If you contact us, you'll be speaking to someone at our Craft Bakery in Harrogate. They are as close as you can be to the heart of our business without being sat next to the bread ovens, so you will be in expert hands.
We aim for perfection but from time to time things don't go to plan, so if the worst happens we will always do all we can to put it right.
Every person in our team has the authority to make decisions on their own, so they will do their best to fix things there and then. They will only pass you along or check in with a colleague when the question absolutely requires it.

What could be more special than an afternoon tea hamper of goodies from Bettys? Beautifully presented and exquisitely baked, the gift went down a treat. The only tiny extra would have been to include clotted cream!

So disappointed
So disappointed. Was so excited to receive my order. The fondant fancies were lovely to look at but were dry, had a strong taste of honey that overpowered the jam and cream. The icing was thin and hard. They are the size of Mr Kipling fancies. Way too expensive. The Bakewell cake was heavy. The sponge I found stodgy, there was no trace of almond flavour apart from the flaked almonds around the circumference of the cake. Didn’t have a Bakewell taste at all. Extremely disappointing and completely overpriced.

We're sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your Bettys cakes; we pride ourselves on our freshly baked items, so it's upsetting if you found the Fondant Fancies to be dry and hard - this certainly doesn't sound right. Also, there is no honey in these cakes, so it is also surprising if they tasted strongly of honey.
The Almond & Raspberry cake is made from a light, moist almond sponge, and whilst the flavour is quite subtle, it does have a delicate taste of almonds. Again, we're sorry if you felt that it was heavy and stodgy - we'll pass your comments through to our Craft Bakery here at Bettys. Thank you, again for your feedback.

Cheesy Rascals
I ordered some Cheesy Rascals as birthday presents and received unequivocal glowing compliments about their deliciousness. All I did was choose them, Bettys did all the hard work, baking and posting. I will certainly order from Bettys again, if only to try the Cheesy Rascals myself.

Perfect Betty’s Treats
I placed an order for some fondant fancies to be delivered direct to a friend. The website was easy to use. I was able to add a gift note and they were dispatched and delivered on the dates promised. Needless to say my friend loved them and said they were delicious.

Sadly we feel that the freshness of the fondant cakes have not been quite a good these last few deliveries. They say they are dispatched two days before they arrive so the fondant has already gone hard. Such a shame but we will not be ordering again

Due to the high temperatures these past few weeks ([particularly in July and August), some of our cakes have suffered during transit - if this has happened, we have always refunded or replaced when the customer contacts us.
