I use Bettys to send goodies to an Aunt in the south, she is housebound and loves Bettys marzipan and fruit cakes etc. I know with Bettys I can warn her of delivery times so she does not miss the delivery, plus it keeps her safe.
This year she particularly loved the Marzipan pigs.

Ordered a hamper, which included fresh scones for a friends special day. Delivery did not happen on the requested day, arriving the following day, which was too late. Also, on Betties advice, the fresh scones needed to be eaten within 1 day of the original delivery date. Not great.
Advised Bettys what had happened and I received an apology. At the very least, a fresh packet of scones could have been despatched. Other than that a lovely, if expensive, product.

The fat rascals themselves were excellent, but (not Betty’s fault) the decorative box the fat rascals were in, plus the external packaging , were all crushed in transit, and the DPD driver didn’t ring the doorbell or knock, but left the parcel out side in the rain ! Suggest get new deliverers .

Lovely chocolate cake, delivered on time.

Fat rascal biscuits and chocolate cake were fabulously tasty and very speedy delivery.

Order shipped at the last possible minute to make the "delivery no later than" date, leaving the delivery company no wiggle room. Delivery company completely botched it by not delivering the package on the expected date even though they had it. Betty's customer service has such short hours they were not reachable until the next morning when I was already in my way to the airport to leave the country. I appreciate the immediate willingness to refund the order, but was very disappointed they wouldn't override their temporary "no shipments to the US" policy given the situation. Clearly they know how to ship to the US (since they've done so for years) and could have made an exception. They just took the easy path of blaming the computer.

From the lovely box to the tea that we still haven’t quite finished it was a lovely experience.

A birthday present for a friend. Beautiful fat rascals as ever but unfortunately the gift card was blank. It was only when I rang her that she knew they were from me and she had been ringing her and her daughter’s friends around Halifax to see if they were from them. 300 miles away! Disappointed. On checking the order there was no mention of a gift card although I was sure I filled the form in! My mistake. Apologies. It won’t stop me buying more fat rascals though!

Excellent quality food delivered on the correct day at the stated time. Perfect !!
