I happened upon Brook Tavener quite by accident whilst looking for something else although I do seem to remember the name from decades ago. I thought they had long since disappeared! However I took the plunge into their website and was very agreeably surprised. I was looking for new trousers/chinos/jeans. I was very surprised by the amount of good looking men's clothing. Not just trousers only but shirts, knitwear, and jackets etc.. What surprised me even more was their range of available inside leg measurements. For me 29" is a little short (OK with a high shoe but not for loafers) whilst 30" is a little too long but Brook Taverner do 29.5", perfect. So I ordered a pair of Moleskin trousers and I am delighted with them. Very well made and comfortable and half the price of Meyer's product. What's not to like. I will certainly be shopping with them again. Oh and their service is excellent although the web site is a bit clunky.

I purchased the Dumfries Tweed jacket and waistcoat and was delighted with the cut, weight, colour and quality of these two items. They hang beautifully and defy creasing, looking spectacular even after being inside luggage for nearly 24 hours. Simply stunning.

Really good customer experience. I purchased a nice quality jacket which was too large so I returned it and ordered a smaller size which came very quickly. The refund for the returned jacket was also made within a few days. Well done Brook Taverner!

Making payment was difficult, kept telling me my address was wrong, delivery brilliant, product fits well, I love it, but men's wool cardigan, button holes were too small, I could not do the buttons up, so back it went, dissapointed.

The cords I ordered were exactly what I wanted they came on time and well packaged. They are of good quality and well worth the money

Good quality clothes that’s fit to actual size

I ordered 2 identical pairs of trousers same size waist and length. One pair (grey) were the correct waist and length. The other pair (navy) are too long. Otherwise (Olney) good quality and value.

Trousers received and fit: yet to wear. Return of two pairs bought earlier and returned, was dealt with and compensated quickly.

Just purchased a shirt on line for £29.50 pursuant to which received an offer of "20% off" but only to find the same shirt I was wanting to buy again had now risen in price to £32.50! Tried their virtual assistant for an explanation but left on continuous hold with the words " A live adviser will join the chat shortly to assist you ..." Hadn't previously used Brook Taverner but won't be using them again.

I have long regarded Brook Taverner as one of the better mainstream menswear producer/supplier.
I have just purchased a new suit from BT online, and, sadly, the whole process turned out to be a long, drawn out and frustrating affair.
I first ordered a 'clearance' suit (with a big saving). Unfortunately, I never received this. Before it reached me, it was returned to BT by the carrier because it had been damaged beyond repair in transit. I suspect this was the fault the carrier and not BT (I had the same problem with the same carrier a few months back). BT were unable to supply me with another the suits, so I chose another style from their current range at a higher price, but still with a promotion/sale discount.
The trousers were sent from BT's warehouse, but the jacket had to be sent separately from a store. The trousers arrived first, but the 32 " waist (which I usually cannot wear without a belt) were incredibly snug and left no room for expansion. I had to purchase a 34" waist which I could wear without a belt. I am in the the process of returning the 32" pair. Then the jacket arrived. It was not the 38" short that I ordered, but a 44"short. Again, this had to be returned, and the correct size despatched.
The whole process was far too drawn out, but, thankfully, has been resolved.
I must say the BT ladies that dealt with my calls were top notch. They were extremely polite, helpful and reassuring.
My confidence in BT has been bruised but not destroyed. I have today purchased one of their corduroy jackets. I tried to purchase from BT direct, but they were out of stock in my size. Thankfully, a local store was able to help.
