says you need to give people AT LEAST 5 minutes colling off period when entering a car park . Seems this bunch of cowboys couldn't stretch to an additional 2 minutes because their charger didn't work.
If I ever see a car park controlled by this bunch of cowboys I will drive passed and gladly pay double to park at a reputable company's car park.
Avoid like the plague.
Received a parking fine incorretly
I received a parking fine for parking at Ipswich Hospital, despite paying for valid parking correctly via the mobile app.
I appealed and the fine was cancelled.
Absolutely no apology or explanation given for their error whatsoever.
I wonder how much stress and anxiety is caused to elderly or vulnerable people who receive parking fines, even though they paid correctly for their parking? Then to not even apologise for their mistake or offer any kind of explanation just makes it ten times worse. The technology in place clearly doesn't work and isn't fit for purpose when you're sending fines to people who have correctly paid for their parking! I should fine you for the stress and time taken appealing!
Unfair and inconsistent appeals process.
Myself & my partner both received tickets for being unable to pay to park while attending an ultrasound. We both appealed on the same grounds, one was successful and one was not?
Despite the same evidence and documents being used for both. Clearly demonstrating a clear lack of processes to remain consistent in their appeals process.
Dreadful service.
Dreadful service.
We used them to park at a hotel at Manchester airport.
They weren’t expecting us. No shuttle bus ready. No shuttle to collect us. Car was meant to be taken off site and parked. Got back to the hotel to be told the car hadn’t been delivered back. Hotel
(Useless too) rang them to fetch the car back. No response. Turns out our car hadn’t moved all weekend.
Just don’t bother
Absolute scumbags
Absolute scumbags. Was visiting my dying mother at Ipswich Hospital, paid every single day yet still somehow received a charge with absolutely f all I can do about it. If the screen tells me I have paid, I have paid. If there is some kind of f up with your system and payment didn't go through but you told me it did I shouldn't have to pay for your f up. Rip off merchants
