Returned an item in exactly the same condition as I received it. Tried on after a shower and found too big. BOA deducted £16!! Will never order from them again

Very disappointing experience! The quality of the clothing is poor, and the return process is unclear and confusing. The 14-day return window wasn't clearly communicated, and I had no idea returns had to be arranged through a separate website. For the prices they charge, I expected much better quality and customer service. Won't be ordering again! Also don't trust the bots - Lucy is the most unhelpful person I've ever had to deal with lol

Great customer service. I had a problem with an item I was looking for. And Lucy from customer services helped me out in sourcing it and sorting a problem with the older order. She was very responsive and went out of her way to get me information from logistics. I would highly recommend this brand for not only their great pieces but also for after sales people in their organization.

My delivery was delayed after paying for next day deliver, unfortunately this meant I had to find an alternative outfit.
I reached out to the customer service team and Lucy was extremely helpful and kindly refunded my postage straight away.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Absolutely Terrible Quality and Disappointing Customer Service

One of the worst purchases I’ve ever made. The coat arrived torn around the pocket, which is completely unacceptable, especially for a brand-new item. On top of that, the coat is ridiculously thin — it feels more like a blazer than an actual coat. There is absolutely nothing about it that justifies the price.

To make matters even worse, the customer service was extremely rude, unprofessional, and unpleasant. Instead of helping resolve the issue, they made the entire experience even more frustrating.

I am extremely disappointed with both the product quality and the way customers are treated. The coat looks nothing like what I expected, the quality is terrible, and the customer service is just as bad. I would not recommend this product to anyone. Save your money and shop somewhere else.

I couldn’t collect my order from the collection point unfortunately and had to contact support to help sort out my refund (courier did not send parcel back to sender as intended.) I contacted customer support and Lucy was wonderful, very friendly and efficient and sorted the refund quickly, great customer service thank you:)

I ordered a dress that was too small - and when I went to return it, I got a notification that I had missed the return period in the return period - even though I was within the 14 day limit as stipulated on the returns policy.

I then contacted customer service, and Lucy G responded and helped me get the issue fixed very quickly! Really appreciated the quick turnaround on this.

The customer service is 5 star, my parcel arrived damaged due to a courier issues, and the help I got from Lucy was beyond great. She has the issue sorted within minutes. Great customer service from BOA . Can’t wait to wear the dress I purchased. Will defo be repurchasing again!

If you are returning an item, be sure to take dated pictures of when you tried the item on and how it was received/packaged up. I tried a dress on for 30 seconds and when I returned it, they claimed it was unsellable and therefore only refunded 60% of the total cost. When I disputed this with their customer service team, they sent me some undated photos and a pulled thread to try and justify this. Once I threatened legal action (stating how their policy does not overwrite consumer legislation) and a credit card charge back, they processed the full refund. Don't let them get away with it - keep pushing!

Very disappointed with my experience with Because of Alice.

I returned a dress simply because the size was too big. The dress was returned in perfect condition, with the original tag still attached, just a couple of days after I received it.

Despite this, I did not receive a full refund. A huge amount was deducted from my refund, but I was not properly informed what the issue was, why the deduction was made, or given any clear explanation for it.

I have asked the brand to provide clear photographs of the alleged marks and proof that the item shown is actually the dress I returned, but I have not been given a satisfactory explanation.

I find the whole return process extremely disappointing and feel that deductions from a refund should be clearly explained and supported with evidence.

Unfortunately, based on this experience, I will not be shopping with Because of Alice again. I expected much better customer service and transparency from the brand.
