Ik heb 2 bestelling meer dan 3 weken geleden geretourneerd en nog steeds is m'n retour niet verwerkt. Ik heb gelukkig bij Klarna kunnen regelen dat m'n betalingen nog een paar weken gepauzeerd blijven dus maar hopen dat AE m'n retour nog netjes kunnen afhandelen. Zo te lezen in de reviews hier gebeurd dit vaker en dat kan echt niet. Ik ga nooit meer bestellen bij deze winkel dat is wel zeker.

This company made a huge mistake and they still want me to pay for something I don’t have! They will only refund or replace items as a courtesy.

This is simply the worst experience I have ever had at an online shop.
I ordered a pair of jeans on August 15th and on the order confirmation it said that they would arrive within 2-5 business days. I contacted the support on August 21st to ask about my shipping and still today on August 29th I haven't heard anything from them.

Ik heb een item terug gestuurd met alle info en het is op 27 juli bij hun afgeleverd.bevestiging van Post nl maar niet van American eagle / Aerie. Vervolgens vandaag voor de derde keer naar de klantenservice gemaild, want nog geen enkele keer antwoord gekregen. Ook telefonisch niet te bereiken je krijgt muziek te horen en dan wordt er gezegd dat het te druk is en wordt de verbinding verbroken. Ik wacht nog steeds op mijn geld!!
Conclusie nooit meer bestellen bij hun online.

Eine Bestellung war zum Glück nicht möglich, da MasterCard den Vorgang wegen Betrugsverdacht geblockt hat. Habe früher schon öfter bei AEO bestellt, immer problemlos. Inzwischen führt aber eine Bestellung zu einer Belastung dee Kreditkarte in CNY, offenbar ist die Marke oder zumindest die Logistik und Faktura in China. Der Betrag, der der Kreditkarte belastet worden wäre, war auch wesentlich höher als im Onlineshop angegeben.
Fazit: ich weiß nicht, ob ich je wieder Klamotten dieser eigentlich recht hochwertigen Marke kaufen werde. Aber sicher nicht, wenn man es von Herstellerseite nicht mal für nötig erachtet, den europäischen Markt mit einer sinnvollen Logistik zu versorgen. Wenn ich wieder mal in den Staaten bin schaue ich vielleicht wieder in einem der Stores vorbei, aber der Onlineshop ist für mich tot. Schade eigentlich

Keine Rückerstattung bekommen nachdem ich den Artikel nach 2 Tagen weg zurück geschickt habe. Meine Email wurde einfach ignoriert. Wie hier schon mal geschrieben, Retoure sind eine Katastrophe: sowohl Artikel als auch Geld sind weg!

I love that AE has pants for everyone! My extra short daughter, tall for me and extra tall for my sons. Not to mention they are super comfy!

Happy with my order
I thought I'd try an order from American eagle because it kept coming up in my searches and they had a few bits on sale. It took a while to arrive so I checked the reviews which I maybe should have done before ordering because they weren't very good and lots of people had issues. I decided to email them to see when my order will arrive and they confirmed it was about to be posted. The items arrived today and they are all really nice. I haven't returned anything so I don't know what their returns are like.

Never order from them, they do not ship!!!
I have been waiting for my order for the past 2 weeks, they never ship it.
They say its the postal company, but this very postal company has delivered orders placed after american eagle, and when I call them, they confirm they never got the package!!!

American eagle refuses to refund me, cancel my order or ship it... I am being robbed of my money
I am looking with lawyers now out of principle; they think we won't go this far but this is European Union and customers have rights!!!

I ordered 3 weeks ago, they cancelled half of the order once it was placed, and I am still waiting for them to ship...
they gave me a fake tracking, everytime I contact the shipping, (La Poste, official french postal service) they confirm they NEVER received the package...
AE keeps blaming them THEY ARE ROBBING ME IN MY FACE!!!!

I've been ordering from AE for many years. I received my order last week, but there was an item missing. I contacted customer service and they indicated that they cannot refund or reship the missing item. In other words, they are not responsible if there are issues with the shipment. I indicated that the issue was not with the shipping, but that the item was not placed in the package and therefore, they are responsible. Had to argue with a supervisor, who finally refunded the missing item but mentioned that it was an exception and that they wouldn't do it if it occured again. If you don't want to risk paying for items you won't receive, I'd recommend not ordering online from AE.

Ordered a pair of jeans from the American Eagle EU website. After a week of waiting the item has still not been shipped. Contacted customer service and was told that my item would arrive within a few days. Today I got an email stating that my order has been cancelled and that the item is not available anymore?? Really disappointing since I was able to order from the website and essentially paying for something that doesn’t exist. Read a couple of other reviews from people saying that they haven’t gotten their money back, so now I’m terrified:((

Scammers.
They send you a wrong item. Tried to refund the money and get the right item. When I contacted them, they pretend to help you in the first mail, when I respond they ghosted me. Instead I get an second mail sent, which says If I don’t respond the mail within 24 hours the case will get closed. Sent them around 6 mails. No answer. Employees name „Pakize“

I have ordered a jeans and i get completely different jeans i contacted there customer service ghey ask me to send photos i reply them with photos and invoice after an hour i get email that i havent reply so my customer enquiry will be closed again i replied with photos no response from anyone ordering anything from american eagle they are scammers here in ireland and i checked company it disolved

Habe zum ersten Mal bei American Eagle bestellt. Einen Teil der Kleider wollte ich zurücksenden. Leider konnte ich keine Rücksendeetikette erstellen, da die Schweiz in der Länderauswahl fehlte. Der Kundendienst bot mir an, mir manuell eine Rücksendeetikette zu erstellen, wenn ich ihm mitteile, welche Kleidungsstücke ich retournieren möchte.
Nach meiner Antwort habe ich nichts mehr gehört und meine weiteren Nachrichten wurden ignoriert. Das war eine sehr teure und unschöne Erfahrung.
Ich werde nichts mehr bei American Eagle bestellen!

Sent me the wrong item, then instead of sending the correct item immediately, they insisted that I had to return the wrong item first, wait for the refund then place a new order.

When I went on the returns page, it doesn't recognise my order number (I copy & pasted it from my email confirmation so it's 100% correct).

Return still not processed. Unlikely to get money back or correct item. Complete waste of time.

I've worn American Eagle jeans for years, but this is not the same American Eagle that used to be in shopping malls. I ordered jeans online and received some strange stretch pants. I contacted customer service and the best they could do is give me a QR code to send the incorrect order back. Of which I now have to drive 15 miles and wait 5-7 business days for a refund. Do NOT order from these crooks, as they are better off going out of business.

Went to the outlet store in Jersey Shore Premium Outlets, picked out a sweater from the sale rack that clearly said '70% off', there were multiple of the same sweater on the rack, and prices were listed eg. $50 now $15.

I took it to the cashier and the discount didn't automatically come up so I mentioned it was from the 70% off rack, she called across her colleague who made up some BS about the rack being 'web exclusives' (lol) and told me that everything in the store was 'up to' 70% off.

I said that the sign on this sale rack does not say 'up to 70% off' it says '70% off' on a single circular rack with prices clearly marked. And I have no idea what she was talking about with the web exclusive stuff.

She rudely argued back and left me frustrated and embarrassed, awful service, glad I didn't end up buying it now as I wouldn't want to be seen dead wearing this garbage anymore.

I'm from the UK and this sort of stuff would not fly over here.

Poor delivery proces wrong items delivered. contacted customer service. That can t do a thing but they are very sorry....
Last week I ordered two pairs of jeans from AEO Eur. They quickly sent me the package. The package slip included the jeans. Inside the package were 2 men's trousers and a pair of gloves. I immediately contacted customer service. It's not easy and quick with AEO. Customer service is only available via email. So, I have to wait. I received a ticket number. So, I wait. I sent a photo. It was a no-brainer. AEO's response is that if I return the package properly and the wrongly sent items are returned in good condition, I will get my money back. So, I wait. Oh, and after much insistence, I get free shipping on my next order. Free above 100 anyway. Very poor service. Not even worth 1 star, really.
