Why is it that every time I do a search for a movie if apparently you don’t carry it, I get your terrible series The Walking Dead? Not everyone enjoys that kind of crap. What happened to your great collection of Classic movies?

attended a showing of "Uncut Gems"at the Ontario 30 theaters . 10.am showing. on Sun; 01/.12/2020// the theater just opened .Ive only been there once before --years ago -before it was converted to the current seating .The greeting & concession staff were very accommodating & friendly .Thats the good !! now for the bad ! once we entered the theater --(it was empty - as mentioned --first showing). we sat in the extreme rear right side . (F1 & 2) . the seats & area were clean, the had swivel tables attached to the seat at, . ( they di not swivel out of the way far enough to comfortably sit in your seat. only rotate 80 %. / my seat was not functioning correctly & uncomfortable . I attempted to sit forward on the front edge --but the swivel table was in the way !! so I slide back & sucked it up .!!! once the advertisements started --there was no picture --just something flashing on the screen now & then. & even worst the sound coming out was sooooo loud --it was vibrating & you were not able to fully understand the words . So now your sitting in a virtually half dark - empty room . sound annoying blasting loudly ! sitting in an uncomfortable recliner / waiting for the movie to start .!! My wife was so annoyed by the whole scenario she went down the steps & into the front to complain along with a few others that walked out ( mind U --the movie hasn't started yet.!!Then a fellow movie goer walked up to me & said he was sold the same seats !! I showed him my conformation#A0105247756 via my cell & he kindly sat in another seat / probably because he was by himself & we were older . He was a respectful person. . within a few minuets the lights turned on & it was thankfully quite in the theater/so Within a few minuets the movie begins !& again the sound was soooo loud throughout the picture it was distracting !! but the movie was GREAT as expected .. good job Netflix.. // it was such a good movie that I suffered having to use the restroom --so I wouldn't miss anything !!. Saying all this ; for one reason. I'm a A1 stubs AMC member ; & enjoy seeing movies !! But I personally would never return to that particular theater!! EVER!! I certain the issues were a staff issue --more that a theater issue & don't mind paying a royalty to enjoy my time there .. in my opinion ` if you want to sincerely enjoy a movie & don't mind paying for a pleasant experience ; go to an IPIC theater Jim . Lack of Customer Service

I received an email at 10:44 AM today about a free popcorn for a year contest. I immediately clicked the link on the email and then the enter button on the website. The link took me to bascically a blank page. I attempted this same effort several times. I then copied the web address information and pasted it into another web browser to see if that worked; it did not. I called customer service (needed to get creative to find a phone number) at 11:03 AM and was told that if I kept clicking the link, the offer wouldn't be there. There was no attempt to try to help me, take a note for the promotions department to fix the link or in any way try to resolve the issue. I asked the person if she was Customer Service as she wasn't making an effort to help me, the customer.

amc doesn’t even deserve one star, i’ve been to 3 different places both 2 days i came to see jumanji because the theater can’t put up on their website that their projector is broken or their sold out WHEN WE HAD RESERVED SEATING

I was extremely disappointed

I was extremely disappointed.
The elevator didnt work.
The escalator didnt work.
Hot dogs were not prepared.
No soap in any of the bathrooms.
Bathroom was dirty.
No paper towels. It was extremely difficult to eat after using the bathroom. I checked after the movie.their was still no soap or sani
No hand sanitizer.
AMC on 11th st n 3rd ave.smh
Their are 7 floors n this theater.
How could they not have escalator or elevator ?
This use to be my favorite local theater.
They had the ordasity to cancel five dollar tuesday for Christmas. We paid full price for horrible treatment. Happy holidays to who?smh

As an ex-employee

They have roaches, rats, the workers never clean and the work environment is extremely hostile. They don't offer new employees adequate training and then get the employees in trouble for not knowing protocol. They do not follow health protocol and Jackson (a manager) at crossroads 16 constantly leaves eithoit a radio or without his radio on. Go somewhere worth your time.

AMC DOES NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS

I was a customer of AMC for over a decade and even joined their basic 'Stubs' program when it was created years ago. In October 2019 I receive an e-mail to try out their 'A-List Stubs' program for a month, for free. I joined to give it a shot and realized it was not for me since I did not watch that many movies a month. When I logged into my account to cancel the 'A-List Stubs' program before the renewal date on my account and my credit card would be charged, I realized there was no 'Cancel' button or link as most other company websites would have and you had to call by phone or 'Chat Online' with a representative to Cancel. I opted for the 'Chat Online' and when I requested to Cancel my account it was initially agreed by the representative that the program would be cancelled and I would not be charged, but after the representative 'reviewed the policies/guidelines' the statement was then retracted and was stated that once I Cancelled I would automatically be charged an additional TWO months because each 'subscription' is a total of THREE months and I apparently did not Cancel within a specific FIVE day time frame (hidden conveniently in the pages and pages of FINE PRINT). My credit card was automatically charged close to $50 along with Cancellation of the program and all the representative could say after stating my concern and disbelief was, 'I'm sorry you feel that way.' Thank you AMC for clearly showing the kind of giant corporation you are, only caring about making quick money off your customers and hiding behind policies/guidelines. Though losing my business won't even be a blip on your radar, I can only hope you and your administration have a Happy Thanksgiving 2019.

They don't care about you, the customer/ movie watcher

My brother accidentally made two A-list accounts on AMC stubs. Finding the mistake i contacted customer service because i was just charged 48$ on two accounts, 48$ for each of the 3 months of AMC. I would be charged 48$ a month which is ridiculous for a month of movies. So i contacted customer service, i told the lady on the phone the reason why the accounts were made, my brother thought if he signed up he would get a month free. This only applies to people who got the email or have been members for more than 3 months. Wait for it,- This A-list upgrade is not free!!, you cannot cancel membership until after 3 months, meaning the first month is free and the next 2 months you have to pay 24$ a month per account. AND!! it is all nonrefundable ( they also hide that it is nonrefundable) so basically they screw you over once you get an upgrade. I explained to the lady about my problem and she kindly cancels one of my memberships because that is what they do to try and get you to keep your membership. However, if you want permanent cancellation, you have to go through something called a Loyalty or commitment period. Which is absurd!!!!.... To Not pay for the membership if you want it cancelled due to a mistake or an accident, they charged me another 48$. On top of the 48$ i already lost because they have nonrefundable policies. Basically i just lost 84$ just to get the memberships cancelled and the lady on the phone did not care at all!! I am upset of how AMC is basically a cash-grab, They basically stole my money!!! i will never go to an AMC Theater ever again.

You guys are trash

You guys are fulcking garbage. My family and I don't pay for full cable so when I log on to my phone and buy AMC for $6 a month. And I try to watch the walking dead, I get told that I need a TV provider with this channel already installed to watch this show. Why in the fulckwould I buy your AMC mobile for $6 a month if I already have the channel on my TV? You're app is a fulcking hoax, and you people deserve to be sued for this I wish I had the money but I can't because I am just a peasant. Fulck you AMC

1. The worst customer service ever seen, wait for 15 minutes before being transferred, then got hang up directly;
2. They never let you know if you sign up for membership, it is for at least 3 month, ever better, if you want to cancel you have to call 5 days before the next billing circle in order for your card not be charged; are you serious?
3. all they care about is your money.

Great customer service!

I went to the Castle Rock AMC location to watch the new Toy Story movie and was pleasantly surprised by the customer service! I haven't been to AMC Castle Rock in quite a long time and I am happy to know that it's still going strong. One of the employees, I believe his name was Casten, was very helpful when I asked about how stubs work and never hesitated to answer questions and help out. Overall a very enjoyable experience!

useless chat/customer service

useless chat/customer service feature. rewards dollars from my amc stubs account weren't applied to a purchase i made via the app. the chat service person didn't seem to understand what was going on AT ALL, didn't listen to anything i was telling them, didn't understand the purchase i'd made or what i was asking for. couldn't give a single reason as to why the rewards weren't applied. only solution offered was to re-purchase, re-download the app (mind you i tried to purchase on the website THREE TIMES first and it froze every single time) or purchase in the theatre. well doesn't that defeat the purpose of the online store?! also, with no reason or solution for missing the rewards application the first time around, i'm supposed to risk buying a SECOND time and just HOPE that my rewards are applied? USELESS.

Terrible

Terrible. Wouldn’t let me pick seating on the website on my phone. I didn’t want to download the app. They charged me 53 and only refunded me 40 within seconds of purchasing so I lost money all because I was unable to make sure all the four tickets were next to each other in the theater. Terrible!!
