Atrocious in all aspects. 4 times, dating back to 2023, that we've tried to have Wightfibre installed, unless it's an easy install they're not interested to go out of their way to resolve problems. Senior Management staff have been rude, arrogant and unhelpful, mostly claiming its been our fault for them not being able to complete the installation on every occasion. On the latest occasion, we had to prepare for the fibre being laid in the garden, digging out the trench, lifting paving slabs and taking the cable housing through to the loft. The installation team arrived not knowing where to connect to despite there being a site visit the week before and were woefully unprepared, my husband having to show them where the agreed connection point was. Everything stopped when the team couldn't connect to the agreed point and after half a day of the team trying to work out an alternative plan with the office, it culminated in our service having to rely on a split feed with a neighbouring property. We had been reassured following the site visit that there was adequate capacity without needing to split the fibre. However, it came to a resounding halt when permission for the fibre split was refused. We have since been told another site visit would take place before Christmas but we've heard nothing more. In our experience, Wightfibre's strapline "because we care" couldn't be further from truth.

I have found the speed and connection to be sometimes hit and miss but happy enough so far

Been a lifelong user of virgin mobile and their customer service was absolutely awful.
Moved to the IOW and signed up with WhiteFibre and been very happy ever since, customer service is very good, broadband performance is superb.
If you're thanking of switching to WhiteFibre, do it, you won't regret it.

Excellent customer service. When I took out broadband with them they answered all my questions and queries from the setup to using it with professionalism and politeness. They even contacted me a week later to make sure I was happy and not having any problems. They even sent in an engineer to check all my extensions were located for best reception. 5 star product and service.

The process of switching provider was made pretty seamless overall. It was helpful having someone on the other end of a phone who knew what they were doing and who remained patient and pleasant. There always seemed to be another question to ask and the customer support staff were brilliant. Thank you.

Internet is awful!! Goes off at random times so if you are needing a stable connection then this is not going to give you it.
Blocks access to random websites of their choice and you have to call and ask them to add them to your “whitelist”
Zero data protection biggest mistake I ever made signing to wightfibre.

WhiteFibre turned up when they said they would, where thorough. polite and answered questions without irritation as you get with some people when you ask about things very pleasent couple of engineers.
